Went there for a short date with fiance as we were invited there. We had the maharashtrian mutter kachori and sol kadhi to go. It was just so delicious. the kachori was crispy from outside and spicy, tandy taste of the filling just melted in the mouth. And solkadhi was one of the most authentic ones tasted in the city. Plus the decor was something to really look at. Proper maharashtrian vada feels. The staff was really courteous as well. Had a talk with manager too and had a really good experience.
Purnabhrama is a restaurant based on maharashtrian food culture from different parts of Maharashtra.Its a spacious place with a balcony seating arrangement as well.Regarding food I would say the food is not bad.we ordered the following

Purnabramha is authentic maharatrian cuisine. We had a great dinner there. Tried mas vadi, pudachi vadi, mutter kachori, piyush, solkadhi and a thali. Pudachi vadi was very unique and tasted very first time. Even the mas vadi was unique. Thali was very elaborate with sabudana vada and bhaji. The pithala was very tasty. The Rajgira shira was new to taste. Basundi was nice with less sweetness suits my taste. Overall a good experiance. If you want to try very different and unique marathi delicacies then this is the place for you. I will try other dishes next time.

Anna he purnabramha! A perfect Maharashtrian style restaurant with recipes from all corners of Maharashtra on their menu card. Although the menu is Maharashtrian pure veg, the list is exhaustive. Right from the welcome drinks to desserts, there is a huge variety to choose from. The taste is fabulous. The service is top notch. Ambience is beautiful. They even have bhartiya baithak on the top floor along with the normal seating arrangement.
We had tried Piyush in the welcome drinks section. It was literally full of dry fruits and perfectly sweet. In the starters, we tried Pudachi vadi and Mutter kachori. Both were too good and a must try. In the mains, we tried kajuchi bhaaji with phulkas. The phulkas were lovely and the kajuchi bhaaji was good too but we had expected to have whole kajus in the gravy which was not the case. They had made kaju paste and had added only 4-5 kajus for garnishing. Then we tried mugachi khichadi with kadhi which was very nice. In the desserts, we tried khava poli which is again a must try thing. Even the basundi was great.
All in all, we had a great time here and we'd surely be here again.

Maharashtrian cusine is extremely homely.. wide range cuisine, with some interesting dishes in their breakfast and snacks menu or in lunch and dinner menu. Whole lot of indian spices and still simplicity feel is their in Maharashtrian food. #maharashtrianfood

An Authentic Maharashtrian vibe 💯✨
Anna visited this place with some intense urge to try authentic Maharashtrian cuisine.
What he had -
1. Solkadhi - A pink colored drink, which tastes slightly sweet slightly sour, made with Coconut Milk, Kokum, salt and slight hint of Chilli Garlic paste. It's a popular drink in Goa and Konkan region of Maharashtra.
Your meal is incomplete without this!!

2. Pudachi Vadi - These are fritters made up of Besan batter and coriander (kothimbir), served with Green chutney. This too was new to our tastebuds. You would never get to try it elsewhere! It's of Nagpuri origin.
3. Matar Kachori - Now this one truly wins heart!
Absolute delight!!!
This may look like an ordinary Kachori from outside, but you open it, you'd see green colored stuffing made up of soft mashed spiced green peas.
This was mind blowing!
4. Puran Poli
This one has left anna Craving since yesterday. An epic Maharashtrian delight. Hot and soft Puran poli with ith lot of ghee and lot of sweetness, doesn't this make you crave for one??
Anna in enthusiasm poured a lot of ghee. Now, Expecting some extra pounds. 🌚
5. Snacks Platter
A plate full of assorted snacks like Batata vada, kanda bhaji, sabudana vada, kothimbir vadi, and matar Kachori.
6. Special Full Thali
If you are confused and do not know what to choose from, jump to thalis!!
This one had Batatyachi bhaji, poli, puri, varan (daal), pitla, sabudana vada, kothimbir vadi, thecha (a spicy pickle that can burn your tongue 💯), mango pickle, metkut, Kokum sharbat, kadhi, basundi, rava sheera, special rice.
So it covers everything that you might think of trying.
Purnabramha should be in your list if you love or if you want to love Maharashtrian food.

