We have frequented this hotel as a Salemite for a couple decades 1980s and 1990s. Hence it is a nostalgia. Importantly, run well by a Keralite food Quality is good. No AC. Go for some excellent breakfast ! Idly, dosa with some awesome chutneys. Pongal is as good as it gets ! Always crowded ! Grab your food on a banana plantain , ambience is of a dhaba or a mess which it is but food is great !
The food what they prepare and serving manner everthing is so good and nice . They have plenty of veg food dishes @ reasonable price. Its located nearby the salem town railway station. Easy to grab food nd ha it.
Good food, good taste but over crowded.
One of the oldest restaurant in Salem. Their Sambar Vadai is lip-smacking. So as their Ven Pongal and Sakkrai Pongal. You are lucky if you get a seat for breakfast on weekends, without waiting. Don't expect much in terms of ambience. Parking is on the Roadside.
Very nostalgic. 15 years before I had my dinner.. Now again. Very unique taste. Hygienic. Different variety. Ghee podi dosa must try.. One of the food icons of salem. Still take home crowd is very high. Quality wins.
