I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the Gujrati and Rajasthani Food Festival at MASALEDAR organized by Zomato, and it was nothing short of a gastronomic delight! The festival showcased the rich culinary heritage of Gujarat and Rajasthan, offering a diverse range of traditional dishes that truly transported me to the vibrant streets of these states. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance was a perfect blend of cultural aesthetics, with vibrant colors and traditional decor setting the mood. The attentive staff added to the lively atmosphere. The menu featured an extensive array of authentic Gujrati and Rajasthani delights. I was particularly impressed with the flavors and textures of the Dhokla, KACHORI, and Undhiyu from Gujarat. The Rajasthani Dal Baati Churma were outstanding, showcasing the perfect balance of spices and aromatic flavors. The soft Puri and METHI Rotis, was a delightful accompaniment to the main dishes. The desserts were a sweet finale to the culinary journey, with Ghevar and KHEER stealing the show. The service was top-notch, with the staff providing detailed explanations of each dish and ensuring that our dining experience was memorable. Overall, the Gujrati and Rajasthani Food Festival at MASALEDAR exceeded my expectations and left me with a heightened appreciation for the culinary traditions of Gujarat and Rajasthan. I highly recommend this festival to anyone seeking an authentic and flavorsome journey through the heart of India's diverse cuisine.

We visited this place on a weekend and it was fully reserved. The hotel staff was kind enough to accommodate us with a table. Starter options were good , the rates for both veg and non veg lunch buffet were the same. The ambience was very good , and the service was incredible. Dessert options were limited. Overall a good place to visit for its aesthetics look.

The place is inside the Thane club. Nice relaxed place. 5 of us spent a nice time with great food and innovative mocktales (see pic of Kalakhatta). The Masaledar special subzi was simply amazing, I ate more of it than the chicken handi, which was also good. Overall a nice relaxed place with a bar to unwind. Service was great and the captain and waiters provided accurate description of food and quantity helping us to order right. Ambience was ok ok, not to be bothered about if you are with great people 🙂

Ambience is superb. Clean and hygienic restaurant. You can also get alcohol here but it's not included in buffet. Food is delicious. There is a chaat counter where you get Dahi Puri, Sev Puri, Pani Puri. Chaat was good. They give welcome drink and it's very tasty and refreshing. We literally drank 4-5 glasses of welcome drink. Taste was like non alcoholic Piña colada without coconut cream and coconut milk. No prawns here. If you're a prawn lover then don't go here because you won't get a single prawn dish. Generally all buffet serving restaurants have prawns but here there are no prawns. There are many starters. Veg starters are more than nonveg starters. Only one fish starter in nonveg and it tastes like Bombay duck. There is only one fish item in the main course. Desserts are gulab jamun, two types of pastries, jalebi. All desserts are tasty. You have to tell the staff to give you roti/naan/butter naan and they will serve at your table. Waited for it for 15 mins. Service needs to be improved. We had to wait a lot for food to be served to us. Staff behavior is good but service is slow. Usually this restaurant is uncrowded. This is in The Thane Club.

Located at centre of city Thane this hotel is the part of the Thane club. Club is open for non member too but you need to book your table as it’s mostly full. Member to club have good discount on dine in. Ample valet parking available. Restaurant is at first floor with a pleasant ambiance. Mostly swimming pool side table are booked fast. They have multiple purpose halls available to for parties weddings. Food quality is very good and presentable. But bit cost to your pockets. Staff is good. Table available from 2 to 20. Surly recommend 100%. Special try non veg items.

Nice Ambience, food is also tasty must try once

The food is really good here, overall ambience is good, staff is friendly, on weekends they have unlimited buffet, its a must try place. For weekdays price is 650 per person & on weekends its 750per person plus GST. It open in morning at 12 o'clock & closes at 4 o'clock. In Evening it opens at 6:30pm & closes at 11pm. Sometimes they have live music in the evening. Buffet includes soup, chaat, starters, main course & dessert.

