Really good Mutton Rice... Truly tasty, mutton curry with aloo purely heaven for Bengalis... Tast of "jhol"(curry) too yummy 😋😋😋😋

Food is very good. Quantity is also sufficient and worth it for the price. The environment is not up to the mark. Need some renovation. Bit old age type. But must try for everyone to visit the city. The special item is mutton, One can have it with Rice or with Rice thali.

A very popular name in ranchi maintaining its old world charm and serving good quality authentic bengali food for decades. Menu is limited and practical with Rohu Fish/ Mutton Gravy / Kidney Fry etc Portions are standard and service is extremely fast. The place is mostly cash only but they do accept cards. The entrance is not from the street side, but behind from back alley, so ask locals if you are unable to find it.

Food is delicious. Mutton plate full is so testy and reasonable price. Fish is also testy. Service is very good and helpful. I take my Lunch here today & enjoy my it. The owner is also very gentleman and with a smile. The hotel is very old one probably 1965. The first floor is renovated for dormetory accomodation.

The food was very delicious, especially mutton curry and Alu Posto. It is really enjoying to get authentic bengali food in outside Bengal. But the quantity of vegetable and dal they serve is more than enough to eat for one person. They should think to serve half portion of food for one person.

Best Mutton, chicken, fish and chingari jhol at affordable prices. Mutton 4 pcs @ 150, chicken 110. Chingri/prawn large 4 pcs @ 160. Wait time no longer than 15 to 20 mins on weekends. Good experience.

This is a paradise for Bengalis who want authentic bengali food at the most affordable rates. Fishes, mutton curry, all bhaja, chingri...are super...and at the lowest prices...A must for any food lover. I am highly impressed 👌

The entry gate is too mistirious... Unknown person will be filled like red light area.. but this is fully family restaurant. Inside, environment is very quite and silent. Everytime the hotel is full from fooder.

Not great ambience... Non ac... Very crowded during peak hours... Try to go lil early.... But amazing bengali veg n non veg food... Specially the mutton preparation is one of the best...

They have maintained a same standard over the years. Bengali foods available are tasty. Only thing they need to improve is their behavior with customers. Refurbishing of the interior is also required. They won't provide a single piece of onion unless you order for a plate of salad. They also don't prepare any dishes with egg. Roti is not available here. In short they are not customer friendly but food served here are tasty and fresh.

Today i ordered chicken curry...but i was really dissapointed. Chicken was not at all properly cleaned before cooking.Chiken feather was found in the body of chicken pieces which was so unhygenic to see.I am regular customer of india hotel but now i am loosing my intrest.

Good for bengali dishes only. Tried mutton curry and was utterly disappointed since it was no way near the one prepared at a mughlai restaurant. Fish preparations are excellent.

Well does this place needs an introduction...although it doesn't tastes as good as it used to be earlier... It's still good to fill ur tummy with mutton n those thin sliced Aaloo bhujia..<br/>3 stars

A very tasty homely food at this rate calls for 5star no doubt.its a place for them who actually enjoy food not the ambience.the service is very fast,exept the ambience everything is superb,must try steamed fish.

The restaurant's food at such price deserves 5 star, but I'll give 4 star because of the ambience. Chicken with rice was great. The restaurant is famous for Mutton with rice. My friend ate 'Aloo Jhinga Posto' and 'Sarso Rehu Fish' and she loved it. The pricing is so reasonable. Chicken with rice costed me only 90 Rupees and the quantity was great.

Jst called for giving my lunch order but the number given is a wrong number totally bad experience zomato should be responsible for this before it save a number 4 a hotel.

This is very old and famous restaurant in ranchi. Situated on the main road , besides Bank of baroda, near Manyavar showroom. Situated in the second floor of an old building, the entrance is from the back side of the building, not from the front. This restaurant is run by bengali people, Sitting area is small, around 50 people can be seated at a time, on sunday and holidays there will be long queue to enter this eatery. They serve only few items and those items taste like homemade food, nothing like restaurant food. When we visited there the available items were mutton curry, rice, dal, dhoka, alu vindi sabji, salad. Fish & chicken were not available. People mainly comes here to eat mutton chawal so we ordered the same with dhoka and cold drinks. The mutton curry contains 4 big & soft mutton pieces and a potato, the gravy tasted very nice. very pocket friendly, overall very satisfied with the homely food we had at the India hotel..

Excellent Bengali Food; specially Mutton dishes are best of the restaurant @ 110 only..<br/>Fish and Dhoka options are available as option at same mutton price!!!
