Great place with good food and nice ambience. Service is decent, could be termed a bit slow, but acceptable. Food is pretty good, though Chicken Roast tasted different than what you find in mid/south Kerala. Biryani was yummy and portions were pretty good. Prices are very affordable, considering the location, ambience etc. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the vicinity. They have a few parking options and you should be able to find one if you aren’t too late for lunch.

The restaurant offers delicious food and warm hospitality. It's conveniently located, easily accessible even in regular traffic. A parking lot is conveniently situated just opposite the establishment. The staff is attentive and efficient, contributing to a positive dining experience overall.

Had been to the resturant, they had customers in waiting from our arrival to departure. Good food and excellent service, despite their working in fullload( could not have been more loaded. They were calm and efficient in service.

The restaurant is superb, providing tasty food at reasonable price with good ambience & service except for an instance when we ordered special chicken curry. It was super spicy 🥵 & uneatable.

A nice hotel with great ambience and service. I went there with my colleagues the food was nice and tasty. The wait time was a little lag, we order different grill items all were delicious and yummy.

Akshaya hotel is a very familiar name amongst Thrissur locals. Apart from the Beef fry which Akshaya hotels are famous for, following are the menu items I like from this Punkunnam outlet: 1. Fish curry meals 2. Mutton kuruma (by morning 8 am) 3. Masala dosa 4. Chicken roast 5. Appam (not upto Salkaara/Paragon level, but decent ones. Available by morning 8am) 2 Parking grounds are available at either sides of the main road. But at peak times still there is availability issues.

Located near Punkunnam Junction, it is of the best restuarants in Thrissur town. The food was of decent quality. The portion size was also adequate. The service was also very nice. The staff was very courteous, attentive and welcoming, making the dining experience great.

Very spacious restaurant with good ambience and top notch service. It was my first time and I went there with my family in the afternoon. We waited for about 15-20 mins to get seated because hotel was really crowded. Apart from that food was delectable and both veg and non veg menu has got wide variety of dishes to choose. We ordered meals, karimeen (pearl spot) fry and chicken biriani all were delicious. Parking facilities also available. The staff was attentive welcoming and friendly making the dining memorable. The hotel was immensely decorated with beautiful flowers and green leaves both indoor and outdoor which helps us to remain calm during the waiting time😂. Overall, had a good lunch there with my family.

I had packed vegetarian food and the taste was 5 star 🌟 but the parking experience and the waiting was long. Suggest take an order and get the package deliverd to the vehicle at the parking lot... a customer deserves a small token of help ... doesn't we... it doesn't feel good fighting on the NH with other drivers or sending kids to collect food... Food is awesome... don't miss a chance to dine out at Akshayaa... too good

Good food. Akshaya is best for the Non veg cuisine. Duck curry and chicken biriyani , Masala dosa I have tried and it was very nice. Finding parking can be bit difficult as the hotel is crowded most of the time. It is situated in Thrissur Kozhikode highway and just 50-100 Mtrs away from Poonkunnam junction.

They totally live up to the hype! Must try is their duck roast for lunch! The cheesecake in a jar is great as well! And breakfast is totally awesome! Appams, egg roast, noolappam, puri bhaji, everything for every member of the family!

A good restaurant with plenty of options to eat. A dedicated parking ground is available. Staffs are also cordial with good service. I had ordered Ghee Roast & tea which tasted good. Would definitely recommend.

Located in a very convenient spot having lot of parking space opposite to the restaurant near the highway. Immensely decorated with lush green plants and flowers in front of the multi storied building. The dining hall is very large and indoor plants are beautifully arranged in the two sides of the dining.
