Calling Mumbai my most favourite city in India and not having dined in an Irani Cafe is a monstrous miss. Which is why on the recent visit to Pune the first meal was planned here. Being a vegetarian that day wasn’t very limiting as the vegetarian omelette was really delicious and so was the paneer bhurji, a perfect replacement for a Parsi Akuri. After sampling all this, along with a very sweet and strong Irani chai was a great breakfast experience, but what beat it was the Irani black chai with mint accompanied by some dates, truly remarkable combination, that I loved, and the best part was it was complimentary, at least I think it was.
Having tried the bun maskas from the chai chains in Bengaluru, had not prepared me for the OG bun maska here, the super soft pillowy bread hiding creamy yellow butter was absolutely stunning, no wonder classics such as this stay relevant even today.
The vegetable cutlets were superbly well made, the thin crispy layer with a beautiful filling that was masaledar and had a tinge of chaat masala high on amchur / dry mango powder. The chili cheese toasts were a different league altogether, red chilli flakes and cheese stuffed soft white bread is what very good mornings are made up of, salty cheese, spicy chili, balancing white bread, fantastic toast with chai.
My first experience at an Irani cafe and I loved the whole experience of dining in a place of historical significance, from classics such as bun maska and Irani chai, can’t wait to head to Mumbai soon , for indulging in a full blown meal from Irani Cafes.
Best place to hangout after movie … I love Irani cafés chai n bun Maska it’s my all time fav snack item!!! This mall has only this best thing 😅
The food is good, the ambience is nice, to take good pictures, visit in the evening or night. The outside view from the cafe is outstanding, you will love it with a chai and a sandwich.
I think it is overpriced. Also, the service was not good.
Leaving this, everything is just superb.
Specially when weather is cold outside, like monsoon or in winter evenings a hot cup of Irani chai with maska bun feels quite comfortable 😋
If you have a love for baked stuffs, this place great for you.

Very practical and nice place to hangout. Chai, Bank maska and mousse cakes would be something to check out here. I've had many friendly chats and laughs here and made few memories.
The food they serve is nice and pretty decent better than other Irani cafe in the town..!!
The paneer Bhurjee and bun Maska was amazing..!!
Must try once..!!
The food was average, the atmosphere is great and so is the service. Tea again not worth what you paying, but then Chicken Kheema is good ,a bit dry though.
The interiors are much what they focused on, but a good place to hangout with friends for an early breakfast
After Vohuman cafe in Pune, the best one is here! They have got the best veg cheese sandwich 🥪 and black tea 🍃
I visited here in morning after my Sunday Ride, and this place was packed, not a single place to sit. I had to wait for like 15 minutes but the wait for worth it. Their Tea is just perfect.
