The cheesy veg sandwich & pizza was really great. Will definitely recommend this Cafe to anyone coming to Udaipur.

The cafe is lakeside, but not rooftop. It's a small cafe with about 7-8 tables, and a cool vibe. Pizzas are good, and so are the tea and coffee. Good to relax in the evening

This place is really amazing, got a vibe that i am sitting in Greece, the hospitality is amazing, the food is just great and the view is alsoo very good, the bruschetta was the best

We had a quick bites and coffee after the city palace visit. the staff was friendly and the food very fresh. the menu is modern with choices of drinks and snacks. The prices are reasonable for the location and food quality. Nice little set up inside with a small sitting area.

best cafe not just for view but it's food as well. Cafe is at best location just besides the Leela Palace and at Rooftop giving best view of Lake pichola and mountains behind. Very close to Lake & Ambrai Ghat. Ambience is awsem and 'The Pizza' i have never had pizza like this, this was best pizza i have ever had and cold coffee was also something different all other dishes were Yummy without any complain. Staff is so courteous & kind to help and serve whatever we need that's the reason katrina Kaif & Ishaan Khatter visited this cafe. The most beautiful and rustic cafe in Chandpole, Udaipur. Perfect to laze for as long as you want and relish some lip smacking food. The decor is very intriguing and that's what we loved the most about this cafe. Recommendation - Veg Cheese Pizza Banana Honey Shake Service is prompt. Must visit!

We love this Cafe. Everything we ate and drank here during our week in Udaipur was excellent. Definitely the best cappuccinos we found in town (actually the only good ones), the fruit salads are amazing, and the muesli and porridge are top notch. The staff are all super friendly and will probably start giving you discounts when they get to know you. I wish every Indian town had a Grasswood Cafe.

Indeed, @grasswoodcafe is a wonderful cafe to be at with your family where you can spend time with your loved ones by having a Lakeview scenery at the rooftop! And we went to this cafe at the perfect timing and that was sunset 🌇, we could see the beautiful colours in the sky plus the palace in the middle was shining and we were just enjoying ourselves by having delicious food which was farm fresh pizza, loaded fries with Mojito with Batadi White Rum 🍸. Also, had ordered this Alfredo Pasta which was super delicious and cheesey..it had veggies, basil which were giving it a perfect taste plus the cheese balls were absolutely fabulous in taste...they were just melting in my mouth that's why had to repeat my order 🤪(had ordered some more dishes like veg Biryani, rice and dal, mayo sandwiches but couldn't get time to click the photos but they were absolutely fabulous 😍) The hygiene was maintained at the cafe and there were 2 floors where people could enjoy their personal space with their loved ones by having a lake view at @grasswoodcafe ! I would highly recommend you all to visit this cafe if you visit Udaipur as it's super amazing place and I'm definitely gonna visit this cafe next time if I go to Udaipur 😁

Cute cozy cafe in the heart of the centre. Despite the location not a lot of outside noise comes in. It’s peaceful with chill music. We came here several times to relax and do some online work. Coffee is good. Love that they have vegan milk and meals available. Vegan muesli was tasty. Owners/staff are the friendliest of whole Udaipur!

I visited there every day during my stay. <br/><br/>Ambiance - Superb. Nice and cozy with with some rustic and artistic touch. <br/><br/>Staff- While many foreigners visit this place, we didn't find any difference in treatment. Staff was friendly and welcoming<br/><br/>Food - The menu ranges from Pancakes to Salads to Sandwiches to Musli to Shakes to Coffees. <br/><br/>Out of everything that I ordered I loved the items mentioned below<br/><br/>1. Eggy Cheese Sandwich<br/>2. Oreo Shake<br/>3. Cappuccino<br/>4. Cafe Frappe<br/><br/>Even tried pancakes but can be a skip. <br/><br/>Would love to visit again.. Cheers

Ordered a veggie pizza and a veg cheesy sandwich. Pizza was really good with perfect crust n perfect toppings. Sandwich was also decently prepared, had to settle for a veggie sandwich since chicken sandwich was not available. Also please order the freshly squeezed orange juice. Loved the cute and chill ambience of the place. And the server/manager was very nice and jovial all throughout which made the experience even better.