Located at The Thane club at Waghale Estate. Masaledar is here to make a permanent reservation in your heart. We came here for the first time and the taste of food has left all of us spell bound. They serve impeccable thalis and it is sufficient to fill your stomach. A whole variety of tasteful dishes giving you an excellent value for money. The staff is courteous and available at every beck of your call. The best part of this place is their food as well as the ambiance, I can say it’s a restaurant by the pool side. The interior part is done well and it can cater easily up to 100 people at one time or maybe more. We tried their Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian thalis and trust me every single item from the spread were outstanding, it was really tough to decide what to eat first and one thali is good enough for 1 person, infact it can be well shared between the two of them. The quality of each dish is top notch right from starters to the main course. I wish they could even add 1 bowl of soup to it. The cost of the thalis are very reasonable. They also have a Indo Chinese combination available in the thalis. I highly recommend everyone to try them out once with your friends or family and I am sure you will keep going there again and again. Please note to reserve your seats in advance and also to check with the restaurant if there are no parties happening or bulk people coming over as it might delay your order a bit. I am sure restaurant will do their best to serve you on time. The average time for thali to be served is 25 mins which was bit delayed during my visit as there were some hiccups in the arrangements but I am sure it was a one off event. I am coming here again with my office folks for them to try out their amazing thalis. They have buffet during weekends and various thali during week days. We went for buffet and had fun!! Their buffet is worth!! They serve starters on table and for main course they have varities both veg and nonveg. In buffet below dishes were served Drinks - Aam panha.. tangy drink. Starters - 3 veg Starters *Veg Chesse ball - mix veggies with cheese deep fried. Taste nice. * Chilli Potato - French Fries tossed in chilli and Schezwan sauce * Paneer palak seekh kebab - Kebab were very soft and tasty as name suggests it has paneer palak nd potato. 3 Non veg Starters *Chicken Manchurian - Chicken Manchurian tastes amazing chicken tossed in soy sauce. * Charmola Fish Fried - This one is my fav basa. Fish deep fried with coating of their in house masalas. * Chicken Reshmi Kebab - Chicken kebab in yellow coating. Perfectly tandoor. Main course *Chole Kulcha - Soft Kulcha and spicy chole its perfect combination * Paneer Mutter- Was medium spicy tastes nice with roti. * Veg kadai - authentic Mix veggies gravy. *Chicken Handi - Chicken handi is authentic gravy tastes amazing with naan. *Steam rice and dal tadka is soulful nothing can beat it *Malaysian Noodles with Veg hot garlic sauce is perfect combination. Desserts- * Gulab jamun here is soft and warm sweet and yummy.. * Moong dal halwa - not much fan of it but taste was good * Jalebi was nice crispy loved it!! *Pineapple pastry was also nice. Overall Its a must try place..

Masaledaar located in Thane Club is one of the finest restaurants I've been with great food and lovely ambience. The ambience will make you fall in love at first place as the interiors are breathtaking with the goodness of sea blue all over and a swimming pool view to accompany your great meal. Talking about my personal experience here, let me tell you it was worth it. I've loved the food here absolutely loved it. And guess what they've recently started with the Thali's for all the food lovers. The Thali's they offer are quite reasonable for the amount of food they serve in it. It is more than enough for the amount that you spend for. Indo Chinese Veg Thali Starts at 595+ taxes Indo Chinese Nonveg Thali at 695+ taxes Non Veg Thali at 595+ taxes The Thali consist a total of 13-14 items including Desserts and Beverages. Its totally worth your penny. You can also go for ala carte, and they also have buffet some specific days of the week. They have many food items to offer on your table like a few drinks: Green Hawain Cocktail Black & Tan Mocktail Few Recommended Starters you get here are: The most hit " Popeye Ki Favourite Chaat" Spinach Corn Quesadillas Tiger Jheenga Something in Main Course you can have: - Maa ki Daal Makhni - Jeera Rice - Butter & Garlic Naan - Martabaan Kukkad Desserts to conclude: - Jalebi with Saffron Rabri", it was damn good! They've got lot of varieties to pick from, loved the way they present the dishes and thalis. Food is too good when it comes to taste, also it is good enough in the quantity. This is an eatery by Mini Punjab in the Thane Club.Its a well decorated place with a pleasant ambience.We went in for Sunday brunch and by 1:30 the place was full, thus would advise to reach early.They served an iced orange flavoured welcome drink ..n was quite good.The starters included chicken kabab, chilly chicken dry, fish fry, paneer matar seekh kabab, crispy potato balls and each one was freshly cooked and tasted good.It has a live counter serving golgappe and chats.The main course spread included chole bhature, rice,pulao, paneer , Thai curry,pasta, noodles, chicken, fish ,dal, mix veg. I completely loved the clear soup and the noodles. Though they didn't serve any exotic cuisines but the quality was quite appreciable. The dessert needs a special mention ,they served aam ras, moong daal halwa, cheesecakes,gulab jamun, jalebi and everything was mind-blowing.So overall it's a worth place and though serve limited options but you won't be disappointed at all with the quality of food as well as their staff behaviour.

