As much as I liked the misal from here, I did feel that it was over-priced.
However, for small appetite people like me, I can share the misal with someone with some extra pav.
Another reason that I can never finish the entire thing at once is that it's too spicy.
So be careful with this one!
I have not tried any other dishes here so I won't be able to comment.
The place is decent and always crowded.
There are unusual delays at times in serving the order.
But for once, amantran misal is a must try!
I ordered Misal pav for the first time from this restaurant and I am surethat I would order again and again.
Misal is not at all oily (which is an issue with most of the other places! )
The quantity is good.
Delivery was also quick.
Will definitely recommend this place!

I visited to have their speciality which Misal Pav and it was really good. I am too ofter to this place for their speciality. Over all very place in terms of ambieance but they really serve good and hygenic food. Place is clean and neatly maintained. I highly recommend this place.
One of the famous place for misal pav. One should try such misal pav. They offer medium spicy and spicy misal which has a unique taste and aroma. However they charge Rs.60/plate which is too much and they also charge Rs.10 for extra pav and Rs.30 for extra rassa (gravy) which should be free of cost. I also tried butter milk (chaas) which also a good digester after such heavy misal.
Overall good place.
Ambience is also good.
Sometimes in the afternoon time rush is their but waiting time is approximately 10-15 min.

Misal here is the best. Have so many memories with this place.
I ordered misal pav at home. Misal is tasty and spicy.but the green peas was not cooked properly. Otherwise misal is nice

This restaurant is located in nandupada,thane west. This place has a pretty long menu. It provides a lot of different dishes
whenever you are in thane west,you should surely visit the hotel amantran.Amantran misal is one famous fast food in thane by its name.As its name,it is really tasty.The seating is also good and at the first floor.staff is quite good.I have also tried milkshake..but it is not worth the money.

Remember those awesome Misal Pav trips with Dad to Hotel Amantran? Well, I went back there today, and guess what? They still nail it! This time, I tried their Thalipeeth and Alu Vadi, and wow, they were even better than I imagined.
The Thalipeeth was like a golden pancake, bursting with nutty flavor and just the right amount of spice. The butter on top melted into pure joy with every bite, making it a healthy treat that tasted like a warm hug.
And the Alu Vadi? Crispy on the outside, with a sweetness balanced by a surprising kick of chili. Each bite was a party in my mouth!
Of course, I couldn't resist their famous coconut chutney. Fresh, and perfect with the Alu Vadi. It was like a flavor fiesta on my tongue, a true taste of home.
And to top it all off, a steaming cup of chai. Strong, milky, with a touch of ginger – the perfect way to wash down this amazing meal.
Hotel Amantran isn't fancy, but it's got food that makes you feel good. It's like stepping back in time, reliving happy memories with every bite. So if you're looking for delicious Maharashtrian food that hits you right in the feels, Hotel Amantran is the place to be. Don't forget to try the Misal Pav next time – it's legendary!

They are very well-known for their finger-licking variety of Indian street foods, especially Marathi dishes. The food is always fresh and gets served piping hot. The plus point is its reasonable pricing for all the dishes. Both quality and quantity are more than satisfactory. They have an efficient and co-operative staff to attend you. Their Cheese Misal Pav, Onion Masala Dosa, Cheese Uttapam and Spicy Misal Pav are must haves.

Best Food. It's unique think is its Misal pav which have legacy of Mamledar Misal. We also tried here the veg thali also here. In Veg thali we received puri and three sabji with desert. Taste is good but on weekends you will find long que for your lunch or dinner. Its near ZP thane and on walking distance from Thane railway station.
It's a famous spot for pure veg food and snacks. The taste is average. Service is also average. There is always a need to wait in a queue but not more than 15-30 minutes. Overall an averagely good place to visit to satisfy the hunger. But it is advisable to visit at least once. No parking available.Some you can park two wheeler on the front road side.
Must try their cheese Misal Pav!

A really good place to have Misal Pav. The Misal is very delicious and has a unique taste. Served with good sized soft pavs.
The price is reasonable too. The normal Misal Pav starting at Rs. 70 (as of May 2023).
The buttermilk also tastes amazing. Tangy as it should be !
Only missing thing is the coriander on Misal. 😕
I stayed over night in Thane and found this restaurant. This was a really nice restaurant. They have all types of vegetarian food available which tastes so good and reasonably priced. I especially liked the vada pav. I do not have pictures of the restaurant, but if you are in Thane and in that area, you should visit this.
It is located near Talao Pali. The first floor provides parcel services and the first floor has a sitting arrangement. It is a near and clean place and they have diversified their menu.
Their speciality is Misal pav and the taste is the same all these years .
Newly added menus include thali, south and north Indian dishes as well.

Located just above mamaledar misal where you can order mamaledar misal . This place is crowded and one has to stand in queue for sometime to get seat. Apart from misal you get some other good authentic maharashtrian cuisine and dosa uttapam also . We tried misal, vada usal and dosa . Everything was made nicely .
The best option for fresh and delicious food. Has lunch options as well. Maharashtrian, south indian and punjabi food all under one roof.