We went to Purnabramha Restaurant for first time for dinner purpose. Place is awesome for family dine out. Atmosphere was great with soothing songs. Staff welcome us with smile. This is kids friendly restaurant where they provide drawing activity for kids. They have seperate menu for kids which is awesome as my daughter loved it. Very fresh, authentic food experience I have in Purnabramha. I will definitely suggest to others to take a experience.

Amazing experience of maharashtrian food with various options in sweets and spicy dishes. For kids there is separate menu as food for adults is pretty spicy for kids. Thank you for excellent food and service with great ambiance. A must try restaurant !!!

Purnabramha is a authentic Maharashtrian food restaurant located at Manpada. The Maharashtrian cuisine has subtle variety and strong flavours and varies from region to region. Ambience is pleasant. They have an option of traditional seating (baithak) to have your food like in maharashtrian house hold.
Things we tried :
💠 Matar Kachori -flaky crispy, deep fried kachoris filled with spiced peas filling. It's perfect from texture to the taste.
💠 Misal Pav - curry was made with sprouted moth beans (matki), topped with farsan and served with three pav. Nothing great but not bad either.
💠 Pithala Bhakar Combo -Simple pithala served with jawar roti , stuffed brinjal, thecha and onion was tasty & yummy !
💠 Thali - Everyday they have a thali which is based on a cuisine from a specific maharashtrian region. We tried Saturday's Shree Gajanan Maharaj Thali which contains Sabudana wada, matar ka chori, patodi rassa, brinjal bharta, dal, kadhi, simple rice, bhajibhat, papad , basundi and shirvale. Quality and quantity were good and tasty too.
💠 Puran Poli Ice-Cream -Puran poli fans, you must try their puran poli ice cream.
💠 Gajar Halwa - Gajar halwa is bursting with awesome flavors.
Overall, if someone wants to enjoy authentic Maharashtrian food then must visit.

There is an old shloka (chant) recited before the meal.

Jivan kari jivitva anna he purn-brahma
Udar-bharan nohe janije yadnya-karma
It means
While having food, take the name of God, this simply leads to completion of fire ritual towards God. Food sustains the life hence it is Purna Brahma. In short respect food and just don’t eat for sake of filling your bellies.
That was to much gyaan right😬. We will move towards actual review now, Thursday family meals are generally pure veg and this place was recommended by a dear friend. I went there along with my family and trust me it went all well, start was fab and end was simply superb.
We ordered Kothimbir Vadi and Mattar Kachori, these were one of the finest I ever had, crisp on outside and full of flavours from inside.
For mains we had Special Purankot Thali and Aamras Puri, well everything was right from Vada from thali to Puri accompanying Aamras were superb, Puran Poli literally melts in your mouth. Must try indeed.
In drinks we had Mango Piyush which was thick and good in taste, I loved their Sol Kadhi and it is at par to sol kadhi that my mother makes. I wish I could have had one more.
We ended our meal with Ukdiche Modak, soft and juicy from inside, possibly one of the besg modaks I have ever had. You will need to order it in advance since it takes time for preparation.
Ambience: It is mix of baithak (seating) and fine table dining, was surprised to see people eagerly waiting to occupy baithak. The old charm is catching up with people of Thane. It also has couple of marathi books and Puneri Tilak Topi which you can use as prop to click photos.
Service: Servers are soft spoken and are very good with recommendations, service was not impacted even though they were short of staff today.
Parking: Four wheeler is little difficult, however not impossible
Value for Money: Pretty reasonable for the quality of food they offer, IMO cheapest in that area.
My Take: If you want to have traditional Maharashtrian cuisine head to this place without shadow of a doubt.
