Niwant is a cool dhaba styled sit out restaurant at Bavdhav. It’s located at Bhugaon road. The restaurant has a decent parking space available. Talking about the food, for starters we had ordered a chicken achari tikka and a Paneer Haryali kebab. Quality of the paneer and the chicken was fantastic. The taste was very authentic and the spices were rightly used with an amazing marination. 5/5 for the starters. For main course we had the Niwant special chicken and my favourite Paneer Patiala. The chicken main course was super duper in quantity and trust me 3 to 4 big munchers can surely justify it. Taste of the chicken was classy and was very rich. Patiala too was superb. To close it we had a chicken dum and a veg dum biryani. Both the rice items were very good. To sum up it’s a cool place to be at with great service, well maintained hygiene and yes yummy food. 5/5 from me.
New Niwant restaurant which is more of a dhaba style place is an amazin place to have some good North Indian food. We ordered Paneer Chatpata Kebab, Chicken Achari Tikka, Paneer Patiala, Niwant Special Chicken, Matka Biriyani and Butter Rotis. Each and every dish tasted yumm and also our customisations were taken care of. Would highly recommend this place for good food. Some dishes prices are littleee on a higher side but completely justifies the quality and quantity served.
One feedback would be, rotis can be of wheat. They serve maida tandoori rotis only. Other than that it was just finger licking good food.
Cool and breezy weather allowed us to enjoy every bite of it.

It's a nice place to hang with family and friends, the food is good. You can really enjoy Indian food. The place is a bit on the outskirts of Pune. On the same road there are lots of restaurants in fact you can only see restaurants on both sides of the road. If you are coming from Chandnichwak keep an eye on the right.
There are separate sitting for family and for groups. You may wish to sit in the open or under a covered roof.
The best thing is the food, right from soups, starters to main course. Don't look for desert here.
Kebabs, tandoori and naan are must try.
