Pretty decent place.. food is great and the view is even greater... We ordered chotiwala special thaali and paav bhaaji.. 10/10 would recommend going there atleast once on your trip to rishikesh.

This place serves very good food with a very nice view of River Ganga. Service is good. Good place to dine with family. Must try if you're in Rishikesh.
Chotiwala by the Ganges is located very close to Ram Jhula parking lot. Ambience inside is very great.

Good food, but avg service and ambience. They should include more street food items than a proper dine in place.
The staff is very supportive and quick service. The food taste is good. The paneer tikka masala was very good. Other things were okay. It was my first time here so have no reference to compare but food was good compared to normal restaurant. The waiting area is also large so you don't have to wait in queue. Overall a very good restaurant.

During our 2 day weekend visit to rishikesh we went to Chotiwala multiple times for our lunch.
Restaurant was almost full both the times. But we got seat.
We had their special thali, chaas, rasmalai, kheer.
Quality of food was good, especially sweet dishes. We really like rasmalai and kheer.

We only could try thali. We shared the thali between 2 of us and the restaurant did not have any issues. Very tasty food served fast by friendly staff.
