Only certain snacks like Momos and Hotdogs are available till 1PM. Tea and Coffee are available throughout the day. Momos were Ok. Hotdogs were fresh and juicy. Tea and coffee were both good. Prices are on higher side. There is a small and old seating area after the entrance which then opens up to a larger section on right with additional floor above it.

Basic place and food , the one who are pure vegetarian and do not even like the smell of non veg please avoid sitting and eating there rather get the food packed . We had dal fry ( yellow) and roti and it tasted okay

So we went on family trip at shimla on 21 june 2023. In the evening we went to see mall road we all were hungry at there nd we saw sher e punjab there being punjabi we beleive that punjabi’s know better taste of food. And i must say that we do not regret on our decision best food as we order butter chicken dal makhni and panner burji with curd and salad . Quantity was super taste was brilliant. I highly recommend this restaurant . Must visit them if u go mall road . Back to hotel we also ordered more food for dinner and get back that to our hotel ❤️

My experience was stellar in Sher E Punjab, The food was just scrumptious and butter chicken was absolutely drool worthy! ✨ Must compliment the prompt service , and The staff was gentle & generous. I had the most amazing time and the most amazing food there. The Gulab Jamun was star of the show. It was all worth it, Kudos to the team! Great work.

Food is quiet okay. Must try is the butter chicken. The boneless ones is better. The laccha parathas are very big. One is enough for one person if you are not really really hungry (according to me) the tea is good too. Hotel is quite old and the interiors haven't changed in forever, which gives you very rustic vibes. Reminded us of the good old days

After having meal there I can vouch on the quality and quantity. It is worth to the money we pay. One of the best tandoori in Shimla. Amazing punjabi food. There's both veg and non veg dishes. We also tried their virgin mojito which paired well with the tandoori chicken! Always coming back to this place! Hands down for great food. But it's mostly crowded so be prepared to wait a while for tables.

Sher E Punjab - Go With The Name This Is Another Gem Of A Restaurant In Shimla Mall Road Serving Quality & Authentic North Indian Food. This Food Paradise Is Located Exactly At Centre Of The Mall Road Serving Breakfast, Lunch, Brunch & Dinner From 11am to 11pm . This Corner View Restaurant Is A Eye Catching Place On A Mall Road & Can Be Seen Crowded During Peak Hours. Almost 70 Years Old In Food Services, They Are Providing Authentic North Indian Food At Moderate Prices. Recommended Amongst Few Eating Gems On Shimla Mall Road With Good Quality Of Food.

The food is delicious and the place is hygienic.

Sher E Punjab at Mall road Shimla is for those , who really want to enjoy non-veg after reaching here....Must try chicken sheekh kebab....And yes if you r coming from Delhi then don't compare it with Delhi's non-veg ,you would be disappointed....

This is one of the older restaurants on the mall road. We had naan and tawa roti along with rajma and daal tadka. The taste was good and prices reasonable. In the end we were served with hot gulab Jamuns, which were so nice. The ambience needs to be upgraded. Couples may feel uncomfortable at times . Plenty of options like Momos are available, but we didn't try them.

One of the best restaurant in Shimla for chicken lovers. Their chilli chicken and butter chicken are very famous and tasty. Quantity is also huge. Sher E Punjab is situated on Mall Road Shimla. A big thumpsup👍👍

It's my fav place in shimla just because they serve the best north indian food.<br/><br/>Had chicken clear soup, veg seekh kebab, dal makhani, butter chicken, shahi paneer and chicken tikka masala. Though butter chicken is not like how it is served in Delhi i.e. bit creamy and sugary but it was nice. Chicken tikka masala tasted awesome. So did Shahi paneer and everybody's fav Dal Makhani.<br/><br/>Service was good as well. Recommended !!

Tried the momos and gulab jamun and both seemed to be very average to me. Although they are one of the very few places to be serving chicken momos which are available after 3pm

I was on a trip wid my frnd, wen I went to order they asked me if I want to eat inside or outside. Like u have to pay extra money to sit inside as it was too cold.<br/>People were so rude because they don't have humanity at all 😡<br/>Food was worst and horrible.<br/>Don't go.

So this place serves authentic north Indian food in shimla. The portions are large and nonveg pieces are big so they provide good quantity at a reasonable price.

