Cheers to the perfect destination for a fantastic experience! The ambiance, food, tranquility, service, and celebrations all come together seamlessly. Located in the heart of Pune’s city center, atop the upscale Sheraton hotel next to the railway station, it’s an ideal spot for celebrating with family and friends. Our visit on November 19th, my birthday, was truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, parking was hassle-free with valet service. The restaurant’s entrance already set a positive tone for our evening. The rooftop setting, beneath the moon and stars, created a mesmerizing atmosphere that pictures can’t fully capture. With various seating options accommodating large groups, it’s a versatile venue. While Google Maps states it’s open until 11:30 pm, it closes at 11 pm. We arrived at 10:15 pm, just in time for the last order. We indulged in delicious dal chingari (black dal), and roti. The authentic ghee flavor in the dal surpassed even the famed dal makhani from North India. Highly recommended! Accompanying the meal were pickle, papad, chutney, and achar. Drinks were complemented by quality peanuts. The menu caters to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians with a balanced selection. I’m confident that other dishes are equally delightful. The service was commendable, prompt and attentive. Despite occasional noise from the nearby railway station and dim lighting in some areas making it challenging to read the menu, these minor inconveniences were overshadowed by the overall great experience. - drafting supported by ChatGpt

One of the best places for celebrating of your special day. Our experience at this restaurant was just amazing. It's located on the rooftop of Sheraton Grand Hotel, next to Pune Railway Station. You can get great views of Pune City from this place. There is pool on the rooftop and the ambience here is pretty amazing. Food wise, we started with the Dahi ke Kebab, I never knew curd could be deep fried, and it was absolutely delicious, I will definitely recommend you to try it. We also had the Bharwan Shahi Paneer Tikka, the Paneer was soft and the grilled vegetables along this had an amazing taste. For mains, we ordered Laccha Paratha, Roti, Garlic Naan and Paneer Makhanwala, it was very tasty. Chef Rashid came out to ask exactly how we would like to have it and that was just a really good experience as guests. However, without a doubt the show stopper at Chingari, is their heavenly Dal Chingari (Dal Makhni), it was the most amazing dish of the day by far and you have to give it a try!! The hospitality by Hmingi, Mairav and Chef Rashid made our celebration special :) Shout out to the team. The only drawback of the restaurant that I could find is that some areas are not properly lit, we were having trouble reading the menu and seeing the food properly, but it was not a big issue and we were able to switch tables conveniently!!

One of the best romantic rooftop restaurants in pune.. but it's bit overpriced for the food and service they provide.. Went on weekend hoping there would be some live music but just some random indie pop remix songs played.... staff was friendly but didn't attend us much as we had to call them everytime we wanted something... Best Kababs and starters.... n other main course is average.. and dessert menu is very limited.. We tried kulfi but it tastes like a regular kulfi we get on a street.. So you can go there just for romantic ambience once in a while but it would be hard on pocket..

If watching trains pass by gets you all nostalgic about your childhood and takes you back to good memories of traveling, then Chingari is the place . Located on the 8th floor of Hotel Sheraton Grand, it's a rooftop restaurant that serves biryani, kebabs and Northern flavors. I enjoyed my drink just staring at the train station , good food , do try the kebabs, Awadhi murg biryani and don't miss the kulfi at the end. Service was good by Cinmay and other staff. The place has different seating area , since it was raining we sat in the covered area. A good place for family and also a date. Enjoyed a beautiful evening with family .

Roof top place is attractive in night with city views, bar in a hut, railway station from top, swimming pool, seating arrangements, and lights. The food is tasty and I felt awesome. The service too. The price I find perfect for the experience.

Excellent Indian food. Very tasty and great quality. Tender mutton pieces in the biryani. Could do with better lighting next to the pool but great ambience overall.

Chingari - An Awadhi themed fine dine restaurant at The Sheraton Grand, next to Pune Railway Station (earlier Le Meridian) Chingari is famous for its roof top restaurant theme and deserves the fame it has earned over the years. First ever restaurant we visited post COVID situation with family and we were happy with the arrangements. Polite and courteous staff. The food was really well prepared and was served beautifully. We tried all vegetarian options this time and loved the non-paneer starters for a change. Bar menu is very vast and one can get good options in non-alcoholic beverages as well. Great place to take your family, friends or colleagues here to enjoy elite class Awadhi cuisine. Just be careful about the cost, this place is not pocket friendly.

Good option if you’re looking for rooftop place for family or date. Place is very amazing ambiance wise. Food options are little less. Food and drinks are costly. , because this restaurant is on rooftop on five star hotel.

Loved the ambience, Food , service . Overall it was a great experience. We had chicken malai Tikka, It was tender, soft, rightly cooked to give you the authentic flavour of malai Tikka. Also had chicken dum biryani , It was also nice. 2nd visit : I went with my In-laws for the celebration of birthday and we had few dishes like malai kofta, butter paneer. The experience was nice and food was awesome. The hospitality was top class. We had A-mazing pan and sweets there. The manager at Chingari, Aranya was very kind and offered us some complimentary sweets also.
