Lago Restaurant

Our serendipitous discovery of Hotel Lago, a restaurant near Gangur Ghat, proved to be a delightful dining experience. Perched on the rooftop, it offered a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire Gangur Ghat. We were fortunate to find it relatively uncrowded, allowing us to fully absorb the enchanting scenery. Our culinary journey commenced with the Chicken Rajasthani Masala accompanied by Tawa Roti. The dish was an explosion of flavors, a true gem that I wholeheartedly recommend. The richness of the Rajasthani spices blended perfectly with the tender chicken, creating a taste sensation that lingered on the palate. Moving on to the main course, the Jeera Rice and Dal Tadka were a satisfying choice. Both dishes were well-prepared, offering a comforting and flavorsome combination. However, the Schezwan Fried Rice left much to be desired. It lacked the punch and zest that one would expect from a dish of its kind, rendering it a disappointing choice. In summary, Hotel Lago is a fantastic choice if you seek a dining experience coupled with a captivating view. The ambiance alone is worth the visit. I would certainly recommend giving it a try, especially for those looking to elevate their dinner with a picturesque backdrop. It's an experience that warrants at least one visit.

This place is so well made that I fell in love with it. It's a 5-6 floor building with cafe sitting areas on the ground floor, 3rd, 4th & 5th floors. The 1st & 2nd floor has suite rooms. The whole cafe is well decored and the ambience is very soothing with a good view of lake Pichola. I was happy to see the whole menu had the majority of veg - non veg options. The service was quick and the staff was very good as well. My experience here with food was also very delightful. I visited here in the afternoon and was sitting on the 4th floor's open area yet the breeze was cool and I didn't feel uncomfortable for once. They serve hot food which I and my friends loves a lot and gets very rarely. So we were very happy to have it and it tasted amazing. Over all this place is worth visiting and I loved everything about it.

One of the best Rooftop restaurant in old city udaipur . Amazing food and staff also good . Mr Tinksa who attend us also nice person help for know the Udaipur city . Very nice and comfortable maharaja sitting on Roof top . Very nice best of luck @cafe lago ……

The amazing food isn’t even the best thing about this place. The people, the service, the atmosphere at this location makes it to my personal must go to in Udaipur! Challenge Tinksa to a game of stack 4 and win a free beer 😁