This one was such a pleasant surprise. Landed up here because it was on the list of places with Gold and it turned out to be absolutely satisfying.<br/>There's barely 3-4 tables but it has a very homely ambiance. The menu has a lot of vegan options. We ordered omelettes which were cooked well and served with some crisp toasted brown bread. The lattes are good. One surprise was the masala Chai which was quite different from anywhere else and is a must try.<br/>Very very reasonable with Zomato Gold and even without it.<br/><br/>Be sure to check it out if you pass by.<br/><br/>Bon Appétit

It is a nice small place near gangaur ghat. The staff were friendly and courteous. It is a small place with about 3 tables so it tends to get a little cramped. We had the cheesy veggie sandwich, the chicken sandwich and the masala chai (the chai is really good!). It is on Zomato gold so it is a good deal too :) #udaipur #gangaur #masalachai

We were in a rush as it was our last day in the beautiful city Udaipur and post shopping I had this urge to have chai! I recognised this cafe from far because of its blue colour. <br/><br/>But the moment we entered, bam it just felt so homely!<br/>The ever so courteous and warm host and the simple yet elegant interiors made our visit so comfortable! You just cannot be unhappy at such place. <br/><br/>We ordered masala chai and turmeric latte for ourselves and they were tasty believe me. The simple order but made with perfection<br/><br/>We thoroughly enjoyed our beverages and had a pleasant conversation but sadly it was time to leave as we did not want to miss our flight!<br/><br/>But whenever you are in Udaipur, just visit this place & say hi to the host, it’s near bagore ki haveli!

It was our last day in Udaipur and we went shopping! Before lunch I was craving chai and that is when I saw this cute lil blue color cafe from far!<br/>We entered and bam - it felt like home instantly! We ordered masala chai for me and turmeric latte for my friend cause she has cough but both the things were just so tasty!<br/>The super charming staff, the simple yet elegant interior and the variety of bakery goods - all in all, a very homely a very nice and a very economic cafe this is!

The place is very calm and perfect to hangout . The Masala Tea was very nice especially for those who are Teaholics and find Tea in udaipur a bit on the mild side (i.e. not strong ). The pizza and sandwich were also very tasty. Thanks for good time.

This is a cosy spot near Lake Pichola but the hosts didn't seem that welcoming. It was okay for a morning visit and order a cup of tea but due to lack of good vibes, I didn't return here again.

Just went to refresh the mood after disappointed experience at another place, gotta admit that I took a right decision. Ordered a Classic Mojito which was as refreshing as I expected. I love the ambience of place, I mean it's in a middle of busy outside traffic ans still it was so chilling and calm inside. Plus they have a very good WiFi (something you always expect in a great Cafe) t's a place where you just want to relax. Loved it.

Located at the convenient area near gangaur ghat, tiny place but very good food and especially good cappuccino which is very hard to find in udaipur. Ordered cheese onion olives sandwich, omelette. Taste was good and fresh, suggestion would be either use sandwich bread or reduce the price a little. Otherwise excellent

The owner of this cafe was my airbnb host and this is one of the best places for the food. It's a cute cafe with lights hanging from all sides which makes it look very cosy and homely.<br/>The hot chocolate was very yummy and chocolatey. The margherita pizza was spot on. Thin crust with just the right amount of cheese and tomatoes, olives, onions and capsicums. We also tried the chicken sandwiches and they were awesome! The were filled with chicken which was very soft.<br/>The truffle pastry is a must try if you love chocolate.

We ordered for a Nutella Pancake which was strictly average, however this little cafe has very good vibe and the owner/cafe staff is very courteous. So all in all if you are tried and need a break, head here.

The coffee is the best I've had so far in India, real barista style. The service and ambiance is great and the owner was very sweet as to offer discounts when I came back and a tissue when he noticed my eyes were red. The food and other drinks were super quick and fresh too!

Had being to this place today.<br/><br/>Its a very small location around seating of 10 people max near Ganghor Ghat. We ordered Country Veg pizza along with Oreo chocolate shake. Food was good, service was okay. Ambience was fine.<br/><br/>Owner (Ashish) was really hostile. Recommend to visit once if you in Udaipur for breakfast!<br/>

The cafe is located near the very popular, and crowded Gangaur Ghat, and right on the main road in the area. Being on the main road, it is not exactly a very private and excluded place to hang out. Also the space is cramped - there are hardly 4-5 seating places, but it's worth one visit as the ambiance is cozy, the sandwiches are good, and the coffee is better. There are books to read, and you can leave a hand-written review or read reviews by other customers which they have tacked on to the wall along with other decor.

Boy oh boy! Had never expected to find a cafe such as Grasswood in the narrow bylanes of Udaipur! Through our entire trip we came across many such cafes there, but why Grasswood stood out - open till late in the night, of all the items on their menu vegan pancakes stood out! I have not yet come across vegan pancakes here in Delhi and it was such a pleasant surprise! City's best cafe . although place is congested but still at it's best. Foreigners also visit.situated near jagdish temple. The quality of the food which they offer is just hygienic and awesome taste that you can't compare to any other .....

