This place is only meant for the spicy food lovers! Too much spice ( and oil ) adds up to the very distinct taste of the curries. Usually I prefer "ala-carte" menu over the "special thalis" but this time went against my own opinion & tried out thalis which are quite reasonably costed. I went with shev-thali as its boasted as the "Khandesh Special" - tastewise it was good but too much spices will take away the regular eaters from this one. The thali was simple shev bhaji along with 3 chapatis - quality(and size) of the chapati was good as compared to the other places thalis (where it becomes too difficult to get rid of them). The other one was "Anda thali special" which come up with Anda curry, anda masala, masala rice and 3 chapatis. The spice in both egg dishes was bearable and to me these tasted much better than the shev-bhaji. Masala rice - again water started coming out from the nose and eyes at the same time after eating it - too much spicy but again spices ke siva maja bhi kya hain sabji ka (aur jindagi ka bhi ;)) .ย ย
In short, pocket friendly, petbharu option and can be tried & tasted once to get taste of real spicy food :).

But whenever it comes to food I prefer taste rather than ambience. I have been there 4 to 5 times, tried following dishes till date.
Shev bhaji - Awesome! No doubt, my favorite being khandeshi guy. 5/5
Wangyach bharit - a bit spicy but prefer in seasonal times when there is good amount of wangi available in market in Nov-Feb period. 4/5
Varan batti - Available only on Thursday and Saturday evening. 90 rs unlimited thali. 4/5
Bajri bhakari : freshly made and superb in taste. 5/5

Khandeshi katta is one of the best place to have a meal. They have various tasty options of food. They serve very nicely. Service is fast and cleaned. Dal khichdi and tadka khichadi are the best I liked. Nonveg is also good.
Good place for authentic Khandeshi food. Try Varan(Dal)-Batti (only on Thursday and Saturday), Shevbhaji, Bharit, Matki masala, Lasuni Methi etc. 1 less start for ambience. Crowded on weekends.
Khadeshi j1 classs ever I had. Best test bhakari also available there and it is at so affordable price. Every menu having great test .. not that much abianace but test is the best...
Good place to have khandeshi food. There are lot of places for khandeshi food but only bunch of them are really good, this is one of them. You would surely love the food here if you like khandeshi cuisine.
