very hygienic place and authentic south Indian dishes, must visit for all the seafood lovers, reasonably priced. Humble owner and kind staff.
I loved this place! I stay a couple of blocks away from here and recently discovered this. The food is SO GOOD I cannot even start. Amazing food it's a sweet simple place and very friendly service. :) All the best guys.

.......
Amazing food , special for fish , apam is very soft and nice , not at all expensive , good place to come with your friends , but you won't find a good ambience , it's just the food that is tasty
Great food. Sufficient quantity. Ordered bangda fish curry, chicken nadan and Malabar paratha. The restaurant has vastly improved since it opened. I am sure they keep producing delightful and flavoursome food. I wish them all success.
Have had Chicken Roast, Biryani, Parotta, Pepper Fry till now. All great dishes. Amazing Hospitality the way order is taken. Got a customised order today. Amazing quantity. Looking forward to more dishes. Love this one.
I ordered the South Indian thali (Sadhya) for lunch today, and this was good value for my money!
I lost below what was included in the thali and my opinion of it:
- Avial: excellent quality and taste. Definitely authentic Keralan taste this one
- Rasam - another tasty dish, black pepper based and authentic Madras style
- Sambhar - poor quality. Requires major improvement as it was the one dish that was a major letdown
- Beetroot poriyal - beautifully made and had the right amount of sweetness to it. Only issue was the quantity which was very little compared to the other subzi.
- a type of coconut vegetable subzi, which I am guessing must be korma: not great, vegetables were cooked at the right level and had a bite to it but it was overdosed with turmeric and you could definitely taste it!
- Red rice: a bit overcooked but no biggie
- tamarind coconut chutney good taste, very little quantity
- achar: decent
Major disappointment: no dessert! I Thalis usually have a sweet dish and my heart broke and my world shattered when I saw that there was nothing!
Overall: good food and excellent value for money, but please improve on your sambhar majorly and your korma a little so that the whole thali is fab and no one can fault it! And please don't forget to deliver the DESSERT too.
Authentic Kerala food! Excellent flavours and great experience to sit down and eat on the banana leaf. Roast chicken, appam and parota! Yum!
A South Indian especially a mallu staying in Pune, this place is a must visit. When u heart craves for Kerala food this is wer u have to be. The beef u get here is perfect. Parathas are good. The fish they serve is fresh and also the service is pretty good. Try this place u won't regret it.
This is a small and simple joint but serves lovely food.
Tried chicken pepper fry amongst the starters. I loved the Prawns alleppy curry and ofcourse the appams too. The fish curry was delicious. They also serve fresh lime soda which was a relief in this hot weather.
I definitely recommend this place for simple, authentic and quality food.
Food: 4.5/5

Being a 'Keralite' who is sparsely accustomed to it's cuisine,Kerala restaurants have always intrigued and ignited the interest in me with regards to how truly they imbibe the Kerala flavours into the cuisine. And when I was in NIBM road with another 'Mallu' mate,Zomato led us to this curiously named place (taking a cue from the one of the biblical stories of Jesus Christ) and we couldn't avoid it either due to our love for Kerala food! ;)
The place doesn't have any ambiance to greet you or soothe your eyes and is strictly functional in those terms with plastic chairs and tables adorning the area around. The place was starkly empty when we reached. And we got a place to park our vehicle too so the parking woes were dealt with too.
We started off with Pazhampuri(aka Banana fritters),a Kerala sweet delicacy that is pretty staple back there and they luckily served it on the day we dropped by.And my fears were allayed pretty much since it tasted pretty great and had a slight tinge of elaichi(aka cardamom) that made it better!
Next,we went in for the Kerala Parotta(not to be confused with the North Indian Paratha),a flatbread made of white flour and Egg Curry and Egg Masala. The Parotta was delightful, softer in texture and not chewy as such. The Egg Masala was equally delightful,a thick brown gravy laden with a coconut base and so was the Egg Curry though it was very watery with regards to the gravy.
And last,we went in for the star of the day,The Kulukki Sarbath,a Kerala variant of the Minty Virgin Mojito with a strong lemon flavour and sabja seeds(holy basil seeds) added in for that cooling effect. It reminded me of my childhood days spent in Kerala and we went in for extra glasses of the same!
What went downhill was the pretty slow service and hence the lower rating. The service was slow despite the fact that there were three guys working in the kitchen and no other customers to serve to.And they didn't seem prepare beforehand since we could sight them bringing the eggs from a nearby shop and boiling it rather in front of us! Nevertheless, the servers and the guy who handled the finances were an affable lot.
Overall,a pretty great Kerala restaurant that manages to love up to the high rating on Zomato and did keep our taste buds enticed too! They need to iron out the minor issues aforementioned and they can truly become a force to reckon with! ;)
Recent post- I ordered food a few nights back.. I totally lived it.. And thank you for the additional chicken dish. So.. I was sent an additional chicken dish for last times confusion (mentioned in the below comment). I ordered chicken stew. dnt quite know what the other dish was.. But it was nice... Spicy but nice..
Old posts from 2 to 3 months- Still searching where this joint is... But got the food delivered. The delivery was quick and the was quite nice. I love keralite food and I was quite excited about this place. Especially coz it was run by Christians.. I'm a little bias to people from my community.. Can't help it.
I ordered chicken stew full and and a chicken varutharachathu / nanda( dnt really remember now) half. Appams, Malabar paratha and kothu egg paratha. The meal was delicious. They did not have a quite a few items available. Dat was quite disappointing.
Also... I realized that I was given the same portion of both the chicken dishes. I called the restaurant to check with them. Both my dishes had 3 pieces of chicken. Considering one was a full and one was a half there should have been some difference. The lady said that there was a mix up and the second dis was a full while the 1st was a half. It still dnt make sense to me coz both seemed same.
I got a call back from the lady saying that there might have made a mistake.. And that she would send me the excess cash back. I asked if she could send me a half portion of any if their dishes the next day. I would not mind paying the difference. She agreed. But the next day nothing happened and since it was ash Wednesday that day I just let it go. I expected to receive a call or something but I guess she forgot. The food was great no complains at all... but not a great over all experience..
Superb grub
The tawa fried mackerel was tasty with just the right amount of spice. Chicken Madan curry was heavenly. Idiyappam was great.
The pepper fried dish was out of this world. And the price for all these delicacies was very very reasonable.
Keep it up.
