A must visit if you are near Udvada, do make sure you are there at meal time 12pm-3pm and 7pm - 9pm. Enjoy authentic Parsi delicacies. Very humble and helpful staff. ₹₹. Breakfast 8am-10am.

Found this Gem of a Cafe from Google Maps. * Went here on my 3 day trip to Daman. Kinda far (10Km) from Daman but enjoyed the long drive in nature & peaceful roads. * The cafe is situated in this compound & you can get the menu as per the time. We went in the Morning & had the breakfast menu so could not enjoy other Parsi delicacies which would be available only after 12. * Breakfast was too good. We had Omelette with Sausage, Sausage Platter, Scrambled Eggs with Salami, Nutella Pancake, Brun bun & tea. All Dishes were good 😋 * Surrounding ambience is peaceful.🍃

Friendly warm hospitality accompanied by delicious food in a verdant green compound. Outdoor seating under a shamiana. It's very popular as can be gauged by the occupancy with hardly a table free. See photo. The best Parsi food experience that Udvada has to offer. Deserves 5 stars but I didn't want to seem biased. Take away also available or delivered to known addresses within the town.

In a small town like Udwada, having this place is a blessing. We had stopped over here, for breakfast & lunch, the staff are very friendly and helpful. We had ordered Parsi sev, Coffee, Poro (Parsi Omlette), Tea, Cheese Sandwich. The tea we ordered was two cups, but they gave us four cups tea and one cup coffee we ordered, so they gave 4 cups of coffee instead. This entire breakfast cost was 349 Rs, which is very reasonable for the quality & quantity they gave. Then we waited for lunch, for fish lovers this is a best place, as it is extremely reasonable. However we had Chicken Dhansak, Mutton Pulav Dal, Custard. Then we asked the management if they had any authentic Parsi pickel, they had which were made at Cafe Farohar itself and the cost was 150 Rs for 250 grams, for gajar mewa nu achar, it's not like the typical pickles we have, it's made of carrots, raisins, dates, garlic, etc. It has a sweet, spicy & tangy taste. Must try out there. I highly recommend this place everything about it is 5/5.

It was a pre-planned visit for breakfast. Reached quite late and they were taking the last orders. Loved the kheema, Akoori on toast and the classic bun maska. Caramel custard as expected was splendid. Tea had a bit of different flavour, probably of mint. Overall it was a great breakfast, unfortunately we missed the authentic lunch they serve, would definitely be back for that.

This place serves good food! We had a bunch of dishes. Sizzling prawns, chicken berry pulav, chicken farcha, patra-ni-machhi, mutton dhansak, sali boti, chapati, custard and raspberry soda. -- 👍 SALI BOTI - was definitely the highlight of the meal for me. Berry Pulav and Dhansak were good too. 👎 Patrani Machhi did not impress me. I feel like I have had better at Mumbai's Parsi joints such as Ideal Cafe. Farcha and prawns seemed ordinary too and nothing spectacular. --- Local autorickshaw driver who doubles up as ice-cream vendor also drops by Cafe Farohar to offer hand made sancha icecream to diners at Farohar. I enjoyed the sitafal icecream which we bought from him.

Cafe Farohar is situated at the 140 the year old Sohrabji Jamshedji Sodawaterwalla Dharamshala, in the quaint town of Udvada. It's a cute place that serves lovely food! 🤤 We placed our order directly from Bawa Inn, we ordered Boi and Bhangda fry in fish, crab curry, and sizzling prawn. Chef Shezad began preparing our meal before we arrived. It was a tasty meal, we absolutely loved it. Aunty Hilla is a sweetheart, witty and fun and Chef Shezad is very welcoming 😊 don't forget to try their handmade mango ice cream and chikku ice cream, it's absolute amazing (better than Naturals)!🍧

A place for mouthwatering authetic Parsi cuisine. A must go place whenever visiting udvada. Hilla aunty,Sehzad,Chirag and other members were very humble. We felt like a family. Udvada itself is serene filled with fresh air,a place to rejuvenate yourself.

The food is excellent, worth visiting, we are from mumbai hence we know the Parsi foods and culture, they are just good to quality, authentic set up, just that we reached little prior to kitchen closing the first word we heard from the Guy who came with the menu was " The kitchen is closing, order all food at once later nothing will be available" this words slightly diminished our mood, but we knew the worth of this place so we continued to dine. If in Daman and fond of Non veg food, one should visit this place
