The place looks iconic and very aesthetic as they have still maintained the old charm. Mentioning the items we had and their respective reviews-
1. Masala dosa- good crispy and masala was also nice.
2. Vada- Too good as very crispy and not that oily.
3. Porotta - it was fresh, hot and smooth.
4. Beef roast - very good, nice flavour and soft meat.
5. Chicken cutlet - even though chicken piece is rare the cutlet was good.
6. Coffee- this was the only item we had a bad review as it had a smoky flavour.
7. Black tea - good.

Known for its spiral architecture, Indian Coffee House Thampanoor is one of the oldest hotels in Trivandrum. Usually congested. Takes time to get orders served because it's very busy. Customer service is good. Price is economical, but food quantity less.

This time I tried Chicken Biriyani. It was good. The authentic ICH taste. For those who are coming by car, parking can be an issue. However, if you are looking for a tidy place with good quality for a reasonable price, this can be one of your options.
Lauri baker’s unique architecture adds a zest like no other to this institution of a place. Absolute light on the pockets, moderately high on taste and bang on the buck for aesthetics. Whenever I visit Trivandrum, the visit isn’t complete without coming to coffee houses. This has to be one of the most unique coffee houses in India amongst a host of them which they have all over India. We tried their cutlets which were great, biryani which they do decently and an okay tasting coffee. It’s usually served mild, ask them to make it stronger.
By the Indian standard an interesting, clean and kind of must visit place. A round structure resembling a tower and 32 tables arranged in that manner...... Food to taste and prices to match....

The architecture is beautiful. A spiralling structure that stands out. And the food is affordable. Wide variety of options, but my favourite is the classic masala dosa. Also, the cutlet. However, the snacks may not always be warm.
Located at a stone's throw from the Trivandrum station, this cafe is easy to spot since it has a unique structure and a dark brown exterior. I typically loved the way it's build wherein the tables are positioned adjacent to the outer walls and the path inside is spiralled all the way till the top like a lighthouse. The menu is limited though, but it covers most of the items from snacks till main course. The food is really tasty and the prices are really light on the wallet. One can expect to get a nice satisfying meal over here. My recommendations are to try the Chicken biryani, Medu vada and the dosas from here. Plus the service is quick and the waiters are really friendly( All the people who serve here have a typical outfit ). I had visited this place with my family and had a really great time.
P.S - It's really old, had started in 1990.
