Krishna Vaishno Dhaba is probably the most famous vegetarian dhaba/restaurant in Srinagar.
If you have been to srinagar as a tourist, then it's highly likely that you have visited this dhaba.
The South Indian food served at the dhaba is below average, but North Indian food is what you should definitely order.
Rajma Chawal Butter Fry is a must try! The items that I recommend are:
1. Shahi Paneer
2. Aloo Paratha
3. Masala Bhindi
4. Paneer Paratha
5. Kadhi Pakoda
I also tried their chilli paneer which I did not like at all.
If you make a trip to Srinagar, then you should definitely visit Krishna Vaishno Dhaba regardless you being a vegetarian or not.
Gives 'thet dhaba' like experience. Cordial staff. Simple, hygienic and tasty food with light flavours without much spices or oil. Moderate to small portions. Nice and crispy rotis, straight from oven. Rajma chawal butter fry is the delicacy that all vegitarians will savour.
It's quite a nice place for vegetarians. The food quality is impressive. I have tried Dal Makhni, Rajma Chawal, Shahi Paneer with lassi there, and all of them tasted good. And the service is quick too.

Every item they serve here is really really delicious whether it's kheer or palak panir or even the salad chutney, for that matter...

The place has a good food for vegetarians visiting srinagar. Service is prompt and up to mark. The place is always crowded, even in off season.
This place is a literal heaven for food lovers. The food is as delicious as it can be with proper hygiene. The famous Rajma-Chawal is definitely worth a try and the green chutney is something not to forget. There’s just one thing which I didnt like-the customers are supposed to wait at the table at which the previous customer is already having food, making him feel awkward and then literally loot the table as soon as he gets up. The owner should make some waiting arrangements for the customers and sort this.
Best breakfast and veg food place in Srinagar. Their choley bhature is awesome. Chutney in yellow mustard sauce, I think it was potato. It was the best Chutney you can have with Choley bhatura. other things like Dosa and idli was also great. So whenever you visit Srinagar next time just give try to have breakfast here

Tastiest food but seating arrangement is low. People come and stand up beside you the whole time when you eat. Doesn't look good

Its a local dhaba made famous by bloggers especially nothing special in food but is being visited by all vegetarian visitors. Food was ok bug of that level that has been hyped by bloggers though u can find manh vegetarian dhabas on Dal lake. Overall it was normal food. May be in Srinagar vegetarian food is scarcily avaialble that may be the reason peiple thronging this dhaba.
One of the oldest Vaishno Dhaba. Pure veg Dhaba. You will never forget the taste you get here. One must try. No crowd in morning but very crowd in the evening. Rates are also reasonable.

This place was upto the name.Proper dhaba vibes, yummy food , quick service and economical food is all I can say about this place. Tried their Dum Aloo, Nadru (Lotus Stem) Yakhni, Kheer & Rajma Chawal. Everything was great with Rajma chawal having exceptionally great taste.
