Review Kwality Restaurant - Surat

Food is great over here. The offer which they are having is good. We have tried many food but the one is paneer makhani pizza and Chinese food in which we have tried noodles. Both things were too yummy in taste. We have ordered many other food like other Punjabi sabji but my fav are this 2 pizza and noodles. And their hot chocolate is also good in taste😊. This time we had tried rice Nd Chole kulcha

There is nice restaurant & peaceful atmosphere here. It's 100% Vegetarian restaurant. Here one open Hall ti arrenge Birthday or Any function of around people 100. One family dinning hall 24 people. It's has also a big Hall of 50 people. Great infrastructe & cooling of A.C so perfectly in every corner. So nice music system here & enjoy with eating. Quality & of food is so good. Nice all the food. Service system is also so good. Here also good ice-cream is called the Big Bear. It's good family restaurant.

We love Big B icecream, I guess in the last 20 years we have been eating this Icecream.

Not much known about food but yes you can get a full plate for your lunch and dinner. As per the smell I can tell it is good. And the ice cream below the restaurant is very good. Softy is not the best but you can try cones

**Honest Review** •Place : It's clean, well maintained and well known for quality of food and everything. This restaurant is in business from years !! Maybe 2-3 decades or even more !! •Food : Food is just like their name "Kwality" it's delicious and hygiene and affordable, what else we want ? It's Perfect !! •Staff and service : Staff is polite and friendly and clean, and if that's not enough they are quick when it comes to service - So that's a plus. •Price : prices here are really affordable if I compare to quality and quantity of food you'll get. And they offer 50% off on take away and 20% off if you have your meal there (just double check this, usually they offer) P.S : I'm really impressed by the straw tho, it's environment friendly 💕 and I encourage others to try not use plastic if you an alternative. 😊

I had stayed at Surat from Sept. '08 to Dec. '14 and used to frequent Kwality at least 5-6 times a month. It used to be a non-vegetarian restuarant back then serving some A-M-A-Z-I-N-G dishes. I fondly remember the Nawabi chicken, Mughlai chicken, chicken handi, the chicken lollipop starter with the schezwan chilli sauce etc. The dishes were mind blowing! So much so that you were guaranteed to come back for more. Unfortunately they switched to a vegetarian restaurant during 2015. I hope their vegetarian dishes carry the same legacy! Kwality's trademark dish is (arguably) the 'Big Beer' dessert. Different flavours of ice cream in a big bowl topped with sauces, nuts and cherries. Loved it. We used to park on the street and during winters, the sweater market opens up here. Would love to visit some time soon and cherish the old memories.

Vintage hotel, good food, but limited option Ice-cream desert are good.

Best place for cold product and simple veg menu. Parking for 2 wheeler and 4 wheeler can be done easily by road side. Best part is to get the order by yourself and get seated inside the hotel which have a best view. Don't hesitate to go inside for dining instead of standing on the active road side

I have great childhood memories over their, from desert to food everything is at point.

The softy they provide is amazing. The ice cream texture is smooth and the cone is of good quality. We always go here for a quick softy time.

Good Food taste. Located near Gandhi Baug Rangupvan, Makaipool. There is a prepayment service and there is combo menu available with selected combination of pre designed Menu for Punjabi food. Price is reasonable and food taste is good.

We tried Mini bear ice cream it was an awesome 1st time We tried ice cream with fruits a superb combination and also added dry fruits.

We had a family function here. The first thing one notices that it is quite affordable. The food is extremely good for the price. Ambience has lots of room for improvement. Do not hesitate going here and trying a few classic dishes.

The place is decorated with green ambience on the outside as well as inside, not very lit but more on the dim side, I quite liked it but something about the place made me feel a lil gloomy. Probably coz the place was enclosed. The choice of food was good. You had chats to South Indian to burgers, pizzas, desserts n more. We went for a chole tikki, Pizza and a Rava Masala dosa. The plating was decent, the food looked appetizing, quality was good but they could make a slight improvement in the taste. The token system is quite efficient with no waiting in queues in rush hour as your token number is displayed when food is ready. Only thing the delivery man at the counter don't even bothered to check your token when delivering. But Service was quick, staff was helpful n everybody wore proper uniforms out of which the chefs looked quite facny. Lots of space n ample seating. Pricing seemed apt. Everything mostly costed within 150 bucks which was great.

