Review Cafe Simla Times - Shimla

Fine dining ambience overlooking the beautiful cascading hill of Shimla city. Their food is deliciously done. The decor is subtle, yet elegant. I tried their Chicken steak in red wine sauce, and it was lip-smacking yummy. Price are on the higher side, charged for the ambience. Shimla has very rare such restaurants, and this is a cherry-topping one.

Found this place through google and visited it during my free time, loved the vibe and view from this place. The server was very sweet and did not bother again and again for order but he let me sit peacefully with my order and enjoy the view. This is quite rare in such places. Great hospitality and service along with a good view. I was here in afternoon so cafe and bar was relatively empty so i enjoyed sitting here for a long time. Must visit when in Shimla.

What a sweet place to spend winters! Enjoyed my time here… a well done up place.. quite central on mall itself.. their food was yummy .. I enjoyed my meal and def would love to visit super soon ! The pizza is magic ! 👌💛

Visited Shimla for the first time and absolutely loved the vibe here, with of course the amazing mountain view😍 We ordered pizza, pasta and milkshakes to go along. The taste was mind blowing, literally fell in love with the cheesy pasta 🤤 Pizza had a thin crust and mouthwatering toppings. 😍👌🏻 We also absolutely loved the ambience at night with those musical twists. 😌 Also, thumps up for the fact that it's right on the mall road👍🏻

Soothing Ambience, Excellent Service but Average food! Even though the variety at Cafe Shimla Times is diverse, the taste of even basic appetizers, and salads is on the decline. Salt is on the higher side. Authenticity is not to be found. A tad bit overrated owing to its vivacious vibe.

Absolutely loved the place. We had the best seats in Shimla. Should be part of your shimla trip. The food, beer, ambiance everything was great.

Love the atmosphere here! The food and drinks are priced slightly on the upper side, but understandably so because it's a part of a hotel establishment.

On my prev visit to Shimla, I saw live singing and felt great vibes there..so I decide to explore this cafe. The place is lively and crowded after 7 PM. The staff is courteous but the service is slow. I waited for several minutes for my food and when I asked for the bill, everyone was super busy to give me the bill. It is a nice place to chill and have good time with lesser crowd. If you go there on a Sat or sun evening, be ready to wait for your order to come. The cafe is aesthetic and they also have an upper deck for seating which is lovely. The location of this cafe is superb, you can reach here easily as it is on the mall road itself. View from the cafe is beautiful. The prices are a bit on the higher side and the quality of food is average.

A cafe with great ambience. Prices are reasonable and food was pretty good too but giving 3 stars only because of the unprofessional staff. Visited this cafe again after so long only because my sister insisted and this time my experience was far better. The staff was polite and the service was fast unlike the last time. We ordered coffee, Blueberry cheese cake and hummus & pita. This time I liked the behaviour of the staff and their fast service so giving one more star.

The ambience is good. Well decorated, tasteful place. Beer served there is really awesome. There’s lots of scope to improve food taste and quality. Little pricier. Overall it’s a good place with good city view.

Cafe Simla Times is a place to be for leisure afternoons and sundowners with exquisite delicacies and great ambience. Have always enjoyed being here with Gaurav Karan Singh Lamba and Tanya. Great place ... must visit.

Didn't have food there, but did have there home brewed beer, which was really nice. I loved the fact that they had developed their own flavours and the location and vibe of the cafe was really nice. Did seem a little pricy to me, but that's just my opinion.

A pleasant and whimsical place in the the laps of the hills with stunning views and ambience. Beautiful place located at Mall Road, Shimla. Loved the drinks and food out there along with mesmerising atmosphere of the the valley. Highly recommended!!

The food was amazing. We ordered fish tikka, spicy chic pizza with jalapenos and chic chilli. We also had Mango and Apple cider beer which were to die for. It's pretty busy though so getting seats are difficult.

This cafe is so beautiful & insta worthy. The view from here is best. You can experience the sunset while looking at the shimla town from here. They also have huka bar at 1st floor where entry with kids are not allowed. They also serve fresh beer. The food also very delicious. We celebrated our daughter's bday here. This was my second visit to cafe shimla times. When we visited shimla 8 years ago that time also we had dinner here only. That time the vibe was so different & it was looking so beautiful.