Very good place to have a north indian food. I had chole kulcha and noodals. Both are authentic and tasty. Quality is awesome and quantity more than enough. Staff and service is also good. Ambience is decent. Overall its worth to visit. Must have place to explore.

One of the most comfortable seating with the unique concept of swing seating at the tables. The restaurant is huge and we’ll maintained with the bar station at the centre. Tables are place at a distance from each other. We ordered: (Tomato shoraba) Soup was very tasty and different. (Starters) The Kurkure sticks concept was very amusing and they very cheesy and yummy. Mashrooms very perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. For the Main course (Paneer) Was a kofta kind of a dish the gravy was very tasty and the Koftas were well marinated. (Dal makhni) Tasted like any other dal. It was good enough Desert Kulfi 2.0 Was the signature dessert and worth waiting for. New concept and one of the best desserts I had till date. Overall it was a very nice and pleasant experience. The staff was quite helpful and service was quick. Must visit if you are in Thane.

Jumping straight to the food, it was pretty decent. We ordered a couple of mocktails and the best one was 'mix fruit pinacolada'. Amongst starters, we enjoyed 'veg cheese kurkuri the most. On the other hand, veg biryani was okayish, turned out to be sour and had too many veggies, didn't enjoy it. The ambience was the best thing masaledaar offers. Right from the perfect cutlery, variety of sauces, dim chandeliers and subtle teal walls, it was welcoming. However, the starters were self serve and only the main course was served by the staff. Will visit again to try their buffet and thali!

Magical!!! Mesmerizing!!! and Mouthwatering!!these words are perfect for the ambiance and food at masaledar. Super cosy ambiance with beautiful view and lip smaking food. the masaledar is located in thane and has really large sitting space. loved the vibes and service of super friendly staff. The masaledar by mini Punjab has really great option of thalis also. from their various scrumptious range of thali, we tried. VEG thali includes 4 types of gravy, rice, 2 desserts, 3 starters and buttermilk & jaljeera. the flavours were really good and it's sufficient for single person. the starters were super delicious. loved their desserts too. it's highly recommended. We went to this restaurant to experience the famous Dara Singh thali. This is one of the biggest thali in Mumbai. Thali was phenomenal. Absolutely amazing. It came with one big glass of delicious punjabi lussi and two mocktails. This thali has all the north India delicacies. Starting from very humble parathas to murg musallam. It had 3 types of rice n many more. It also included a dessert thali which had all our favourite Indian desserts like gulab jamuns, mal poha, jalebi, kalakand, halwa. <br/>Overall we had mind blowing experience. We highly recommend this place for authentic North Indian cuisine. They have good ambiance and good staff. Love this place.

Visited this place. Ample parking space. beautifully decorated place and well maintained staff. Talking about the food, we ordered Non-veg thali. It came in three courses. First the liquids then the thali itself and offcourse desserts for concluding. There are loads of portions so size of portions i guess doesn't matter. beautifully arranged. For looks its 5/5 star. Taste wise it can be said to be average (4/5). Staff is quite polite.

The Mini went to Masaledar via Punjab, which is on the west side of Thane, near the Thane Club as a teenager. The quality of the food is very good The service provided by the restaurant is amazing. The staff is caring, generous and gentle. Parking is available for vehicles on campus. It 's the perfect place for birthday parties. Brown's prices are relatively low compared to other restaurants, but the quality is almost standard. To eat authentic Punjabi, Spicy by mini Punjabi!

Food was great and kebabs was also very tasty. Quantity of chicken handi was a lot and that is very good. Quality and quantity were great only disappointment was that when we came we were not offered water for over 30 minutes. Also when we asked for something it took a lot of time to execute it so service was slow.