One of the best memory from Udaipur is coffee from Grasswood, if you are from Delhi and you have a tangy taste buds than you will not like Udaipur's food. When we got exhausted and frustrated with the local food Coffee of Grasswood has saved us, we stayed there for 3 days, we went daily, they welcome there customer with very positive smile, plus hand painted walls and handicrafts (speciality of Udaipur) will sooth your eyes. I was never a coffee lover but they made me fall love with coffee. The place serves really nice sandwiches and masala chai. The staff is courteous and double up as city guides for first timers in Udaipur. Would have given 5 starts off seating and washroom wasn't so cramped up

Well, here is one overrated place. The food is just about ok, nothing spectacular. Decent sandwiches and ok pizza. Priced at par of around 800 for two but not too pleased with it. <br/><br/>Nothing special in terms of food. Typical food you will find at 20 cafes in udaipur.<br/><br/>The seating is not comfortable and cafe owners need to understand that, you cant get away with basic stools in an endeavor to look cool. Also, the place is very small and uncomfortable due to this. Not more than 50 Sq m of seating space available. Also, the washrooms were really smelly and that's highly undesirable.

Grasswood cafe is located near Jagdish Chowk and City Palace, in a narrow lane. It's small place that can accommodate about 14 people inside and 6 people outside. There was no rush when I visited this beautiful, little place last night. I loved the interiors. The wifi password was written on a pieces of paper and was kept at every table. We ordered a Country Pizza, a Cheesy Egg Sandwish, a Hot Chocolate and a Masala Tea. While waiting for the order, I read the comments of previous visitors stuck on a wall. Most of them praised the coffee and salad in here. I did not regret not ordering any of these; I was in no mood to have coffee or salad that time. I absolutely loved the pizza and the sandwich. I will have to visit this place soon again to try their salads and coffee. <br/><br/>

A small cafe near the lake, it's a cozy corner filled with messy art and abstract decor. Constantly filled with foreigners, everything about the place gives a hippy and chill vibe. The service is a little slow as there is only one person handling all the orders, but the food is totally worth the wait. So come here with time to spare, sit and enjoy the surroundings.

It is quaint little cafe tucked in busy lanes of Udaipur just a stone throw away from Gangauri Ghat of Lake Pichhola. <br/><br/>With quirky and current decor this place attracts and people seem to spend some time here. Menu is written on a chalk board offering both veg and non-veg options for food and various kinds of drinks.<br/><br/>We ordered veg sandwich (non grilled) to go and had cinnamon tea and lemon iced tea there itself.<br/><br/>My husband who is an ardent tea lover loved the tea, he just said that cinnamon sprinkled on top was a little heavy handed. Iced tea was also good.<br/><br/>When I gave the lady on the counter the specifications as to what I wanted to have, she gave me the perfect suggestion for the sandwich and I loved it.<br/><br/>Service was quick and service staff was very courteous.

A really cute coffee shop. The masala chai was fabulous. The staff is just so friendly, competent, and professional. <br/><br/><br/>The coffee aroma is just so enticing. <br/>Grasswood has a very nice soothing vibe. Very nice graphics. The tiny tables made from cane poofs lends a nice touch.

We just took away few fruit plates as we had a train to catch. Each plate costed Rs 150. But the quantity and the quality of fruits did not justify such a high price tag. It appears pricing is done keeping in mind foreign tourists who flock these areas.

Grass wood Cafe serves good food and non alcoholic beverages.<br/><br/> I had their chicken sandwich which was a generous portion size and quite tasty and a cup of masala chai. A cute little cafe which doesn't look quite eye catching from outside but as soon as you enter the place you can't stop praising it's decor, ambience and beauty. Food is pretty good. Servers which are probably the owners are really nice and helpful. Just one problem is that it is expensive as compared to the portion of food and doesn't have much variety.

I was super hungry in late night, and Graswood saved my life with their delicious sandwiches. Workers are nice and they care about us. They played my friend's favorite song. Such a polite attitude. Cost was 360 for 2 person, and service was 10/10 👌

Been here quite a few times now... But always just had coffee either hot or cold went off... Never get the chance to eat something... First things first... Moment you enter you realize that they serve coffee because the aroma you get inside this cafe is a treat for your sense... Decorated nicely with local crafts , seating is also retro... Small & cozy place...  Have tried there cold coffee's, Hot Coffee's & sandwiches.... Menu is very small & if you are vegetarian there are very few items you can choose from... All i all the coffee is good & is prepared with perfection.... Sandwich is prepared in brown bread & they toast it very well... The filling is also nice but it felts as you start to eat... The only thing which can be a negative point is they charge too much at least in case of sandwiches... A vegetable cheese sandwich cost 170 bucks that's high for this locality.... Everything else is just great from aroma to decor to taste & really humble & polite staff..