This place is worth visiting. This is one of the oldest restaurants in Surat. It's running since 1972. The food quality is too good as their name is kwality. The staff members are polite and generous. There are outdoor and indoor ( AC and Non AC ) sittings available. This place is near to riverbank. So it make you feel good.

Good food, simple and low oily low spicy food. Free sitting is available. So much reasonable prices. Location is also peaceful.

If I'm visiting Surat, there is no chance I'll miss an opportunity to go to this place.<br/>The food is beyond words, so delicious and so homely.<br/>I have paneer butter masala/tikka as regulars in this place but I'm always open to trying new things.<br/><br/>the BEST part is they offer half/full servings. I can enjoy my favourites even if I'm not with a huge party.<br/><br/>My most FAVOURITE thing about this place is their ice cream sundaes.<br/>The sundaes are so flavourful, with so many fruits and nuts, and the quantity is huge, starting with prices as low as 120.<br/>The quantity, quality and their pricing beats any other ice cream place. I would prefer their sundaes above anything else.<br/>If you're going to this place, feel free to skip on the dinner and hog on sundaes but do not ever miss their sundaes.

This is one the best restaurant in Surat to have authentic Veg. Punjabi dishes. Being a regular visitor I've seen they try out adding new cuisines in their menu. The unlimited meal option is what you should look for, which offers you to have a great combination of starters followed by the main course and lastly their most popular desert - The Big Bear Ice cream (slice of different flavored ice cream with chocolate syrup n nuts).

I also go when they serve a nonveg food but I first time go for a veg food same place but not good food there's very very average food they serve and now not good serving style also 😊

Recently visited this place and wasn't disappointed at all!<br/><br/>It wasn't crowded when we visited, so got a table almost immediately. The ambience isn't something out of the world. Plain and simple decor is something I prefer over flashy decor.<br/><br/>The staff was friendly and helpful. The manager was courteous and friendly. The service was pretty quick.<br/><br/>We ordered manchow soup and veg Hong Kong for starters. The fried noodles felt stale and were promptly replaced when we told the manager. The soup was delicious and had the right amount of everything. The veg Hong Kong was suggested by the manager and we loved it! We had ordered a small portion of the starter and it was sufficient for 5 people!!<br/><br/>Next we ordered Hyderabadi paneer tikka masala, which could have been better and corn capsicum masala. The latter was spicy, just as we like it!<br/><br/>Again, we ordered small portions of the sabji and it was sufficient for 5 people. The sabjis come with complimentary kulchas. The kulchas were soft and so were the rotis!<br/><br/>One thing that I liked about this place is that they have an option of small and big portion for almost every item on their menu and that they give a complimentary kulcha with every sabji. This is something that I've never seen in any other restaurant.<br/><br/>Lastly, we ordered the famous Big Bear and guess what- they offer a half portion of that too! The half big bear itself was huge in quantity! Make sure you keep place in your tummy for this ice cream! I've never had ice cream presented so beautifully.<br/><br/>Overall, the food is tasty, the service is good and the Big Bear is the best! Go visit!

Yaah food was good so as ambience is also ohky ... Now a days there are lots offers, which makes it very economical. And with that food as well as ambience it is perfect thing. Their big Bear icr cream... can't say anything you just try😍

Let's talk about a not so good, spontaneous experience.<br/><br/>Food ordered : Vegetable biryani, Clear vegetable soup and Vegetable raita.<br/><br/>To be very honest (and blatant) not a good start with probably the worst clear vegetable soup i ever had in 24 years of my existence! I told not to put cabbage so expected a lil less dense soup, okay! But i could literally count the pieces of carrot, pea and beans, with thick layer of oil buoying over.<br/>Vegetable biryani was okayish, nothing much to moot about. <br/>Vegetable Raita was not Raita but dahi with chopped vegetables in it.<br/><br/>1.5 points just because serving crew was polite.<br/><br/>P. S I found something funny, as i entered the restaurant and passed by the reception desk, heard a loud "Kitne" (How many). It was the restaurant manager's warm welcome. Lol!