The chicken momos were really dry and the skin was really thick. The tandoori chicken was really nice and the butter naan was pretty good. It is a small place with seating upstairs as well. Overall it was a decent place for lunch

First off, the chicken momos were not upto my standard of recent experiences. It had an artificial taste and it they were quite dry. Also, the momo skin was quite thick and there was not much filling.<br/>However the Chicken Hot and Sour soup was decent apart from the excess in garlic but overall it was a good soup.<br/>The chicken and sweet corn soup had a good aroma and tasted good. A very decent soup with a lot of chicken and soup within the bowl. A filling meal definitely <br/>The Chicken Tandoori was very appealing and tasted great, a good 4.6/5. Really juicy on the inside, and well seasoned on the outside. Good aroma and it complimented the onions well. (Uno we have to do the ramsay ting ugm 😤)

Butter Chicken seemed okay, the vegetarian food wasn't upto the mark. Paneer Do Pyaza seemed dry and over stuffed. Dal Makhni seemed like Home Cooked Kali Masoor. Butter naan overdoughed. Could have been way better.

This is one of the most famous restaurants located at the Mall Road, Shimla and they serve really good food, just to put it in a very simple and straight-forward way. I was in Shimla for 2 - 3 days and every single day I went there for my lunch & breakfast. During the day, the view from their top most floor is amazing. You can enjoy the food with the view. :)<br/><br/>I tried their butter chicken, tandoori chicken, masala chicken and quite a few other dishes and totally loved everything that I had. I think I will surely go back there whenever I will be in Shimla again. 💕

Food quality is very average. Ill managed, drinking water kept in plastic bucket in front of guest. Staff take out water using mug for serving. This will turned down your place experience.

Recently i was in Shimla and i had a craving for a North Indian Meal so i decided to visit Sher-e-Punjab. Unfortunately, the North Indian food wasn't available at that time because of a strike.<br/>I ordered Chicken Momos and a Coffee. The chicken momos were one of the best i have had in my life. The chicken was full of spices and flavours. It was lip smacking. The chilli chutney accompanied the momos well. We ended up ordering two plates of the same. The coffee was average.<br/>The sunset is visible from the window of the place making it a wonderful place to sit and eat watching the sunset.<br/>The staff is friendly and polite. The prices are pocket friendly too.

Worst place high expectations.. Rude owner charge extra on credit card payment.. tried tawa chicken and seekh kabab.. Average in Taste .. Doesnt seems like fresh.. for delivery they just make u vusit from one counter to another

The most famous place in summer hill near the mall road. Its a all day casual dining restaurant in mall road area. We reached bit early so we had to wait for some time to get our food.<br/><br/>What we ordered -<br/>1) Dal tadka<br/>2) Steamed Rice<br/>3) gobhi aloo masala<br/>4) Kadhai Paneer<br/>5) Lachha paratha<br/><br/>All were good in taste. Service was also good, but one thing they have to Maintain is cleanliness of the place.<br/><br/>

If someone travell to Shimla Mall Road and want to have Authentic Punjabi Food.Then this is the perfect place ,with authentic taste ,consistant taste .Each & every dish gives a mouthwatering taste.Must try place

very very poor.. they serve unhygenic and rotten food.. i ordered tandoori chicken but that was like 2 days old.. very poor.. and they are so rude.. like what if we are serving you a week old food..

Probably the worst place in Shimla to have food from, the owner is very rude, doesn't give a shit about your preference, we ordered tawa chicken butter masala, there was barely any meat on the bone and the oil in which it was prepared was so sticky that it didn't go even after washing my hands. The second thing we ordered was dal makhani because who can make it wrong, but then again it tasted like it was kept for months to ferment.<br/>Don't consider this place to spend your money and time.

Staff was rude all time and food also was ok ....they should learn how to behave with customers...I ask for bill there and they denied me to go e a bill.table was dirty.dont waste your money here

Sher-e-Punjab offers great north indian food. I had my lunch here and ordered dal makhni, tawa chicken along with breads and fresh lime soda. The food is delicious.

Nothing very special about it to get a place in must visit places in shimla. Tired fish tikka, paneer hariyali, Rajma n mushroom masala nothing was great n prices were also similar to other fine places nearby. Found it an Overrated place.