The very first place I have rated 5/5 on Zomato (Though I m not a lenient critic). Apparently from outside, it did not amaze me but the moment I entered this cafe, I was blown away by the pretty little things they have used to make ambience soothing. So far as taste is concerned we ordered Maggie, Cold Coffee and Cappuccino, they were simply delicious. Just a cafe worth going over the other over rated cafes of city area.

Nice place. Quite expensive for the quantity they serve. A drink comes for 150. A sandwich for 150-200. I ordered a tuna salad which was served with two slices of bread and it turned out to be good. I won't complain for quantity as far as the Tuna salad is concerned. It was sufficient for me.Cozy place. Good for catching up with friends.

Vegetable Cheese and Egg cheese sandwiches were extremely delicious. Probably one of the only places in Udaipur which serves soy milk and vegan options. Very friendly management.

A cute little cafe, just next to my hostel Moustache. Loved the Fruit Museli yogurt here. Green Tea n Masala tea were regular. The Cheese Omelette was amazing. Half fried was just average, while Egg n Cheese Sandwich was yummy!. <br/>Service is a little slow, but the staff is courteous :) . Grass wood cafe is a little cute cafe situated near bagore ki haveli in Chandpole area. The walls of cafe are done with mix of pinewood & art. We were not very hungry when we visited this place. Rather we were looking for something to drink. So we ordered for Green Apple Mojito & Chocolate Shake. To my surprise they were actually using Hershey chocolate sauce in their shakes. Even in Delhi, most cafes prefer to use cheap alternative of Hershey such as Cremica sauce etc. Anyways shake was delicious and thick. Full marks for that. Taste of mojito was okay. They can further improve it with addition of lemon wedges and mint leaves in it. Little muddling can go long way for the taste. We also ordered for butter jam toast. They serve brown bread toast along with sides of butter and jam. Apply as per your taste and preference. The host (who is most probably the owner of the place) was kind with us. Service was fantastic. If you are in Udaipur, you must visit this place for some good food and service.

This place is killer, dam good sandwiches. I had the Chicken sandwich and ice tea both were like lipsmatchingly good. Ambience is good and the owner i think Ashish is very freindly. Good place to have a coffe. We had a cold cofee too it was like d best.

Our wonderful stay at Udaipur ended with amazing hospitality with this cafe, where we picked up veg sandwiches for train.<br/>The owner was very sweet and suggested the moat appropriate meal for take away...i wanted less cheese in my meal just to be light, and they made the perfect sandwitches with freah vegetables cut which was worth the wait and were absolutely fresh wen we had them in evening.<br/>If we visit again, this cafe will be definetely the first place we qould hog to.

A small but very nice cafe. We had veg sandwiches here for takeaway and they were simply amazing. The coffee and desserts also looked very tempting though we couldn't have those as we were quite full. The owner was very friendly and the place has a very nice and fresh feel. Definitely a must visit place when in Udaipur.

Great place to have a meal. The host/owner is a really friendly person. Tasty food. Totally Amazing. Must visit place if you're looking for a chill out meal with your friends/family.

Missed out on the coffee unfortunately but these guys made up for it with mindblowing oreo thickshakes and nice marsala teas. Food could improve but this warm, friendly, quirky place provides a welcome oasis within the chaos of the city centre. They also use bottled water for everything. Great joint

Undoubtedly one of the the best coffee is served here. Located just adjacent to the foot bridge on Lake Pichola near Chandpole, this cafe is absolutely amazing for its excellent preparation and courteous service. There is never a dull moment as one finds young revellers here every time of the day. Easy on pocket and warm with the heart, a must Go around Pichola.

I felt in love with this place when I had their Tuna+egg+mayo+cheese sandwich which turned out to be awesome. Ambience is nice and well lit. I also had expresso and a cold coffee, both were good. For breakfast their Musli Fruit bowl was very good. Last but not the least, their omelette was so fluffy and well cooked, it was yummy. Must visit place in Udaipur for breakfast or lunch.

Perfect place to start your day. <br/>Coffee was good. The fruit salad with yogurt was too good. Veg. Cheese sandwich was ok in taste. This little cozy cafe is well decorated with wifi facility and friendly baristas. <br/><br/>

These guys serve some awsome breakfast..<br/>Tuna egg sandwiches...cereals..peanut butter sandwiches..cereals..oats..lemon ginger tea..<br/>And the management is pretty friendly..<br/>Love the place..<br/>Feels like home

A small cafe at the corner of Ganghaur Ghat.. The cafe is bit small.. hence long waiting time as it is always full. So You might have got an idea how the food would be... A nice and huge variety of tea/coffee... Sandwiches are good.. Toasts with Jam must try. Fruit salad is the best.<br/>Must go place but u have to wait.
