You can relish some delicious food at Payathya – Foot Hill Restaurant with live music and range of variety at all three times of the day! The place is divided into Pune,Satara & Mumbai sections and I totally love the simple ambience!
I had some really comforting soups here & the buffet spread is something you can't get enough of! Right from the rich Indian cuisine to elements the variety in veg & non veg dishes, Payatha is a full package!
If you're visiting Fort Jadhavgadh then you'll mostly end up having atleast one meal at Paytha which is their Buffet serving restaurant.
I did same , I had 3 meals at Paytha which was lunch , dinner and breakfast. In those , I'll recommend you guys the breakfast more as compared to all of three my experience at breakfast was fantastic.
Food here is good but can be improved , varieties are more than enough and the dessert counter is perfect too. Just the food taste is something I found lacking which I think can be taken care of.
The starters are great but if you'll go on weekends , the service can be slow because of the rush. The starters gets dry because of same on weekends.
Main course could be improved as you don't get the exact taste which you expect when you see the name tag.
As for the breakfast everything was on point and the live section is something you should look out for all the three times.
Overall verdict - The food here can be improved but the other things are on point.
Nice place in outscirt of Pune. Good food. We had breakfast buffet there. Wide range of foods. Good croissant and cinnamon rolls. Nice live dosas as well as bhatura. Kerala bonda, aaloo bondas are the best. ...in short everything was best and service is also very fast. You will love the filter coffee and masala chai as well. A must visit place.
"Payatha", this restaurant located in the vicinity of Fort Jadhavgadh is absolutely worth and should be in your bucket list when you are in Pune.
Its a rooftop restaurant designed with sections given "Mumbai"& "Pune".
Plus the railway station names given to all tables which looked quite innovative and out of the box. Special thanks to Chef Biswanath and of course the GM Biswajit Biswas who recommended us the best dishes here. There was a Buffet section of both Veg and Non-Veg respectively. The live flute music was so mesmerising that you would not want to leave this place. A standing ovation to the Flutist who entertained us throughout our lunch-time, he played Bollywood, Indo-western, english and the best of oldest Hindi songs as well.
Coming to the food we had-
Corn Tikki, Cheese balls
Ch achari tikka, Fish tikka
Tandoori aloo
Mains-
Mix vegetable, paneer tikka lazeez
puneri batata, mutton curry, dal-rice and biryani.
We highly recommend the live counters which had Puran polis made by the local villagers here giving a surreal authentic taste. Also the bhakris and phulka rotis.
Live jalebi/Malpua counter plus a different counter for desserts (icecreams, moongdaal halwa, truffle/strawberry/tiramisu pastries).
Also Saturday/Sunday nights they have special Ghazal Nights which are quite entertaining.

This is a gem of a restaurant! Amazing spread for buffet, live music and very tasty food. Located af the foothill of Fort JadhavGadh, this restaurant I'd your best pick for a family meal on a weekend. There is ample space for seating large groups, live counters for rotis and bhakris. If you are staying here, the breakfast spread is pretty appealing too!
Payatha is one of the restaurant at the JadhavGadh hotel, fort heritage hotel.
They introduce it as an ethnic foothill restaurant which is located on basement floor or we can say few stone steps below the main entrance reception gate.
There is Maharashtrian cuisine in food but along with that also other Indian cuisine to cater to all guests.
Food is served in buffet form.
All the food which I tried was very good at taste.
Service was as per expectations from JadhavGadh.
Service staff was in typical traditional costume.
The sitting was like a candle light dinner setup and lights were dim at dinner time.
There was live music which added to the ambience.
Altogether a nice restaurant.

Payatha is on the foothills of the famous Fort Jadhavgadh. One can try authentic Maharashtrian delicacies here. The buffet spread is awesome too! One can also enjoy different activities here like Live Music, Gazal nights, Mehendi drawing and more! We loveddd the food here and yes don't miss their Filter Coffee. It's absolutely gorgeous! All in all, Payatha is a perfect dining option when you are staying at the property. It's also a must visit if you are around Saswad or Jadhavwadi :) Great local food! Kuddos to the team and the management 😇💯
Paytha
A buffet restaurant in magnificent Fort JadhavGADH.
Paytha means foot of the hill and this restaurant is located at the start of the fort so it is named as Paytha.
As mentioned above this is a buffet restaurant and serves amazing food. The menu is mixed Maharashtrian, Punjabi and other regional cuisines but major focus is on Maharashtrian cuisine. They have multiple live counters as well.
Paytha serves all meals buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a cyclic menu, everyday you are served something different and amazing. I loved their food and service. Good Food made and served by good people .
The paitha Restaurant located in Fort Jadhavgadh is the place for you to satisfy your tummy cravings after your activities in the fort. Located at the base of the fort, the restaurant has Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Buffets served everyday with a cyclic menu.
The menu focuses on Maharashtrian cuisine to go with the theme of the fort, but you shall find everything from Bengali to Continental cuisine available.
There are live counters as applicable for Chaat, dosa , eggs, waffles and desserts!! So you can have food fresh to your plate. You have a lot of variety to choose from so there's something for everyone. And with all the activities at the fort, you're bound to be famished and this is the perfect place to satiate that hunger! The food here isn't over the top, but with the combined experience, the entire package is worth it.
This is an in-house restaurant of Fort Jadhavgadh Heritage Hotel. Food is available here in the buffet only. Per person charges are 1550 ₹+ taxes. Our package included breakfast so we ate here. The food is good. Options are limited but whatever they serve is of good quality. Personally, I loved the experience.
This restaurant is located inside Fort. They serve buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. It serves veg and nonveg food. Soft drinks and alcoholic drinks are available as well. The staff has nice Maharashtrian attire and treat the guests courteously. Self service and table service is available. They accept cash, card payment. Food was super tasty, especially the live bhakari counter. The menu has appetizers, starters, main course and desserts. Drinks are not included in the menu and are charged separately. This is operated by VITS.
Really good food but specially the staff was incredible. Very polite very, hospitable, kind well spoken and pleasant.
Weekend special food with live counter.

The taste is good and pleasant 😋.
Service is good and the atmosphere is awesome.

Beautiful setting....
Food is authentically regional.
Priced reasonably.
Astounding service.
Music and menu both were excellent.
Good maharashtrian food choice. Spacious place. Courteous staff. Serves veg, non veg.. good scenery.
Loved the natural ambience they offer. This place has a typical Indian vibe, the way it is structured. This particular thing, makes it a part of Jadhavgadh resort. The food here was great. Also the service was up to the mark.
A real good place to have food when you're at Jadhavgadh fort heritage resort.
The Paytha restaurant is located inside the Jadhavgad fort. The ambience was quite good with tasty starters and main course including both veg and non-veg food. The desserts were also nice. The service was prompt and good. Also liked the high tea at this place in the evening. The Samosa along with high Tea was tasteful and was different from what we usually get in Pune city. Overall it was a nice experience here.
Had lunch here, very delicious indian and Marathi food served as buffet. Live music (flute) added charm to the tranquil ambience. Came here with my family, and everyone really enjoyed the whole experience :)