Great view and a very good ambience in the heart of the city. Loved the vibe of this cafe. They have a lot of food options and loved almost everything that we ordered. The sandwich was however just okay. They have many seating options and looks like the place is full most of the time. Their service was a bit late. So, it is a great place if you want to chill and enjoy the vibe.

I'd got the evening tea there once. So stunning with the sunset view. Then i come back again for dinner. It was such a great meal with someone special. Good food... Nice wine... No live music though... Simply all!

Great ambience.. Most probably the best view in shimla over looking the town specially if you like open air joints, comes to life after sunset n when the buildings, houses below are lit up. Good music.. Food is slightly expensive and drinks will kill you. The only downside is located where Mall road ends.so you might hv to walk a long way to reach here shd u come from vidhan sabha side.can fake the lift which will tk u close to Sol lounge.. I have been to the cafe on 24th December,2016 and was just mesmerised by the ambience.There was live music and the band was just awesome. Coming to the food we ordered a fish preparation alongwith pasta and chicken soup.Believe me this was the best soup I had in Shimla so far.All other dishes were also delicious. The staff was very cordial. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. As per me, this is one of the best cafe in Shimla and there could be no better place to spend the Xmas Eve!!

Very chic cafe/bar. Lovely ambience and stunning views (from the outdoor seating, with an angeethi to comfort you if you go there for dinner). Absolutely yummy pizzas from their wood fired oven and you can savour them while soaking in the views and the weather and listening to some very tastefully chosen music. So, this one is a multi sensory treat - loved it!!

I went to this place again as it was great the last time. But have to say that it was an awful experience. I waited for almost an hour for someone to take an order... no one was bothered. And then when someone came, he said they are not serving any beverages... and i saw people sitting next to me having mojitis beer and iced teas of the world. I questioned and the staff said they can't serve as they are closing their financial year... beyond my understanding.. Terrible staff and poor customer experience.. Simla times - you lost loyal customers today I wish the owners were there..the people who started this place with fresh energy and were working to delight the customers.

Amazing food with amazing view! All their dishes were spot on... Thin crust pizzas, Spicy Mexican Fajitas and Chocolate Fondant... All high on yum quotient... Clubbed with great service

I visited in the last week of May this year with my brother n daughter and the experience was par excellence.. The food, quality, service...fantastic... we had ordered wood fired pizza, pasta along with some beer... great ...

Just loved the place, food, staff and not to mention the band "the blues valley".. they have great music.. I was there with my soul sister on 26 and 27 December ... And that eve was something else.. we were like totally mesmerized by the aura...�..

Pathetic staff, pathetic service, Rates are so very high, hospitality is zero. Menu is very very limited not at all good for Family sittings. If u ask for sandwich and kathi roll they wil say no they dont have. Would not recommend gd pple to go thr.

But my suggestion - Bar need improvement.. Very limited stock.. I was looking for My favorite Irish brand Jemsen.. Unfortunately they don't serve that... So I ordered Mojito, but it was very sweet and there was no taste of baccardi in that probably rum was very less in the drink .. I asked the bartender but he could not help.. � Bar was not organized well too ...

The location is fantastic and the view is refreshing! But I’ve never tasted anything extraordinary from the kitchen. However that’s my personal preference. Having drinks with that view and the live music during tourist season makes up for everything this place lacks in terms of taste!

The food here was tempting. Everything I ordered was so so good felt like I was in paradise. Excellent food and brilliant views to match. Must try their caesar salad, chicken lovers pizza and mojito with fresh and flavourful hill-grown mint!

Handsdown the most calm and soothing place we visited in Shimla - you can just come here and relax. Can work here too, they have a good wifi. Or else you can grab a book from their rack and sit and read and enjoy the view. The food is super amazing from shakes to coffees to burgers to sandwiches. Its all perfect. A must visit!

A lovely, pleasing, quaint decor - this cafe is without doubt the most beautiful eatery you will come by in Shimla. There is always a waiting here in evenings, but the food and the place is worth the wait. Ideal for clicking great pics for insta. Its a large restaurant, with indoor and outdoor seating. The service takes come time though but the staff is sweet. Food was exceptional! What we had - Cheesy garlic bread, Pasta aglio olio, Mutton seekh pizza, Mojito and Tiramisu. Loved it!

Great food - Must not miss!<br/>Went here with a group of friends on our last trip to Shimla. Although we didn't have a reservation they quickly pulled together tables to allow our party of 8 to sit down.There is a good choice on the drinks menu - beers, spirits and cocktails. <br/>We had a good selection of 3 starters - Chicken satey, prawn poppers and pizza. We followed that up with the server's recommendation - the Sea food pasta aglio olio and also tried the Thai curry. The food and service was great and made our evening absolutely memorable!