Located right beside the Easter Express Highway Masaledar by Mini Punjab is a hotel where you look forward for a proper Punjabi Meal . Service provided by the restaurant is amazing . Staff is caring , generous and polite . Parking is available for vehicles inside the campus . It's an ideal place for Birthday Parties. We had ordered , munchow soup , paneer papdi starter , paneer kunchan and tandoor roti as main course and walnut sizzling brownie as dessert. What the restaurant offers in brownie is way beyond with respect to what you pay for it . Brownie is priced relatively low witj comparison to other restaurants but the quality is of atmost standard . The show stealer of our dinner was indeed brownie. The only flaw we found out was the service charge levied upon us. For authentic punjabi food , Masaledar by Mini Punjab is worth going for !

Tried this place for Home Delivery.<br/>Chicken Tikka Masala was just Awesome!!!<br/>Could not have been better. The best part was the Packaging! They sent the order in a container made without *PLASTIC* which i would like to appreciate a lot. The Chicken Was cooked well and it was Tender and Lucious. The Gravy had a perfect blend of Tomatoes and Onions.<br/>Definitely going to try other options.

Our friends recommended us to visit the place, and have their buffet, so we planned to visit the place. The restaurant is at first floor of thane club, As we entered, we were just stunned by the interior, we were lucky we got the table as we came, because there were waitings till one hour or more than that, as we ordered our buffet system, within 5 to 10 minutes they started serving the food. They were so fast to service. We told them that come slowly, the service is very fast, and the food is good. The fish was fresh, chicken was fresh, and the staffs were humble and polite to their customers. after the starters their were main course, and after that desserts, in desserts there were pastries, rabdi jalebi, mousie. We just loved the place.<br/><br/>Overall we would rate this place :- 5/5

Went for lunch on Sunday afternoon.its situated inside thane club on first level.ambiance is fine. Staff n service was very good. We went for lunch buffet. Starters r served on table along with Welcome drink.there were 3 veg and 3 non veg starters. Also Chaat preparations were delicous. paneer papdi/cheesy seekh/cheese balls/veg manchurian and for non veg fish Tikka/chicken tikka/chilly chicken were the starters..they were serving ample and all the items were tasty. Chicken tikka and papdi paneer was my pick. Main course was filled with chole, hakka noodles, garlic sauce,chicken curry, pulav ,soup etc..coming to deserts combination of Indian desserts n pastries..all I missed was ice cream or kulfi..overall a satisfying experience

Mini punjab needs no introduction, They are famous for their outstanding food and extraordinary innovations!!<br/><br/>This was my first visit to Thane outlet, I have been to their Powai Outlet but Thane Outlet nailed it like a Boss.<br/><br/>I tried their Sunday buffet which just costs ₹.620 And i must say i am pretty happy with their food and Next level service as the staff were super humble and professional.<br/><br/>Initiated with Starter's:<br/>Cottage cheese Balls: It was the best ever cottage cheese ball for us. It was fried super crispy from outside and best quality soft paneer inside.<br/><br/>Cheese corn seekh kabab: It was again outstanding. Taste of corn was going really well with Paneer and cheese. Kabab was cooked perfectly.<br/><br/>Cheese chilly tikki: This was unique as It was combination of cheese and green chilly served with mayo and Ketchup dip. First bite give you the taste of cheese however next few bite gives you chilly punch and makes it a perfect dish all together.<br/><br/>Veg Crispy: This was again commendable. crispy fried vegetables in red sauce is my ti go starter's every time. I enjoyed this like anything.<br/><br/>In Mains they had:<br/>Paneer vegetable which was super rich and creamy and Paneer pieces were super fresh and soft. I loved this the most in Mains<br/><br/>Veg Makhanwala: It was again my favourite veg. for mains. It was medium spicy with tons of flavours.<br/><br/>Bhindi sabji was Okies in taste as I am not a big fan of this.<br/><br/>Chole bhature: How can you miss chole bhature in Punjabi Restaurant!! This was Delhi, Amritsar style chole which are black in colour and Piping hot bhature was served on table to complement Chole.<br/><br/>Dal and rice were also there.<br/><br/>Dessert:<br/><br/>Rasmalai: This Rasmalai was different from regular which i find in Mumbai. The cream or chena used to make this was superb and fresh. It was so yumm that i couldn't stop myself to eat like never before.<br/><br/>Pastries: There were assorted pastries and Mousses also there which was again really good However i enjoyed Indian dessert more.<br/><br/>Sabudana kheer: It was again mind blowing. It wasn't over sweet but awesome. The thickness of kheer were on point!!<br/><br/>In Mocktail they have their mocktail of the day for Buffet which is Unlimited!!<br/><br/>Also Their Live chaat counter not to miss. Because panipuri and Dahi puri here were again out of the world.<br/><br/>Overall i had a delightful experience out here with Perfect combination of food and Service. The ambience is also really good and Live!!<br/><br/>Looking forward to visit this once again!

