i recently visited this place. It was quite a peaceful and decent place. . This place is especially for south indian cuisine. The staff was polite and friendly with me. I really enjoyed their hospitality. You can enjoy some refreshing coolers and delicious south indian food. They have an extensive menu in beverages, dosas, idlis, uthappams and they have their special snack counters too. Now coming up to the food I ordered :-
1. Buttermilk
2. Ginger lemon cooler
3. Neer dosa ( Must try )
4. Mysore masala dosa
5. Masala toast sandwich
6. Dahi vada
7. Pineapple Sheera
I especially loved the Masala Toast Sandwich and neer dosa . And they have different types of chutneys as well. All were cherry on the top for me. And all it was delicious in taste. One of the best south indian restaurants I ever tried Overall, I had great experience in visiting this QSR restaurant. I would highly recommend you to give a try to their extensive menu
We recently visited Swamy which is located in Thane and had a lovely experience! They have a variety of options to choose from . They are famous for their South Indian cuisine but they have launched some new dishes too ! We tried their Dosa, Uttapam with some sizzling hot filter coffee along with pav bhaji , chaat, and sandwich! The taste of the food is extremely amazing ! The cafe is affordable and you must definitely visit it if you love delicious food ! The staff was very genuine and helpful .
Service : 8/10 .
Food : 9/10 .
I will definitely recommend it to you .
I recently dined at this restaurant and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The food was delightful, and the service was commendable. However, a notable drawback was the absence of proper seating arrangements. The lack of seating meant that patrons had to eat while standing, which was a bit inconvenient. I believe the establishment could significantly enhance the overall dining experience by addressing this issue.
On a positive note, the location was appealing and added to the overall ambiance. The menu offered a variety of dishes, and I found the pricing to be reasonable considering the quality of the food. The flavors were rich, and the ingredients used showcased a commitment to quality. Despite the seating inconvenience, the staff was attentive and courteous, contributing to a positive atmosphere.
The restaurant excelled in terms of food quality, taste, and service, the absence of proper seating facilities was a noticeable downside. I would recommend the establishment to those who prioritize excellent food and service over a traditional dining setup. If the seating issue is addressed, it could elevate the dining experience to a whole new level.
It's an outlet specialised in South Indian food options. The food quality and taste is really good. You also get options for foods prepared in ghee.
Due to its cleanliness and taste, I have always preferred Swamy for South Indian food.
This time I took a masala dosa and a combo Thali.
One thing I don't like about Swamy is the quantity of chutney and sambar. Very little chutney and sambar is served.
Taste:
Taste of Masala Dosa is Good.
Combo Thali is also good in taste.
Quantity:
Quantity of masala dosa is enough.
Quantity of combo Thali is also enough.
In Combo Thali they gave two uttapa, samabar, Rasam, Rasam and rice, one dahi vada, pickle, papad, chutney, raita and as a dessert Pineapple sheera.
Good thing is they ask about choice of rasam and rice or sambar and rice.
Now they made available Maharashtrian Food also.
But I don't taste it yet.
Now they served chat items and sandwiches.
This is one of the most popular south Indian snacks center in Thane
"Swamy - South Indian Food Express"
Personally, I am a Hardcore South Indian Food lover and I was super excited to try their South Indian Snacks, So here we go, You get a good verity of South Indian Snacks Including Pineapple sheera We tried, podi Idali, Medu Vada, Neer dosa and so on
But surprisingly they also have Maharashtrian snacks like Misal Pav, Sabudana vada, Thalipeeth and modak as well
The menu just not ends here, They also have Chole Bhature, Sandwiches and Chaat corner also
Swamy is for sure my favorite south Indian brekkie joint in Thane !
📍Lok Upwan Circle, Barrister Nath Pai marg, Pokharan road 2, Thane West
Idli podi and pineapple sheera was delicious.
N ended all with filter coffee ..... coffee was good too....
I was confuse while ording my dish because they have good dishes of South Indian. I was hungry so I order Combo rice in which we get two options for rice. 1. Curd rice or 2. Sambar rice. I choose curd rice and it's was good . But I expect chair to seat and eat . Over all food was good and tasty.
So i ordered their Onion rawa mysore masala Dosa of 135 Rupees which is the most expensive dosa they have. The rawa dosa was really crispy as it should be and the main magic was in the mysore masala they add inside. Also one more good thing is that the sambhar and chutney are jain so there are many options for Jain people also. Just go to Cashier and he will suggest you that what you can eat in jain.
Next thing i tried was their pineapple sheera and according to me it was abit less sweet as i like sweet food. But the over all taste and the hot sheera they serve was of no doubt.
The last star is for the staff they are really helpful and sweet people. Talking with you with a smile on their face.
A good place for a quick South Indian meal. The food taste is perfect. The staff is helpful and quick, as you would expect from a QSR. The tables, I feel, are limited so it can get crowded sometimes.