Such a cute little cafe. Well situated, super central. Accessible from the mall. Great food, soulful music and a nice vibe. Their cocktails are the highlight- potent and innovative. Loved the time spent here. Will surely visit again when in Shimla.

Not worth at all. <br/>No music on terrace and non cooperative staff. <br/>They dont know how to make cocktails. We ordered gin and tonic and what they gave was lime soda and when we complained they were like You dont know what it actually is!

The cafe has a very nice ambience, pleasant aroma and soft music in backdrop . Such courteous staff, recommended us good dishes to try. Chilled Oreo shake and Irish coffee were my favourite being a coffee lover. Love the decor of the place too. It’s my must go to place of all times now

My fav ! Great food, good ambience and super music. The live band is just amazing. It’s a one of its kind place in Shimla. What’s great about this place- it has mixed cuisine and all kinds of people come over here. Youngsters, families and couples. The menu offers a good range of dishes- some italian some American . I had their chicken livers pizza and I loved it. Their sea food aglio olio pasta I loved. They had good authentic Irish coffee, which was amazing.

Cafe is such a nice fun place. Chill scene totally . Located bang on the Mall Road. Five mins walking from tourism lift. It’s a nice place for youngsters to hang out. Great classy crowd. And superb food. Chicken satey and seekh kebab pizza was yum. The decor is done up with shimla art. Walls have shimla places painted. Nicely done.Service staff was nice and helpful.

This cafe is so nice!! It’s so pretty... lovely ambience done up with lights. A small little garden as sitting area. I can sit here for hours and enjoy music. They have sufi singers who come in evenings. It’s just so dreamy. Hills music and superb food. Great menu. Good variety of snacks and main course. Pizzas are great. The shakes are phenomenal. The oreo shake and kit kat one- yummy!!! We ordered kathi rolls n burger also. Too good!!

The ambience is cute, they have a prominent bar and the view is to die for!<br/>Coming to Food we Ordered:<br/>Pizza Chicken lovers : Looked great, was loaded with toppings and cheese melted in the mouth. Totally recommended.<br/>Red Thai curry chicken: Perfectly spiced and a big portion suitable for the two of us. Came with rice and salad.<br/>Drinks: We had their Mojito and a Banoffie shake. I have heard alot about this place and to everybody's surprise, i have been to shimla many times but never explored this beauty !<br/><br/>So it is all filmy where it all starts with hassle and obstacles but ends perfectly. There was all around snow in Shimla and it was -2degree. Everybody wanted to sit wherever they could stop nearby and i had this cafe in my mind.<br/><br/>Finally reached this lovely place. Started with hot beverages where we ordered different coffees. It was apt, served in good sized cups and the aroma of the coffe was apt ! Started with food. Ordered - Grilled chicken in oyester sauce, grilled chicken in red wine sauce, chicken penne, Green thai curry with rice, honey chilly potato, grilled chicken skewers, fish n chips and veg exotic pizza. Every dish was worth it. I will be biased if i choose few of my fav over here but grilled chicken dishes were amazing. Fulfilling, soft chicken, tender and tempting.<br/><br/>A must must visit !

The place receives ample sunshine. It's a good place to relax and has a good view of Shimla. The beverages aren't that great. Food was also average. I went their with high expectations but the food was very normal. The chicken tikka was good though

Loved this cafe and especially the decor which is the first thing I noticed as I entered. A perfect place to click pictires. The vintage car will surely attract you. I had an amazing lunch. The food was so yum and the view from the cafe is breathtaking. Its the most happening place you'll find in this town.

Very good cafe in Shimla.

The service staff was friendly and recommended good food, along with the view and open air interiors the meal experience is heightened. The American cuisine and pasta are a must have although the pizza is avoidable. Cold beers on a cold sunny day make a refreshing combination. Meals can be shared between two people and overall the price seems worth the experience.