Yesterday we went here for dinner, its located inside The Thane Club which is a nice place and also we got our table which had the swimming pool view which was awesome.<br/>The Ambience is very nice and specially the food was really awesome and delicious, would definitely recommend this place.

Went with my friends to this restaurant and we ordered the dara singh thali it was delicious and contained many varities of sabzi and parathas , starters main course and a range of desserts. The thali cost around 2500 rs and 5 to 6 people can easily finish this thali. Just loved the experience of such a massive thali. It aslo has 2 to 3 types of rice preparation it is available both in veg and nonveg. You should definately try it once.

We had The Great Dara Singh thali here and it was one heck of a gastronomical experience. The lassi, parathas , chaat, variety of options in rice ( daal khichdi, pulao) and the malpua ...all were so tasty. Our tummy got full but soul didn't 😋

The best dish to have with your loved ones is the dhara singh thali . It has some variety of dishes which is served . The one which I had was the veg thalli which cost around ₹2400 and was very delicious . The welcome drinks were really refreshing, the main course was very delicious, if you are in a group of 4 -5 people then this one dish is very much enough to fill up your stomach and also the dessert were very tasty .<br/>Talking about the mains, it had numerous type of sabjis and the 5 different types of rotis served. The overall ambience and staff were very good.

This place is paradise for food lovers. Been here for couple of times, I liked the ambience, the food the service fortunately got a table with the pool view and it was awesome. So this place was in my wish list from the long time due to its much hyped Dhara Singh thali.<br/>Before visiting this place to try this grand thali you need to book it in advance<br/>The place is situated in thane club with good ambience<br/>We were 4 of friends and you need to b atleast 4 to 5 people to complete this thali fully as they don't allow parcel of anything from thali<br/>The thali started with four welcome drinks which had a must try black currant mojito other three were average<br/>Then comes suji Pani Puri which is little different in flavour than normal Pani Puri.<br/>And then comes the thali with 4 starters 3 types of rice and different gravy's in chicken mutton and prawns.<br/>In which Chicken amritsari, Butter Chicken, Egg mutton Keema and chicken biryani were really great in taste while everything else was just good to average<br/>They have deserts in which you are served 4 types of deserts and ice cream of your choice<br/>Overall the thali is good to try but considering it's price 3200 for (non veg) which seems really very costly as they don't have unlimited of anything you need to share drinks and deserts which is quite irritating.<br/>

Had been this place just once and OMG such an classy ambiance. We ordered the Daara Singh thali. Must say every group for once should visit this place for this Thali. This place not just served us the awesome food but and amazing experience all together.

We wanted to have buffet for long time ,that's why we all the way came to Thane but little disappointed with varieties of food. Although food quality was good but there was only few options of starter . In fish only basa fish.As compare to other buffet restaurant it doesn't give stomach full wala feeling. Main course had varieties.<br/>In dessert gulam jam was thumb down.other items like petha burfi,mosse,pastry,kheer, moong Dal halwa was good.<br/>High disappointment is there is no 🍧🍦for buffet .It's not digestible at all . Their service is also slow and not personalized....<br/>Improvement is needed....

The ambience and hygiene are amazing! Soups on the menu deserve some finishing. Starters and main course are definitely lip-smacking🤩<br/>Cherry on the top were the Punjabi Twin Towers Lassi and Chass you will need a whole another tummy to gulp that lassi altogether.<br/><br/>Tip: soup is the 1st meal at the table so advise the staff to get it together for all members at the table because as a part chivalry people don't start food untill everyone has something ahead of them which might make the soup of 1st goers cold.

