Then i come back again for dinner.
It was such a great meal with someone special.

I have been to the cafe on 24th December,2016 and was just mesmerised by the ambience.There was live music and the band was just awesome. Coming to the food we ordered a fish preparation alongwith pasta and chicken soup.Believe me this was the best soup I had in Shimla so far.All other dishes were also delicious. The staff was very cordial. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. As per me, this is one of the best cafe in Shimla and there could be no better place to spend the Xmas Eve!!
The food here was tempting. Everything I ordered was so so good felt like I was in paradise. Excellent food and brilliant views to match. Must try their caesar salad, chicken lovers pizza and mojito with fresh and flavourful hill-grown mint!
Handsdown the most calm and soothing place we visited in Shimla - you can just come here and relax. Can work here too, they have a good wifi. Or else you can grab a book from their rack and sit and read and enjoy the view. The food is super amazing from shakes to coffees to burgers to sandwiches. Its all perfect. A must visit!

This cafe in Shimla was an excellent combination of good food and ambience which is usually very hard to find!
The best part is the relaxed vibe, awesome view, terrace seating and funky lighting.
Had great coffee and conversation alongside a yummy pizza and Italian meat sandwich.
The staff deserves a special mention. Very polite and always smiling.

A lovely, pleasing, quaint decor - this cafe is without doubt the most beautiful eatery you will come by in Shimla. There is always a waiting here in evenings, but the food and the place is worth the wait. Ideal for clicking great pics for insta. Its a large restaurant, with indoor and outdoor seating. The service takes come time though but the staff is sweet. Food was exceptional! What we had - Cheesy garlic bread, Pasta aglio olio, Mutton seekh pizza, Mojito and Tiramisu. Loved it!
Great food - Must not miss!
Went here with a group of friends on our last trip to Shimla. Although we didn't have a reservation they quickly pulled together tables to allow our party of 8 to sit down.There is a good choice on the drinks menu - beers, spirits and cocktails.
We had a good selection of 3 starters - Chicken satey, prawn poppers and pizza. We followed that up with the server's recommendation - the Sea food pasta aglio olio and also tried the Thai curry. The food and service was great and made our evening absolutely memorable!
Such a cute little cafe. Well situated, super central. Accessible from the mall. Great food, soulful music and a nice vibe. Their cocktails are the highlight- potent and innovative. Loved the time spent here. Will surely visit again when in Shimla.
The cafe has a very nice ambience, pleasant aroma and soft music in backdrop . Such courteous staff, recommended us good dishes to try. Chilled Oreo shake and Irish coffee were my favourite being a coffee lover. Love the decor of the place too. It’s my must go to place of all times now
My fav ! Great food, good ambience and super music. The live band is just amazing. It’s a one of its kind place in Shimla. What’s great about this place- it has mixed cuisine and all kinds of people come over here. Youngsters, families and couples. The menu offers a good range of dishes- some italian some American . I had their chicken livers pizza and I loved it. Their sea food aglio olio pasta I loved. They had good authentic Irish coffee, which was amazing.
Cafe is such a nice fun place. Chill scene totally . Located bang on the Mall Road. Five mins walking from tourism lift. It’s a nice place for youngsters to hang out. Great classy crowd. And superb food. Chicken satey and seekh kebab pizza was yum. The decor is done up with shimla art. Walls have shimla places painted. Nicely done.Service staff was nice and helpful.
This cafe is so nice!! It’s so pretty... lovely ambience done up with lights. A small little garden as sitting area. I can sit here for hours and enjoy music. They have sufi singers who come in evenings. It’s just so dreamy. Hills music and superb food. Great menu. Good variety of snacks and main course. Pizzas are great. The shakes are phenomenal. The oreo shake and kit kat one- yummy!!! We ordered kathi rolls n burger also. Too good!!
Fine dining ambience overlooking the beautiful cascading hill of Shimla city. Their food is deliciously done. The decor is subtle, yet elegant.
I tried their Chicken steak in red wine sauce, and it was lip-smacking yummy.
Price are on the higher side, charged for the ambience. Shimla has very rare such restaurants, and this is a cherry-topping one.
Found this place through google and visited it during my free time, loved the vibe and view from this place. The server was very sweet and did not bother again and again for order but he let me sit peacefully with my order and enjoy the view. This is quite rare in such places. Great hospitality and service along with a good view. I was here in afternoon so cafe and bar was relatively empty so i enjoyed sitting here for a long time. Must visit when in Shimla.
What a sweet place to spend winters! Enjoyed my time here… a well done up place.. quite central on mall itself.. their food was yummy .. I enjoyed my meal and def would love to visit super soon ! The pizza is magic ! 👌💛
Visited Shimla for the first time and absolutely loved the vibe here, with of course the amazing mountain view😍

The taste was mind blowing, literally fell in love with the cheesy pasta 🤤
Pizza had a thin crust and mouthwatering toppings. 😍👌🏻
We also absolutely loved the ambience at night with those musical twists. 😌

Soothing Ambience, Excellent Service but Average food!
Even though the variety at Cafe Shimla Times is diverse, the taste of even basic appetizers, and salads is on the decline.
Salt is on the higher side.
Authenticity is not to be found.
A tad bit overrated owing to its vivacious vibe.
Absolutely loved the place. We had the best seats in Shimla. Should be part of your shimla trip. The food, beer, ambiance everything was great.
Love the atmosphere here! The food and drinks are priced slightly on the upper side, but understandably so because it's a part of a hotel establishment.
On my prev visit to Shimla, I saw live singing and felt great vibes there..so I decide to explore this cafe.
The place is lively and crowded after 7 PM.
The staff is courteous but the service is slow.
I waited for several minutes for my food and when I asked for the bill, everyone was super busy to give me the bill.
It is a nice place to chill and have good time with lesser crowd. If you go there on a Sat or sun evening, be ready to wait for your order to come.
The cafe is aesthetic and they also have an upper deck for seating which is lovely.
The location of this cafe is superb, you can reach here easily as it is on the mall road itself. View from the cafe is beautiful.

A cafe with great ambience. Prices are reasonable and food was pretty good too but giving 3 stars only because of the unprofessional staff.
Visited this cafe again after so long only because my sister insisted and this time my experience was far better. The staff was polite and the service was fast unlike the last time. We ordered coffee, Blueberry cheese cake and hummus & pita.
This time I liked the behaviour of the staff and their fast service so giving one more star.
The ambience is good. Well decorated, tasteful place. Beer served there is really awesome. There’s lots of scope to improve food taste and quality. Little pricier. Overall it’s a good place with good city view.