Cafe Simla times is the place to be at. Super music. Yumm food and best vibe ever. Always a party mode at night. Live music and amazing drinks. The seekh kebab pizza, satey , prawn poppers and chicken tikka were awesome. Yummy. We were a group of friends tripping in Shimla for a boys trip and all of us really loved the place. By far the best place I have come across in the whole of town. Located right on the mall road. But still feels distant from the hustle bustle. Has its own charm. Soothing music, live band and the view is just phenomenal. Really nice. It’s a part of Hotel Willow banks, and is packed with youngsters and good crowd. They have a vast range of dishes, continental, Indian , Italian, Lebanese etc. . The kitkat and snickers shake is wow! You will love it. They have some delicious desserts too- like chocolate rum mousse and tiramisu. Very enjoyable meal and place.

Visited this cafe on a FridayEvening and it was really buzzing and had a great vibe. We had the Mezze shawarma platter with Chicken grilled and also had the Paneer tikka Kathi roll it had a little smoky touch and tasted amazing, all this was topped awesomely well with a Mojito with was very minty fresh and well made. So all the items are for sure recommended.!

This is my fav restaurant in Shimla. Have gone across the Mall Road, but no place compares to this. I spent two day’s just coming here and eating meals here. Good variety. Service was quick and the best of all the scenery was beautiful. Just gorgeous. You can even see the church far at a distance. This is view point in Shimla. I liked their burgers, especially Mexican fruit salsa burger. Pizzas are wood fired, and very tasty too. Nice interesting drinks like Irish coffee, made by the bartender. I will love to home here again when I happen to visit this town again

Great hang out joint. Pretty fun vibe. Has nice ambience. Music playing around, food is great and amazing scenery. Their cocktails are very fancy and good. I also really enjoyed their shawarma and pizza. Chocolate mud mousse was delicious.

My favourite place. Sit in the lap of the hills and enjoy a nice kiwi martini. They have some really tasty cocktails and also the best pizzas in town. I loved the seekh Kebab pizza. Loved this beautiful cafe with sit out and sit in options. The weather was perfect and we actually did both! Food was a lil expensive but the portion sizes were amazing. We tried the Dijon chicken salad, Mexican fruit salsa burger and Bombay sandwich. Food was excellent. And the view and music made the afternoon really memorable. Will be back!

This is probably the best place to have dinner in Shimla. They have an option of bright indoor seating and classy outdoor seatings. They have live music in the evenings. They serve delicious drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic ones. Their lemon grilled fish was the star of the night!

This place was my favourite in shimla. We went the first time on a friends recco but ended up going and staying many hours even on the next day. Tried the pizzas and the Indian and all preparations were awesome. Staff was helpful and willing to go out of their way. Drinks were nice though a bit pricey. But the ambience and view just made the visit to the place magical! Especially so on the day it snowed. Must try with family and friends

The best cafe I discovered in Shimla. I had the best pizza of life and view from the place added to the flavours. Anyone traveling to Shimla to visit Simla times and try their Pizza. They serve the best.

One of the best meals we had in shimla. Had heard about the place from friends and the place certainly lived upto our expectations. The food was just amazing! We ordered a pepperoni pizza 5/5 (better than many places in delhi), thai curry red with chicken 4/5, wok tossed cottage cheese 3.5/5, chicken satay with peanut sauce 4/5 and the tiramisu was a sure 5/5! 86 was definitely a place worth going to. Seating was cozy and comfortable and the view was just perfect. Prices were a bit high but later we realized the quantity of each dish was large enough. Good for one famished would or two normally hungry folks. Would love to go back!

I ordered a portion of nachos. It was a pack of doritos!!! With a splash of cream and veggies thrown about. Absolutely did not expect or appreciate to get that for the price point it was sold at!!!

This was my first visit to this place and I am sure that I will regret going here all my life, the reason why I have given it 1 star is because there was no rating less than it.<br/>The most uncourteous staff who thinks of the costumers as their childhood buddies and literally dictates them to sit and stand as per their own convenience. Starting from making us change our seat from where we were sitting to literally making us wait for almost 30 minutes before coming to take our order.<br/>The food was atrocious and so was the quantity, the pizza we ordered was bland but I must commend the cooks for making it up by adding more salt to our chicken tikka, the salad on the plate was more than the quantity of the cold chicken that we were served.<br/>In all this was the worst experience that I've ever had in my life and if possible I would strongly recommend to avoid it, if you can, the place is too overpriced and overhyped but trust me, my review isn't.

