I must begin by saying that I’m a huge gulab jamun fan which also means that I have had gulab jamuns from various places. It had been quite some time since I had pampered myself with my favorite sweet dish and was in search for a place where I could satisfy my sweet hankering. So a friend suggested me to try gulab jamuns from Kapoor Chola Bhatura and Jalebi, so I just gave it a shot and I just loved them! They had the perfect texture and flavor. Thank you Kapoor Chola Bhatura and Jalebi for giving me the best gulab jamun experience I was looking for. I’m definitely coming back and next time I’ll try your signature jalebi
Reasonable rates, good food, delicious jalebi. The only negative is the staff which almost never smiles and makes you feel unwanted. Smile please.
Will go by its speciality, chhole bhature, they were great. I had also ordered gulabjamun rabdi which was fantastic. It's been months since I was missing the flavour of a North Indian food, thank you for the delicious food.
I would definitely recommend people out there to go for it atleast once.
If you have pure devotion towards Chole then this is your temple.
Food- Like the name states Kapoor lives upto it. Chole Bhature is the obvious winner at kapoors but I'll recommend you try Chole tikki. The perfect balance of chat masalas and a savoury flavour with a hint of sweetness. If you are here for lunch then you surely are lucky. You can try every single dish out of there menu. To accompany your main course make sure you order there lassi. This lassi isn't like the one we are used to having in Dairies in Pune. This lassi is thinner and has a unique flavour of Nutmeg ("Jayfal" ) essence to it. It goes smooth with the food. Last but not the least try their Jalebi. They prepare Jalebi right post you order one. Crispy, sweet and hot is the best way to have jalebi by my opinion.
They have a limited menu and they have stuck to it. Keeping in mind there are so many restaurants next to Kapoor, it stands unique and distinct.
Ambience- Not much to comment about ambience of a fast food joint. They have modest space for 20 people with 5 tables and the spacing between the tables is comfortable.
Service- The service is excellent. Since they serve you freshly prepared food they take 2mins more than regular fast food joints but it is nominal and definitely worth the wait.
The reason I'm taking away 0.5 point is that the cook is slightly inconsistent with his Bhaturas. It is definitely worth a try.
Jalebi with rabdi, cholle bature.... Khana ho to esa. Seriously yummy food. This place is situated on walking distance from my stay so I am kind of regular here.
Highly Recommended place if you are on Baner pashan link road.
Dilli ki yaad dila di!! Delicious chole bhature, rabdi jalebi (made fresh right in front of our eyes) and lassi..must try!!
Plus pocket friendly :)
I wanted to visit this place since a long time, since i had heard a lot about it from my friends. I finally went for lunch in pimple saudagar outlet of kapoor . Everything i had ordered was simply mouthwatering. The RABADI JALEBI was too good . and even chola bhatura was awesome. Would love to visit again!
When I first went here, I was very skeptical. Because the place resembles to a dhaba, that too in the line of variety of cafes. We ordered chole bhature and tava pulav. Surprisingly the taste was so good, I ended up eating two servings of chole bhature. The taste is typical North Indian, desi. The food was nowhere near oily. You can make your dish spicier by informing them in advanced. As for desserts, the speciaty is Rabri jalebi. It is super tasty. It's a must when you are here. You can also have Rabri gulab jamun. The main thing what I liked is the food is freshly prepared when you order. Even the dough from bhature was being made after we gave the order, Same with the jalebi. Definitely worth going!
There are somethings that define a place itself. Food is one such thing that connects places and people. Someone from Kolkata would know where exactly to find the best mishti doi or where in Delhi you'd find the most amazing tikkas. You don't advertise it and you don't know who started it first, but you'll have heard it and experienced it yourself.
Reasonable rates, good food and quick service.... One of the good places to get awesome hot Bathuras and Chole... I am not a big fan of sweets but did find Rabdi and Jalebi good, you can surely try it once.
Extremely tasty chole bhature, dahi aloo tikkii and rabdi. The hygeine is not the best though.
