We literally go there every week.One of best Budget place for Non veg Thali in area.The taste is So Desi that makes you visit the place again and again.They have different Gravy for mutton and chicken.And Bhakries are the best and the Pandhara rassa is what i love most.In the evening Hotel opens at 7:30 and you have to wait at least 1-1:30 hr at peak time However its worth to wait...!!!
The place serves spicy thalis which comprises of chicken/mutton curry, chapati/bhakri, rice, along with pandhra & tambda rassa as accompaniment.
Though the ambience is minimal, the food makes up for it.

They are serving the food in very good amount.
Every plate has three piece of chicken including leg piece that also fully blended and covered with gravy.This hotel is always packed. People are waiting out side to get their turn. But waiting never get disappointed as soon as you just put first bite in to mouth. It's wow feeling. They serves you chapati,bhakari as per your requirement.
One thing is negative is that place is not adequate. There is no family room. But over all about the taste it's worth to visit one time. Next time definitely it's taste will make you visite again.

Chicken lovers please try this thali from “sainath khanaval” near tilak road. I love there “Tambda Rassa”. They serve Tambda-pandhra rassa.
Superb place for the non veg lovers , still better than many branded costly Thalis in pune. If you are mutton lover must visit this place. Quality and taste of food is awesome.

This the only place comes in my mind when I when I am craving for mutton. Always full with the people and serves tasty authentic Maharashtrian food. Also this place is pocket friendly which serves some fantastic non-vegetarian dishes.
Mutton masala :- Being foodie I have tried many places for mutton but no one beat this place for mutton. Accurate percentage of spices with desi ghee and mutton it's heaven no words to describe this

Sainath khanaval Mutton bhakri special is famous for their affordable non veg thalis. Its located on Kumthekar road near alka talkies chowk.
Since located near very small and crowded road finding parking for four wheelers can be problematic.
Its always crowded and waiting times of upto 20 mins can be expected even after 11 pm.
They have 2 adjecent shops and you may have to share table with starngers during rush hour as limited seats are available.
Their usp is the affordable chicken and Mutton thalis below 200 rs.
Chicken and Mutton thalis come in 3 variations. Chicken /Mutton curry or masala or fry.
They serve tambda and pandhra rassa, chapati or bhakri and indrayani rice included in thali.
The taste is very good and food was spicy and tasty as well. Service is fast and food reaches quickly once seated.

I recently dined at "Sainath Khanawal", and I must say the flavors were absolutely fantastic! The chicken was cooked to perfection, and the chicken leg piece🍗 made the experience even better.However, there's room for improvement. The waiting time was quite long, which tested our patience. It would be great if they could work on reducing the wait times.Additionally, the restaurant could benefit from expanding its seating area. It was a bit crowded, and more space would enhance the overall dining experience.Despite these minor drawbacks, the delicious 'chicken and mutton' dishes alone are reason enough to give this place 'five stars ⭐'. I'll definitely be back for more!

Overall it's perfect traditional kala masala chicken thali, which is more prefarable to Maharashtra people. Taste is to hot and spicy.
On weekends you have wait min half hour to get seat but it's worth it. Service is fast but seating arrangements is complicated. You must try one time.
The owner was able to manage the huge crowd. claps for him . The food, you would drool while thinking about the quantity & quality of food. We ordered mutton masala thali , the quantity was superb followed by the taste. The bhakri & chapati were served unlimited. Unlimited indrayani rice with ghee was served and with unlimited rassa. One must try the place . 😍. Try to check behind the banners you will find this small place with awesome food and humble gesture.
It was my third visit to Sainath and since my first visit, whenever I visit Pune, I try to visit the place. This time the wait period extend to more than an hour but it was worth it. The mutton, Bhakri and solkadhi never disappoint.
The mutton was really tender and well cooked. The bhakari lost its thickness this time but still worth having.
The famous Indrayani rice with ghee on it is worth the effort and money.
The price is really reasonable.
Quantity is adequatel. Services is surprisingly fast inspite of the heavy rush.
They serve unlimited gravy (rassa) alongwith lemon and onion which is compulsory for Marathi man..😉

Small restaurant on the main street. Has a small family sitting on second floor. Ambience is okay. Food tasted yummy. wait time can be up-to 30 minutes. Good stop for non vegetarian thali lovers in pune city.
One of the most popular food joints always has a long line, so I never tried it. But one day, I saw that no one was there and I went in. It turned out to be the closing time for lunch and I was the last customer of the day. The mutton thali and chicken thali that they served were the most delicious ones I had ever tasted.
