Liked the taste. The ambiyance is good. This place is has good options for thalis. You can get your syomach overloaded in one thali itself. Try the chicken tandoori thali its awesome. We tried chicken malvani and chicken kolhapuri too. Both were good . The most ravishing was the tandoori platter. It was yummm and sufficient enough.
In case you like to eat with peace this is the place. Food is good but bit pricey. Staff is nice. Had ordered national soup of some country don't remember the name but was good. Chicken finger nah.. not great.. just crunchy no taste. Graphic bread was good and a schzewan rice and Manchurian gravy good enough.
The name is definately different from usual but i like the sound of it.
The restaurant has less seating capacity due to its compact structure. The staff is less in number too and they seldom attend you when you want them to. You need to be patient sometimes and not be in a hurry.
Now let's come to food. Menu got mainly seafood which is really famous but even the menu is created thinking of non seafood lovers. The have menu full of thalis i.e. Surmai thali, Pomfret thali, chicken & Mutton thali. They do serves veg thalis also.
We had fish thali (Surmai & Pomfret). Size of Surmai was huge and all the fish items served were fresh. You may even try the a-la-carte. Their vegetarian preparations are good too. Solkadhi that they serve here probably the best.

Excellent seafood restaurant in thane. They have regular offers going on do enquire. Slightly expensive with cheapest thali at 390/- but you wont be dissappointed. The quantity and taste in good.

One of the best places in Thane for food. must have Is the tandoori Thali and also the cocktail offers that they provide. The interior is like a plane and the butler is well dressed in his coat.
Has a very good potential to increase outlets.
Also prawns size is just amazing. Must try is pomphret fish which they first show you before preparing. So indirectly you have an idea of size of fish portions.
Not to forget the taste was also very good.

The ambience has the aircraft like interiors. Food that we ordered tasted well. Do not go for chicken handi thou it tasted bland. Kitchen closes at 10.30 pm so order early. Supreme Court order of banning alcohol within 500m is applicable here so no alcohol served here.
Experience the seafood thalli at the ' Flying Butler', if you are looking out to try any other thalli other than seafood try the 'Mutton Malvani Thalli' which is good. As for the fish thalli go in for the 'Malvani fish thalli' with pomfret as the choice of fish.
The waiters will tell you that the fish in the thalli is small so order another one, trust me Do'nt, just go in for the fish offered with the thalli its fresh and enough for one person.
Overall experience at the 'Flying butler' was good,especially the warm hospitality of the waiters, capitans and manager was truly wonderful, these person Akshay was smiling from the moment we entered till the moment we left..