Non veg DHARASINGH THALI as the name helps us to know the way it will look. Giant size thali full of variety and food quality and taste is awesome should try once with friends. Pending Treat can be cleared here :)

If one manages to get a pool side facing table for the dine in, the ambiance gets amazingly beautiful. It's a spacious hotel with lots of seatings available. We had an option of ala carte and a buffet. Chose to have a vegetarian buffet which is their USP.<br/><br/>The Starters were amazingly delicious with options of Pani puri, sev puri, Manchurian, cheese balls, paneer rolls. Everything was top notch.<br/><br/>Mains had quite a decent spread. Paneer Mattar, jeera rice, noodles, fried rice, vegetable in coriander sauce stood out.<br/><br/>Pasta salad was so refreshing plus they serve unlimited welcome drink and this time we had fresh jars of mojito.<br/><br/>Desserts were on point but the disappointment was obviously gulab jamun. I mean how can one go wrong with this traditional dessert. Rest of the desserts like moose, pastries, barfi, kheer just stole the show. Highly recommended if you like Indian food with some Chinese dishes on the side.<br/><br/>One more thing, had read a lot of reviews about their slow service and also about power outages and other stuff, i feel they have just got better at their service

Having already been to "Lakeside" by Mini Punjab @powai, I was aware of the quality food offered by the restaurant.<br/>We, a group of 20 had gone for Sunday Brunch (attending my nephew's birthday party) and as we had reserved ahead of time, we got to sit together.<br/><br/>The ambiance is very good with comfortable and spacy seating. There is a billboard of "Mini Punjab" against which you can take photos using various props.<br/><br/>This being a buffet restaurant, chaats, soup, starters and mocktails are served on the table, rest of the menu we have to pick and choose from the arranged buffet.<br/><br/>Coming to the food part,<br/><br/>There were 2 mocktails served, fresh lime soda and mojito and both were average.<br/><br/>In chaats, I tried pani puri and dahi puri which were both very good. Worth a try.<br/><br/>In soup, I had Chicken coriander soup which was amazing {Recommended}.<br/><br/>In appetizers,<br/>1. Chicken wings: prepared with scezwan sauce and good to taste {Recommended}.<br/>2. Fish Kabab: Bassa fish kabab well marinated and good to taste.<br/>3. Chicken kabab: chicken kebabs with red preparation. Average taste.<br/><br/>In main course, I tried fish gravy as well as chicken gravy and both were average. (Chicken gravy slightly better than fish).<br/><br/>Lastly, there are around 6 to 7 types of desserts, and almost all were average except for pinapple pastry which was better than the rest and Gulab Jamun {Recommended} which I really liked a lot.<br/><br/>All in all I would call it a value for money considering the ambiance and the variety offered.

Had a very bad experience when I went for lunch buffet. Main course was not prepared even after we waited for 1 hour in restaurant. The desserts were pathetic. Pastries were spoilt and halwa was burnt. The butter chicken only had bones. The mocktail was a very sweet strawberry milkshake which doesn't go well with heavy Indian food so we asked for a refreshing drink.

Great food. Nice ambience, comfortable, spacious and open. Service is good too. Good place for a family get-together. Eat at the restaurant, or order from here, the food will always be good. Try the tandoori chicken and mangalorean fish curry.

Had a variety of food here with my friends, mainly non veg. The quality of food was good. Ambience was also good and service was fast. Visting this place again would be recommended by me. I loved this place and look like one best place in Thane to visit.

Must say it's the best buffet in whole thane. I vidited on a saturday afternoon for a get together with colleagues. <br/><br/>We were welcome with a very pleasant and classy decor. The staff is very courteous and polite.<br/><br/>We opted for the buffet option. I must say this one is the cheapest of all available buffets and worth every penny. Both veg and non veg options were good. They also have a chat counter included in the buffet. They also serve alcohol, however, that is not included in the buffet.<br/><br/>The restaurant is quite spacious and doesn't feel cramped.<br/><br/>One more thing that was good is they have a selfie point with lots of@ quirky props which can keep you engaged while enjoying your buffet.

Been to this place for the second time now. First I had opted for the buffet option but the they dont have a wide spread of buffet.. the second time we went for a la carte and the food was worth the penny. Chiken tandoori was very well marinated and kalimirch kebab were soft and tender. Manchow soup could have been a bit spicy but chicken dum biryani was ravishing.