Good is good but it's best for its dessert . It's big bear ice cream is unbeatable. I have never had such yummy ice cream ever. It's thick shake is also awesome like Mocha Brownie, Choco chips. Nowadays , schemes are going on there on food like BOGO. Worth to try. 😊

The best restaurant for non-veg food in the city, Kwality is a class apart. The menu for both vegetarian and non vegetarian offerings is mind blowing. To add to that, the Big Bear is an absolute delight. I have been hearing some horrible things about the management of the restaurant but I seriously hope that it is being taken care of. Kwality is a real Surat gem.

For decades, this place would serve some of the best non vegetarian food in the city. But, this place was recently taken over by a Jain businessman, who like any religious fanatic from our country, took immense pleasure in imposing his stupid beliefs on the customers. The result? The place went from serving some of the best food in a diverse menu, to a restricted menu that serves food that leaves you wanting. <br/>Recently, my parents and their friends visited this place to have their signature dessert, "The Big Bear", which has multiple scoops from multiple ice creams, served with freshly cut fruits. Five out of the seven people who visited the place, came back and complained of severe food poisoning within 24 hours of the visit. The only common thing that they all ate, was the ice cream at this place. For anyone doubting their credentials on zeroing in on the cause, four of the aforementioned people head their respective departments in the government hospital of the city. When we called into complain, we were told that the manager was not at the restaurant at the time. We haven't heard back from them about a customer's complaints.<br/>WOULD NOT RECOMMEND anyone to visit the place. This restaurant isn't what it used to be for so long.

After a long time we went out for dinner. This restaurant was in my wish list for quite a long time. So, finally managed to get out to eat.<br/><br/>The ambience of the place was good, we could see the river through the big windows, felt more like an open-air restaurant. The overall pleasant climate was adding up the fun to sit here. <br/><br/>For starters, we ordered 'paneer hong kong' from their new varieties menu.<br/>Tastewise, it was very delicious. The paneer was ver very soft, the spices were balanced tasted good, overall it was a winner and a great starter for the evening.<br/><br/>Next up, we tried a baked dish, ordered a veg au-gratin. It had loads of cheese, some veggies & noodles.<br/>After i tasted the dish, it was much sweeter which i didnt like. The thing that i liked was - cheese. It had lots it. My tastebuds have a special liking for spices and taste complexiety. This au-gratin didn't work for me.<br/><br/>So, to satisfy my tastebuds, i ordered dal fry and jeera rice.<br/>I would mention that dal fry was amazing. It was perfectly cooked and had that most favorable smoky flavor that made this plain old dish enjoyable.<br/><br/>I would also mention that the staff was courteous and was able to explain the queries i had and suggesting the food from their menu. Service was good.<br/><br/>In all, our dining experience was good.<br/><br/>Will come back here again to try the 'big bear' ice cream.

There was a time when my parents used to take me out for food and as a child I used to just eat the PAAV or the CHAPATI/NAN/PARATHA without Sabji...<br/>It was at Kwality where I started liking Sabji- FRENCH REVOLI<br/>I know foodies would not call it as Sabji as it is a baked dish...<br/>But me and my mom dad loved eating French Revoli with the Roti along with their specialist onion salad...<br/>Have never had such an onion salad anywhere in Surat...<br/><br/>There was a time when we were so frequent visitors with the same food that the staff themselves used to start writing the order beginning with French Revoli :D<br/><br/>Big Bear ice cream is also one of the good items but u need 3 to 4 people for the full size....<br/><br/>

Kwality Restaurant serves the best food in Surat...Truely one of d best 100% vegetarian restaurant of Surat ....Great ambience for outings with friends and family.....<br/><br/>Tried new arrivals RAJARANI SIZZLER n PANEER SHANGHAI really lip smacking .........N then d BIG BEAR ice cream completes the treat.

