These are terrific family brand sweets from ratnagiri. Kesari pedha , gulkand barfi & kohale pak is there speciality. Be aware there is no parking. Pls park your car at least 300 metres away where road side parking is available. Also if there is a season then there are lots of mango shops adjacent to this shop. Enjoy...

One of the famous sweets shops in Ratnagiri. Apart from Pedha & Barfi, a sweet delicacy called Kohalepak is a must try. It is a kind of barfi made from a fruit known as Kohala with a distinct raste. My relatives always insist on it when they visit Ratnagiri.
Now Helekar Mithai has three outlets in Ratnagiri. One in the old bazar, one in the Mal Naka area & a new one in the Shivaji Nagar area on the main road.
