The view from the lighthouse is amazing. Can view the sea to the horizon. Get a 360 degree view of kovalam, beach and the sea. Reaching the lighthouse and climbing up to the top is a challenge. Though there is a lift, but narrow stairs need to be climbed to reach the top.

Best lighthouse in India, hands down. Check out the pics attached. Visited around noon which turned out to be the best decision, no crowd and it was quite windy, making weather nice.
A wonderful experience. The View from top gives you peace & cool your mind. Can see the view of sea & Kovalam Beach. You can collect the ticket from counter, vehicle parking facility is available. There exists a cafe to have loght food.

A lift is available to take visitors up a few floors from where you have to climb a ladder to reach the top. The view from here is excellent. You can see the see fishing harbour, the masjid, the church and the Kovalam beach.