One of the best in Shimla<br/>If there’s just one place you can visit while in Shimla choose Cafe Simla Times over others. Just walk in and you’ll realise you’ve come to a happy place. For starters, the view is brilliant. We went in at afternoon time and stayed on till sunset and that looked spectacular. We tried quite a few dishes and my favourites were the cottage cheese and veg poppers, the club sandwich and the Kit Kat shake. Good presentation and food tasted great. They have a bar too but we didn’t end up trying the alcoholic drinks. The place is the best way to experience the sights, smells, sounds and food of shimla !

A magically mesmerizing place in the lap of Shimla. The place is naturally blessed with the nature's beauty. The interiors of the place are equally nice. The live music being played at the background adds cherry on the cake!<br/><br/>We took Chicken Spaghetti pasta which was not at all good.<br/>Hot chocolate and latte was delicious but the waiter spoiled it by spilling it while serving.<br/>Wood fired pizza was really good and delicious.<br/>Chicken Shawarma was pathetic which ruined my vibe and experience of the place as it was all dry and didn't taste like a shawarma!

Almost a magical site on the hills, the outside seating area offers a beautiful view of the glimmering lights of the city, in a chilly evening, a coffee+ that view is good enough to make any evening worth remembering.<br/>The interior of the cafe is also fabulous, offers wide variety of food and drinks. We had a cappuccino, honey chilli potato and a pizza and all of them were really good. The ambience overshadows the food quality because of the natural effect that shimla is gifted with.<br/>Special mentions:- honey chilli potato, apple crumble.♥️♥️

Located adjacent to the 'Willow Banks' at the Mall Road of Shimla, this place is bearing the flag of Shimla's cafe culture high! It is a beautifully decorated cafe with warm lights and hanging bird cages.The vintage car at the entrance brings a colonial vibe to the place. It has two sections. The glass covered indoor section has a big projector where live mathces are screened. But the charm lies at the outside terrace. It offers magnificent view of the Shimla city and the snow capped mountains embracing it.You might get so carried away by the ambience that you forget to order unless someone comes and asks for it :D. We were there in the evening and the place was fully occupied by some chic young crowd. The live music was really good. It elevated the atmosphere to just another level!<br/>Now the food~ we had fish and chips and chicken in red wine sauce. The chicken was succulent and delicious. However,the fish was extremely smelly and undercooked. I loved the super crispy potato wedges and the mashed peas that came along with it though! I'll suggest that don't go for any kind of fish and order something else from the rest of the menu. You will be fine! I hear that their pizzas are lip-smacking. The prices are a little bit on the higher side if you think of a cafe menu, but the bountiful amount they provide for the price totally makes up for it!<br/>If you are in Shimla,please visit the place at least once. Really an amazing place! It was an absolute delight to visit here . ❤️ Specially at night time with the entire city lights view.<br/>The whole ambience is very pretty! Also the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this place to be visited atleast once if you visit shimla.

Location is good. Especially on a sunny day to sit outside. The pizza is great and I love the paintings on the wall. Friendly staff as always.

This popular tourist destination has a great view of the city from above, making it difficult to grab a seat for dinner. This place also serves continental favorites as well as Indian. For dinner one evening, I had some paneer tikka to snack on, which was massive in size. I ended up taking much of it home. I came back for chai and chocolate lava cake, which was great. The cake was filled with melted chocolate, making it one of a kind. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and did their best to serve as soon as possible. I highly recommend visiting during the day when the restaurant is empty, all of Shimla easily seen from the terrace.

Cafe Shimla Times is the amazing place to calmly sit and watch Shimla moving on its own pace. The cafe situated at the cliff, gives you the infinity space view. Just go there to find out how it feels. Words are not enough..

I still remember the teeth shattering chilly afternoon of November when we arrived in Shimla. A beautiful, gem of a hill station filled with immense positivity. As we came by road from Jalandhar, we (me and my mother) could use very less of that positivity with hunger in our stomach. Fired up Zomato and the first restro bar which caught my attention was this place and I am glad it did.<br/>Awestruck ambience.<br/>Reason why we ended up visiting twice, the second time in the evening to catch the lovely live music (wish zomato would let me attach a video) and the night view of the valley (attached).<br/>We ordered :<br/>Pepperoni Pizza. Beautiful dough, crispy crust, spicy crisp pepperonis on top and just enough cheese. Quantity was enough for two and the quality was fulfilling for the soul.<br/>Peri peri grilled chicken platter.<br/>Well what I liked more in these platter were the vegetables and the jus more than the chicken itself. From what I can recall, the chicken wasn't that spicy (for all you peri peri fans), instead it was on the tangy side which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Overall value for money.<br/>We ordered some brandy with lukewarm water and honey. Believe me you would need it.<br/>Service was very good and fluent, nothing negative regarding that as well. Though it has lift it still is little bit of a climb but that would add up to your hunger.<br/>100% recommended.<br/><br/>

Very very nice place. We stayed in the hotel which the cafe is a part of and the food here is too good. Kudos to the chef however I felt the service was a little slow and waiters were not very active.

