Review Kala Ghoda Restaurant - Vadodara

We went for by daughters bday celebration just us so it’s a buffet system there with veg non-veg options. Soups chaat starters and drinks were served on table itself which I liked..although didn’t like the drink soup was good and few starter were not hot at all..so didn’t like taste that much.. Dahi wada was soft and spongy tasty noodles were also tasty..rest desert were not that up to mark.. One time visit not that extra ordinary.. I arranged a group of pastry as cake for my daughter as they didn’t arrange but was happy that they could arrange a candle and bday song for my daughter..thanks to the staff they were really quick and fast.

Amazing taste in both non veg and veg options. The staff is very friendly and helpful 🙂.

I am New to Vadodara, so I was searching a good restaurant to visit today(sunday) to have good variety of food and budget friendly option, so I found this one, I got the no. From google maps and call to ensure the prices (699 incl. of tax) and menu (mentioned below), listening this I made up my mind. They serve a welcome drink, which was kiwi juice (4/5), then served with Soups- chicken manchow soup (4.5/5) and veg hot and sour soup. From starters onwards self service begins. Chaat(3/5), papad Salads- mix fruit salad, chicken veggie salad, raita, hummus For Starters- tandoori chicken (4/5), mutton seeks kebab (5/5), fish fillets (4/5) Main course- one chicken gravy (3.5/5) and mutton gravy (I did not try, but saw many people enjoying it). With gravy I was served with butter roti(5/5) freshly baked, soft and tasty I even enjoyed it with rabdi(5/5), Rice options- chicken dum biryani (4/5), steam rice (buffet me kaun khata hai), veg hakka noodles(5/5) Last but not the least sweets ka khud ka buffet tha, Sweets- Rabdi (5/5), gulab jamun (5/5), fruit salad(3/5), orange pastry (3/5 too creamy), brownie (3.5/5), peda, barfi, khaja, 4 flavours of ice cream- chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and kesar, fruits- water melon and papaya. Other than food, the service was great (5/5), even the Ambience (5/5) Few things I haven't rated as they dont play major role on menu. I just have 3 photos as I was busy at enjoying meal.

Awsome food and superb atmosphere inside the restaurant. Situated near to Kala ghoda circle. Buffet opinion available for both Veg and Non veg. Variety of of food and also the quality is also good. Also they accept cash and credit and debit cards. The behaviour of the staffs are also good and very friendly. One must go and have delicious food.

Usual place to enjoy nonveg as well as veg. Buffet .... Starting from.soup to dessert everything was good.... But service is very slow !!

The place follows Covid-19 guidelines and the staff wears masks and does temperature checks which is good. The buffet lunch we went for was quite pleasant. 3 veg and 3 non veg starters are available with a wide salad variety. The main courses are fair enough with live chaat and dosa counters. Dessert usually is quite varied but sometimes there may not be much available. The staff is cooperative and friendly however sometimes there may be problems with service. The food and the view with a quite trendy ambience and the openness of the city is the best part. Go there for a lunch or dinner with an amazing view and you may not regret it.

Used to be Sayaji Restaurant. The renovation is great. Lots of new verity of food. New modern interiors look good. Ambiance is bit noisy but can't complain about it as it not management it's the noisy people. Overall great food and friendly staff.

Good service.. delicious food and good buffet spread in terms of varieties and quantities.. Overall a very satisfying experience not just once or twice but Everytime I have been to this place either with family or friends; has never disappointed me!!

Great food at Great location, overlooking Sayaji Gardens.

Service is ok, food is good. Do specify your requirement if you want something specific. Sometimes they just add too much sugar and salt at times in food, i felt. Could be my preference. Location is good.

Amazing place for Food lovers. The quality and taste of food has been improved tremendously. I would like to recon this place for personalize occasions. The location of restaurant is also giving best view of Baroda. Go, give it a try.
