Review Restaurant - Hotel Raja - Tiruchirappalli

Had a good experience here. This place has three dining. Garden restaurant, AC Room and the normal non AC hall. It's my first time here. We have ordered Plain briyani (115₹), Mutton sukka(186₹), BBQ Chicken ¼ (114₹) and sweet lime juice ( 48₹) I really liked briyani and BBQ Chicken. Sweet lime juice was watery. I didn't eat Mutton sukka but my parents said that it was average. Prices are in moderate range. What I mostly liked it here was service. Servers were kind and customer friendly. Good food, Good service.

It's always my favourite biryani joint in Tiruchi whenever I cross the city, i make sure to visit here for biryani. Their garden ambiance at the back is good in the evenings to leisurely spend time. Though the place is known as Raja's Biryani, now they also serve and are popular for Arab styled dishes like alfaham chicken, grilled and tandoor chicken dishes.

A visit after a long time proved worthy since the dishes were not devoid of their consistency to attract the palate as were earlier. This is the reason for their remaining a reckonable non vegetarian restaurant even among many purportedly hyped new eateries of the same genre.

Located in Rockins Road. Very old and more than 50 years in business. Ample space for dining. A/C hall , non A/C hall and garden available for dining. Very good service. Huge list of varieties to select. Mutton soup is classic and must try. Actually lot of must try items .. notable ones are below Special parota Mutton Briyani Mutton soups Ginger tea Talcha Highly recommended. If you are in Trichy and passing through Trichy then try this hotel for lunch or dinner.

Traditional place. Went to the party hall. Compact. No frills. Mogul Biryani is still their speciality with crispy chicken 🍗

Food: triedn egg fried rice and chicken BBQ. Both are well cooked up to the mark. Quantity of fried rice was good and much enough. Chicken BBQ piece was good enough. Price: Fried rice was price was good and low. Chicken BBQ price looks higher side for me. Service: is good quick no long waiting. its good. Atmosphere- they have inside and outdoor with garden area. they are good and pleasing. You can try others: lodge option there, near to tirchy railway station. hotel is recommended. for family and individual also.

Best family restaurant in trichy. Best for family and children. In back side open area is available which is awesome and giving very good ambience, there is play area for kids and good seating available for families and also for bulk parties. Good quality foods and dishes are available. Recommended for family dining.

Best place for non veg in trichy. Must try are drumstick and lemon chicken. Fish fingers are also good. Their speciality is ghee parotta

Food are tasty for their level,bcz i am foodie so give 4star ,Biryani good,grill nice one,Garden area is too good

Idiyappam and tandoori chicken were tasty..However,by night 9pm barbeque chicken was not available The open space dining here is a marvelous experience...

Taste was good & ample quantity 😍😍 soo in love with their Mutton mughal briyani.! Must try.

We had Mughal mutton briyani & lemon chicken. Briyani was smooth & soft(dum) . Mutton was soft and doesn't stick in teeth. Lemon chicken was like converting a dragon chicken into chicken 65+ pouring lemon taste over it too much(kind of different taste but not sour). Quantity was more for 1 to take. Stomach was full. They will give more quantity for the money u pay . Taste was good not so bad. Note : don't eat any specials(dessert) which they give u before u have ur order food.

(Need salt above both dish)and very delicious and taste food thank you feeling better and worth it...

Just Fabulous...Try once in life time...Dishes are well cooked...

In biriyani parcel spoons not available&dalcha not enough for 2 parcels, because it's ordered for two kids

Advice to the owner, please instruct your staffs to deliver the exact item to the customer ordered. If you want to grow.

Worst biriyani ever

Chicken briyani very very tasty. But thalcha was not delicious. Taste must be improved. Please take note of it.

Great food, all dishes are prepared well... Worth the prices for sure and quantity is good as well.. However, the parking is often mismanaged and should be improved.. Visit here is a must if you cross trichy on a trip

Have already been there multiple times. They do have a/c and open garden view for the customers. Ambiance is decent, <br/>Mutton biriyani is always the ideal dish here-seasoned  chunks of meat mixed in seraga samba rice cooked to perfection. This time oil was higher than normal. <br/>Chicken chops was gravy with meat melting in the mouth.<br/>Vanjaram fish fry was apt for the meals. Chicken 65 was crispy. <br/>Non veg meals with spicy gravies was heavenly for sides. <br/>Finished off with scoop of chocolate ice cream.

This is a waste one I got a so oiled food and bad quality with proper package I hate that restaurant and zomato I want to return that order .<br/>

I'm OK ur food taste but, packing is very poor just now I received chicken gravy all gravies r leakaged how i am pay hearafter pls put proper package.

These people from raja hotel made more than one hour for the order...... that's ok I ordered veg rice but they delivered chicken rice ....very poor in service.....<br/>

Worst service. Took more than 1 hour to deliver. And the packaging and taste were aweful. Toooo spicy. Will never recommend to anyone else!!!

I am not received your food but zomota says that the order was delivered. It's worst follow up with customers & orders. Easily says that the food can't be delivered due to insufficient staff. Very worst feeling.

Taste of biryani is not up to the level of the cost. It was only average. Only mutton biryani was nice and chicken 65 is also good. Ambience was also average. Servers behaved in a very nice manner.

I ordered Mughal mutton Briyani through zomato. The quality of Briyani is very poor. The price is high but taste, rice, mutton pieces is not to that.

Pocket friendly.... Having food at home is better than having food there... Taste was good.. love those spicy and yummy taste around... Naatu kozhi kulambu was good... Biriyani was normal!

This place has one of the best biriyanis in the state . <br/>Very underrated but it has the beat biriyani.<br/>The mutton biriyani , lemon chicken , lollypop, are their signatures . <br/>They have lost their quality but still worth a try .