Another cafe that I visited on trot after The Brew Estate. Cafe Simla Times justifies it's high Zomato rating.<br/><br/>Ambiance is good and so was service. We also got to cherish live music. The band performing there was awesome and they set up an electrifying atmosphere. We ordered wood fired thin crust Veg Exotica Pizza and it was too good. The view that it offers of the valley is superb.<br/><br/>What more one can ask for: good food, music, view and Shimla's weather.

Must visit for travellers who love to enjoy live music,amazing food with a view. Price a little high but this place is a must try when in shimla. Great ambience as well

Love the ambience and the food. Great place to go with a family or group when you need to cater to variety. My favourite was the pasta and pizzas though the burgers were also pretty good.

The cafe is very pretty and at a very good location. The view is amazing from here. We ordered pizza, white sauce pasta, beer and brownie with icecream. The pasta and brownie were very good but the pizza could be improved.<br/>The food is fairly priced. Overall it was a good visit. I would recommend this cafe atleast once to everyone who visits Shimla, primarily for the view.

We visited this outlet when we were holidaying in Shimla. This outlet is located on the Mall Road itself and is crowded heavily. We had our dinner twice at this outlet. A live band was playing which added to the awesomeness of the ambience and view of the restaurant. We ordered Barbecue Chicken Wings and Chicken Salt & Pepper in Starter. The taste was good and quantity was sufficient for two people. We ordered Peri Peri Grilled Chicken on Skewers and Grilled Chicken with Red Wine Sauce in Main. It had a unique taste. It's a must visit place when you are in Shimla.

What an amazing view, totally took my breath away. Food was good, we had white sauce pasta and one paneer meal, outdoor seating is amazing. 1 extra star for the view only.

This pretty cafe located on the Mall Road is the perfect place for a group of friends to chill in the evenings - Great cafe ambience, delicious food, well-made cocktails- all this with a breathtaking view of the city. We tried their pizzas, mixed sauce pasta and grilled chicken, and none of these items disappointed us. Additionally, they make amazing cocktails - we really loved Whiskey sour and LIIT. There is a scope of improvement in the service and the variety / availability of dessert items. Nonetheless we visited this place two days in a row and had a wonderful time. <br/><br/>Undoubtedly, the most happening cafe in Shimla currently. Must visit at least once.

Cafe Simla times on the mall in shimla is a place I would so love to go back to! <br/>We went here for lunch and so glad that we did. The place is beautiful surrounded by mountains on all sides and the weather was amazing too. The place had such a happy vibe that we just fell in love with it at the first look. We ordered a pasta aglio olio, Mexican chicken burger with fruit salsa and garlic bread. The dishes came soon and all tasted perfect. The pasta especially was especially delicious and one of the best I’ve actually eaten ever. The fruit salsa added a zing to the burger and elevated the taste of the overall dish. Apple crumble and tiramisu were a great way to wrap up the meal. All in all one amazing dining experience.

This place is really nice and you might feel mouth watering for every dish. Great ambience, Loved the chicken as well. I would love to recommend this place, If you're in Shimla. Theme is perfectly defined.

Awesome cafe located on the mall road. Live band is amazing. The food is very tasty. Pizza was very yumm n a must try. Past too was good. I loved the chicken as well. Best time to visit the cafe is at night because cool breeze with the live music and live match playing by your side will make your day. If you are in shimla, do visit this cafe.

Incredible place with great drinks and food. A must visit place if you are visiting Shimla. Live music is fantastic and the soul of the place. The food is good and there is a lot of variety in their menu. The cocktails were also good. The service is excellent as well and the staff will serve you with a broad smile.

It's such a welcome change from the run of the mill places. Cafe has the most amazing decor -the art, books, outdoor seating. staff is friendly and food is great. My pick is the desserts. Especially apple crumble!