It was loved for its non vegetation service. City's oldest and tastiest place!! Chicken lazeers was unbeatable. Service is mediocre!<br/>Biggest attraction was the river view from the top of the restaurant.

Do not leave without eating the big bear. Excellent dessert. FYI- You cannot finish it alone. Share it with friends and family. The service and ambience is average though.

Here I don't know about the food.... but one thing that comes to my mind with its name is BIG BEAR it's an awesome huge ice-cream Sundae which could be served to atleast 6 people at a time from a single serving plate.<br/>It's a all about quantity an when it's ice cream how does the taste anyways matter since it's all mixed up ... also heard that it's one of the oldest restaurant of the city and used to serve good non vegetarian food...but now has completely turned to a pure veg resto.

Used to be my favorite restaurant in Surat but since it's turned veg- I won't be coming back! The servers were sweet and friendly (they may still be if they aren't changed too). I'll miss this place.

Old school and comforting but I've rarely been blown away and I suspect that's not about to change soon. They have always been packed with regulars and the food has stayed well, passable. Sizzlers only for me here...

Went there for dessert yesterday night! Calm, soothing and serene ambience! Tried the Big Bear sundae. Delightful stuff! Would definitely love to visit this place to try other stuff soon!

Rip non veg lovers.<br/>The only reason this place gained constant attention was due to non veg, but now they have turned to pure veg.<br/>Acceptable north indian and other veg stuff, but the place has lost its charm.<br/>Do try once,for the sake of its brilliant past, might be appealing to some.

This establishment has been around for quite some time now. Must be 4-5 decades old. Its basic in its decor. No other frills. <br/>Highly recommended for people who enjoy non veg food and are disappointed due to Surat's vegetarian majority. <br/>Recommend ordering Nawabi Chicken, any of the Chinese starters (veg spring rolls, veg 65, chicken lollipops). <br/>They do a really nice chocolate fudge sundae too for dessert.

One of the best Restaurant in Surat which has been screwed. It has become a 100% VEG joint. So forget about those classic Roasted Chicken and butter chicken dishes. Going there is complete waste. Quality/taste of food  has really gone down<br/><br/>Black Dal had a Gujarati Touch. Strange taste.<br/><br/>Paneer Tikka was the only good dish I had........

Disappointed after Kwality changed its menu to VEG only. Best egg curry and chicken butter masala. Provides good quality and with good quantity.

First restaurant in Surat to serve non-veg, so, it's been a long time, and therefore the nuance isn't much to be looked upon, and Food,umm... Let's say 10% Above average.<br/><br/>Veggie options.... Pretty much, but tastes average.<br/><br/>Anyways, Chicken Steak is a must have.

One of the oldest restaurants of Surat and this place has quite the fan following among a lot of people. The food here is decent. The decor is very 90's but the staff is friendly and service is efficient. The butter chicken is nice and also the chicken starters. The Big Bear dessert is quite famous here. A good option if you want the vintage feel and dine by the river-side.

Hi ALL,<br/><br/>I have been going to this restaurant since i was a child.<br/><br/>Let me tell you this place has an indoor sitting and outdoor sitting opposite the TAPI river which gives it a scenice view. I prefer sitting out bcoz inside its a bit congested.<br/><br/>So this place offers you some kickass buffet for as cheap as 300 where you can choose your own starter and everything from the menu.<br/><br/>We called for a normal Chicken tandoori and it came out to be deliciously delicious try it.<br/><br/>Also we called for some grilled fish which was also very good.<br/><br/>For veg:<br/><br/>Must try is their baked dish ,which has a double layer of cheese in it. Also the other north indian food it dammn good.<br/><br/>Last but not the least do try the Ice cream bucket which is around Rs.650.Which easliy 10 people can eat.<br/><br/>They have different flavors of ice cream in it as scoops along with dry fruits on the top.<br/><br/>I garauntee you will always come out with a bulge in d stomach :P .
