We took our personal boat from the satapada on the price of 1300 and they travel to us nearly 2:30 h to 3h it's a very enjoyable journey.
You can enjoy it a lot here because birds are coming from behind the boat. So, it's better you can take some food like popcorn, kurkure etc..
But unfortunately we saw one dolphin over there only we thought we could see more than one dolphin but it's up to luck.
Enjoyable ride. But costly.
Don't expect to see red crab. They will show you 2-3 red crabs in the tray. I have never seen such nonsense.
If you enjoy boating it will not disappoint you. But there is no good spot as indicated in the ticket booking centre. All the spots are mainly bogus. The sea beach near the island is good.
But you must try food near the riding point. Little costly but tastes awesome. Must order the food before riding the boat as it takes some time to prepare the food. The fish is fresh.
Satapada is a part of chilika lake where we can see endangered irrawaddy dolphins. Visitors can book book and can see the endless natural beauty of the chilika lake. Boat are there from price 600 to 1500 depending upon seats and hours. For a complete trip it will take 3 hrs in boat to see dolphins , migratory birds, blue carb and sea mouth island where chilika lake meets Bay of Bengal. A must visit place to enjoy the beauty of nature

Dolphin Safari is Good. Human intervention and pollution is increasing. Boat drivers try to trap Dolphin in Narrow passage which is Not at all acceptable.
Odish Environmental Department is Sleeping.
We visited here on 20th of December 2023, yesterday and on enquiry of tickets we were told 2 rates Rs.5750 and Rs.5250 for boating for 2 persons, one couple. We returned back after knowing that there is blackmailing togetherness by drivers and ticket sellers jointly. Very bad practice is there

Here you can see dolphin and also find all types of seefoods and you can enjoy this place but be careful when if you are boating fishing and enjoying the place
This is the famous site for dolphin, sea birds. You can visit this place at satapada also before satapada, some boating points can be easily located. Also you can visit kuity beach where Cyclone fanny hit the odisha coast in 2019. So much relaxing, awesome ambiance, affordable best for family and friends in weekends also.
A beautiful place to begin your boating for Chillika lake. We saw dolphins since we went for boating early in the morning. Would recommend everyone the same.
They also take you to Rajhans islands in the bigger package and beach enthusiasts can proceed for that.
Always ask your taxi driver about the prices here because these are actually expensive boats. (INR 3500 - INR 4600)