I had heard about this cafe from many. Known as the best cafe in Shimla and the minute I entered I believed it. This Cafe has amazing decor, they have a vintage car outside, an outdoor seating from where you can see the whole city and its located at the Mall Road very close to the lift.<br/><br/>Could not have asked for a better place here.<br/><br/>I fell in the love with the view. And nothing else mattered. I could have sat here for hours.<br/>Had the following :<br/>Cappuccino , Hot Chocolate , Masala Chai , Simla Times Club Sandwich and Warm Apple Crumble.<br/><br/>Shipping a hot cappuccino or Chai with that view is an amazing feeling.<br/>The sandwich was pretty filling .<br/>Loved the apple crumble, had apple coated in cinnamon powder served in a pie.<br/><br/>Love the place and it's a must visit if you are in Shimla especially if you love clicking pictures

Cafe Shimla times was on my list from a long time and the view from this place is breathtaking all the points goes to the view and staff serving so happily<br/><br/>But the prices are on higher side we paid around 700+ for one shake and lasagne which was very less quantity wise also !<br/><br/>Still I'll recommend you to go there this place is going to give you a very serene view of Shimla which you can't afford to miss<br/>So grab a cup of coffee or any drink and sit there talk to your loved ones ! 😍🥰<br/><br/>Taste was good but portion was less!<br/><br/>Images added already<br/>Do check

Ambiance was really great and location is perfect for date..😉<br/>Staffs were friendly and service was really quick.<br/>We ordered aromatic buttered prawns and cream of chicken soup with garlic bread. Foods were so good.

To reach this cafe we had to park our car in the parking lot and climb few stairs uphills.. as we had no idea about it so it took us time to reach there.. weather was great so we decided to sit outdoor over drinks.. we were quick to order as place was about to shut.. it has a beautiful outdoor with small bar.. we ordered pizza and dal makhani platter.. the food was really good..we had to shift indoor as they had to close the outdoor area.. the staff was really courteous to wait for us to finish the food.. must visit when in shimla.. recommended!!!

Ambience of the place is good though the service is bad though, water had not been served and order had not been taken properly. The food was average but the view from the cafe was worth it.

Shimla is finally catching up with the cafe culture present all over india and this place is probably the best cafe to spend your time in Shimla. It has a very quirky ambience, attentive service and great food. The views from the place is die for and when we were there they had a live band playing. Often crowded with tourist its very difficult to get a table. We had chilli paneer, thai green curry and hakka noodles all stood up to the expectation.

The best place with very peaceful ambience. Most importantly, the taste of the food is fantastic and I love the pizzas, shakes and breads here. Also, the music is quite good.

Shimla is now the host of one of the best Cafe, Cafe Shimla Times. It is beautifully decorated and maintained and offers such breathtaking view of the city.<br/>Visited their for brunch and ordered Simla Club Sandwich and Penne Pasta with Mushrooms and Olives. Both of them tasted really good.<br/>It's such a peaceful place and also is crowded most of the time and getting a seat is somewhat difficult on a weekend.<br/>I would prefer one visiting Shimla to must try this place for some lip-smacking food.

On the mall road. Hakka noodles Chinese vegetables meal was just above the average but not exceptional.<br/><br/>Apple cinnamon tart with ice cream was a good choice.<br/><br/>They prepare nicely but lack something taste wise.<br/><br/>Nice ambiance. Spacious lounge.

Situated right on the bustling Mall road, Cafe Simla Times is a cozy yet lively little cafe with funky wall art, some good variety of dishes & overlooking an absolutely splendid view of the Shimla valley!<br/><br/>We ordered some hot & sour soup and Lemon & thyme stuffed mushrooms to start with. The soup was ok, would have liked it steaming hot for a cold rainy day such as the one that day. The mushrooms were crunchy & tasty.<br/><br/>We then tried their main courses -<br/>1. Mexican fajita with Mexican style cottage cheese, sour cream & salsa - this had oodles of flavor, the paneer done especially well<br/>2. Cottage cheese steak - Tasty dish of paneer with delicious sides of sauteed veggies seasoned with oregano, mashed potatoes, garlic bread & extra helpings of tomato basil sauce<br/>3. Piri piri chicken skewers with buttered rice & sauce - Perfectly grilled chicken with extra sauce, sauteed veggies & rice to go with it.<br/><br/>All the main dishes were good & generous in terms of quantity. Service was quick & ambience welcoming & pleasant.<br/><br/>Overall rating: 4.5 :)<br/><br/>
