Great place with good food and nice ambience. Service is decent, could be termed a bit slow, but acceptable. Food is pretty good, though Chicken Roast tasted different than what you find in mid/south Kerala. Biryani was yummy and portions were pretty good.
Prices are very affordable, considering the location, ambience etc. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the vicinity.
They have a few parking options and you should be able to find one if you aren’t too late for lunch.

Had been to the resturant, they had customers in waiting from our arrival to departure. Good food and excellent service, despite their working in fullload( could not have been more loaded. They were calm and efficient in service.
The restaurant is superb, providing tasty food at reasonable price with good ambience & service except for an instance when we ordered special chicken curry. It was super spicy 🥵 & uneatable.
A nice hotel with great ambience and service. I went there with my colleagues the food was nice and tasty. The wait time was a little lag, we order different grill items all were delicious and yummy.

Akshaya hotel is a very familiar name amongst Thrissur locals.
Apart from the Beef fry which Akshaya hotels are famous for, following are the menu items I like from this Punkunnam outlet:
1. Fish curry meals
2. Mutton kuruma (by morning 8 am)
3. Masala dosa
4. Chicken roast
5. Appam (not upto Salkaara/Paragon level, but decent ones. Available by morning 8am)
2 Parking grounds are available at either sides of the main road. But at peak times still there is availability issues.
