Early 2023, had the opportunity to visit Udaipur and, as always, I made it a point to explore the local culinary scene. In my quest for authentic flavors, I stumbled upon Jayesh Misthan Bandar (JMB), a renowned sweet shop located near Chetak Circle. With a rich history spanning several decades, JMB has firmly established itself as an iconic institution in Udaipur.
During my visit, I indulged in a variety of sweets and snacks offered by JMB. One particular highlight was their pyaz ka kachori, which has garnered a devoted following in Udaipur. The unique combination of flavors and textures in this snack truly impressed me. Additionally, their milk sweets and cashew-based delicacies like ghevar and kaju patisa were simply the best in town.
It's worth noting that JMB does not provide seating facilities or parking options, which might be a drawback for some visitors. However, these minor inconveniences are easily overshadowed by the exceptional quality of the food. Each bite I took reaffirmed the reputation and legacy that JMB has built over the years.

We are going for eating only Gaver with Rabdi. It was good taste and we take around 1.5 kg that items for tasting for 12 to 13 couples. We all enjoyed and very nice taste. 1st we go fateh sagar lake and then after we go for chwtak circle much people know about this place. It was nice experience with them.
Its an iconic sweet shop of Udaipur located near Chetak Circle.
I dont think they offer any seating so you need to eat right outside their shop.
Please do try their pyaaz kachori with chutney. THE best pyaaz kachori available in Udaipur.
Their Dal kachori is avoidable and mawa kachori was okay (neither good nor bad).
They’re located on the main road so parking wont be a problem here.
Try to go here early as this place is always crowded.
one of the BEST shop for having pyaz kachori, lassi and mirchi vada. We tried all of them and took pyaz kachori parcel for home as well. We also had ghevar, kaju patisa and hing sev. All items were nice. Recommanded place.
This place is also a hidden gem of Udaipur. I was there in Udaipur for 4 days and literally had my breakfast here everyday! Onion kachoris are love. Mirchi ka pakoda, jalebi with rabri are a must try. Very reasonable and scrumptious it is. Worth every single penny!
JMB is known for its delicious pyaaz kachori, offering a tasty treat at an affordable price. While the prices are reasonable, be prepared for potential crowds due to its popularity. The imarti is another standout item on the menu. However, parking space can be a challenge, so plan accordingly for that aspect of your visit.

When travelling to a new place, I make it a point to try out food local to the region which for me is the real experience! This time, the destination was the City of Lakes – Udaipur which meant Pyaaz Ki Kachori and Mirchi Vada was top on the list to try. Jayesh Mishtan Bhandar was a chance find while traversing through the city and we soon realized it was one of the famous spots as well.
After reaching here, we realized it was not only the two items that we had come for but it was rather a bhandar of sweets and savories that were on offer as well. Tried a few, packed a lot to savor it back home for days after we return. Sweets high on taste and Savories high on spice level !
After we were done food shopping, grabbed the two items that we came for. Pyaaz Ki Kachori with all the chatpata chutneys to add on, the same topping for the Mirchi Vada and relished it while on a tuk tuk ! Experience it and you will not be disappointed. If you are trying to experience local food have the palate for it, uniqueness is what makes it stand out and that’s the new we are looking for ! Cravings definitely satisfied !It’s good but its heavy, so if you are going to have these and more, then its probably a meal in itself. Go for it !
It is located at near Chetak Circle. Kachori lovers will find this place pleasant. Here there is a good variety of kachoris, such as onion kachoris, Dal kachoris, and sweet kachoris. Additionally, sweets are also prepared very well here Imarti Gulab Jamun Cashew Katli Rasgulla Bengali Sweets, etc. You get prepared all the time. It is for this reason that a lot of people are seen here.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Jayesh Mishthan Bhandar (JMB) Sweets in Udaipur, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The quality of their sweets is truly extraordinary, and their service is impeccable. I highly recommend trying their Malai Ghewar and Kaju Patisa; both were absolute delights. JMB Sweets in Udaipur is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth, and I can't wait to return for more delicious treats.
