without doubt best pav bhaji in rajkot - i have tried virtually every where but this is the one place that has authentic bombay taste. Place is very simple but when you have such good food, who can complain?
by a long shot - best pav bhaji in rajkot. Place is not great to sit but for a food lover nothing is more importatnt then the food served on table - fresh, tasty and good quantity with very reasonable rate and smiling waiter.
In Rajkot - think pav bhaji, think Bhagat or Raju. We always order the butter pav bhaji as it is one of those dishes that gets elevated with butter - I don't like cheese in it. This is probably the best place to have bhaji pav in Rajkot. Not much for ambience but light years ahead in taste....

I love pav bhaji - there is something about the toasted bun, the spicy and tangy bhaji loaded with butter served with dungdi tameta nu kachumbar - chass and papad.
When I think of pav bhaji in Rajkot the first two names that come to my mind are Raju pavbhaji and Bhagat - both are institutions in their own right and have kept the same consistency in taste over the years.
So when the craving came - I was feeling lazy driving down all the way to cosmoplex to Raju Pavbhaji & Restaurant and headed to Bhagat. Bhagat has kept it simple - you dont go here for the ambiance - just the food, served fast, served fresh and absolutely yummy.
There is a secret to make out how much business a restaurant does - the freshness of the papads :) - restaurants hate to keep stock and order atleast once if not more per day. And papad being the go to munch in India, one gets an idea on how popular the restaurant is.

Road side sitting, but taste is always good from last 10-15 years. Service is fast. Thing is compromised with sitting arrangement,. Rate is comparatively reasonable.
