Dairy Den is on my itinerary whenever I visit Baroda. The ice creams here are class apart, in taste, in quality, in range. Choco dip is my all time favourite.
There is some place to sit inside the parlour. Parking may not be easily available always.

We tried Cold Coffee with Vanilla icecream, Rajbhog shake and Choco shake. Then went for an Alphonso Mango one. Too much of a calorie overdose in a single day, but worth the experience.
I loved the wall art inside. Cute and trendy for youngsters to hang out. Service was also quick since the place wasn't crowded on a weekday evening.
Their menu card is extensive. It takes a good amount of time to decide what to order. The range of flavors offered is awesome!

I visited Dairy Den in Sayajigunj yesterday and tried their cold coco, and it was absolutely delicious and refreshing. The taste was amazing, and it left me wanting more. Fond memories of this iconic place. One of the earliest to bring softee ice creams into India, this outlet was established in the mid to late 1980s, and has survived the test of time. The rates continue to be reasonable and the serving size quite filling.

Dark chocolate was good as per the title and can be ordered by someone who is interested in dark chocolates rather than milky. Shake was okayish and was very sweet. Best dessert shop ever. Their super rich chocolate is to die for. The best chocolate ice cream we've ever had. We usually have super rich chocolate dipped in chocolate strands and it's only the best thing ever. Their slow sippers are also really tasty. It's quite thick and chocolatey.

Dairy Den: The place itself creates Nostalgia. I have literally been going there since time immortal. An old place in Sayajiganj serving some of the best Soft Serves in Vadodara. To be literal, I have been going there since I was 3 years old. A place which has over the years undergone some Interior modifications but their Karpegini Ice cream dispatch machines and their way of creating the swirls have remained constant. Good rich Quality of Ice Creams with superb taste and a very competitive price is what makes Dairy Den synonymous with Ice Cream. I have to be honest only tried their Chocolate Soft Serve and The Thick Chocolate Shake. Believe me I take a stand of this place only on these two tastes. It's a must visit place if you are in Vadodara and want to have some good Ice cream. This place is Family. As simple as that.

I wanted to order Tropical Boat because my friend suggested it was one of the best of Dairy Den. Because it was not in the menu that day. We ordered DairyDen special and I was really disappointed with it. It had two scoops of ice-cream one vanilla and other Chocolate which was served with plum cake rather than a brownie. The first bite of the ice-cream tasted bitter because of the cake they put up in it. Could not complete the ice-cream though. Would not suggest you to try DairyDen special

I never miss out on dairy den whenever I am in Vadodara.They are famous for there thick shakes or the slow sippers as they are officially called.Trust me it takes a lot of time to finish one glass.I had a choco chip slow sipper along with an icecream(the name of which I eventually forgot) this time.I was a little disappointed by the lack of consistency in the shake or maybe they have added some new ingredients to it.Overall its always nice to come to any of the Dairy Den outlet and enjoy a glass of shake in these scorching summers.

This place had a legacy of being probably one of the best and landmark ice cream centres in Vadodara, before McDonald's introduced the swirl they had it at dairy den. Of late I believe there are multiple options for ice creams in the city and for the want of updating their menu or process they have lost a bit of the market. They still serve decent ice creams and sundaes but definitely not VFM on quality(ice crystals I prefer only in bad sorbets) and quantity, you do get better options for the same amount. But for the legacy and foolproof consistency this place is worth a visit.

I am that person who eats no other flavour than chocolate..<br/>I recommend the Dark Chocolate (premium artisan) - it is the perfect combination of sweet and bitter, Choco Brownie (slow sipper), Butterscotch (slow sipper) won't disappoint as well.<br/>And, the Super Rich Chocolate in Soft serves is a MUST HAVEEEE! I loved the tropical boat ice cream and it was massive... The quantity that they serve is also quite adequate.. The soda pops are quite nice and have a zing in their flavour.. This place is amazing and is expanding slowly in the city. The ice creams here are just awesome and are amazing when it comes to the quantity they offer. The chocolate, swirl is their classic and can never go wrong on taste. The soda pops are a bit weird in taste but that is subjective in nature. The thick chocolate shakes are mind blowing but I would suggest that one should go for Jumbo rather than Petitè as the smaller ones are really less in quantity. Try their tropical boat ice cream to get a burs of flavours in your mouth. The dark chocolate scoop is good but I would love if they serve something which is of the bitter chocolate type. The place is a big thumbs up... It is not 350for two. In 200-250 max you can eat your heart out

The best ice-cream parlour in the city. And I could say it's definitely in top 5 in India ice-cream makers scene. The thick shakes here are madness. They should hire staff with a lil more care. Try opening in Delhi near college areas. Prices are cheaper than baskin and gives hell of a fight to it.
