Awesome taste of royal cuisines of Rajasthan. Which surprisingly wooed a strictly non vegetarian like me. Chicken daal baati, mutton matka biryani, and all other mutton preparations were finger licking good. My must go to list whenever I visit Vadodara.
Really Royal foods with Royal services of Mr. Sanjay shah, very cooperative & Best Hospitality for All. Excellent foods overall.
Specially non veg lovers can Love to visit again & again.
Gives 5 star to sanjaybhai & his Team
Lovely food and absolutely hygenic place. The ambience and the decor compliments each other.
Non veg ( Didnt tries veg) Food was excellent ... Service was good... It was under budget ... U can experience new type of Non veg ... Had good time with family ...
Simply superb.....words can't describe. ..just go and enjoy food.....mouth watering and non veg at it best
All time favourite place.... yummy and good food...I m loving it
Nice place for quiet dinner with family. The waiters inform in detail about the dishes. Food quality very good. Value for money. Thumbs up.
My all time favorite place.. Food is just awsome and delicious... Dal batti yummy... Kurkuri bhindi...
I ate dal baati in Rajwadu Ahemdabad, since den i became a big fan of Dal bati. I live in baroda so I wanted to eat good dal baati in baroda. I tried few but didnt like d taste. I googled and found khama ghani. N it met my expectation. Dal baati was just awsm. I loved it. I ordered dahi k kabab too n again it exceeded my expectation. All daati lovers shd visit khama ghani.
Personal attention by owner with suggestion of popular and delicious dishes. My regular dinner place
Must try mutton - its called railway mutton , i bet you’ll love it
This place doesnot deliver home on zomato
Tasty 5/5
Ambience 3.5/5
Service - 5/5
Overall great food, made in Rajasthani style
Great non-veg dishes especially mutton
Good ambience. Authentic Rajashthani cuisine. Polite manager/ owner and swift service. What else can u ask for. Only wayy too crowded so waiting time may try your patience. But Dont give this place a miss
One of the best place in Vadodara to eat. But the best place to eat the authentic dishes of Rajasthan. The restaurant serves the best Laal mans . The atmosphere and the ambience of the restaurant is excellent.
Awesome......
Even i order same items twice..... and surprisingly i found same in taste....
Its rarely rare to maintain.....
Thnx to chef and staff for pleasant service
Great choice for Non vegetarian food. Ambience is okay. Will need to book this place for weekends as it goes full.
Love the starters here. Also try the Dal Bati.
Nice ambience and place to have chicken dishes. Tried and starters and they were really mouth watering. Also the main course was nice. Would definitely recommend.
Had ordered:
1. Laal maas
2. Chulha Mutton with Makai roti
Both the dishes were amazingly cooked and delicious. The motton was just perfectly cooked and the gravy was rich of rajasthani indian flavours just as it should be. The laal maas here does justice to the laal maas eaten in Jaipur! Those who love eating spicy non-veg food should definitely visit this! The manager was really kind and helpful. The staff was polite and quick at service.
All the Rajasthan Lovers in Gujarat, this place is super lit with full Rajasthani touch. There laal maans is super yumm, veg and non veg both are super delicious.
Best mutton dishes in Baroda. Believe me i hv tried many reputed restaurants in Baroda but none of them come even closer to Khamma Ghani. Chicken dishes equally well. They surely can work on ambiance and capacity increase. But it may deteriorate their service and taste.
Not much pricey. Worth trying it.
The most authenticated Rajsthani cuisines.
Chef knows his job well and he knows how to cook a perfectly blended meal.
First time visit and I really love it.
Else here at Baroda, number of restaurants/food joints there, but very few can serve this kind of lip smacking varieties.
Little pricey, but then such a good quality always comes with a price and in that way, it's VFM.
Waiter or I would call a food server/food assistant - Arvind guided us well while choosing menu.
Soon to have another visit.
Fully satisfied, as else, I am easily not.
😋 😋 😋 🤗 🤗 😋 😋 😋
Spices added in food veg n non veg is awesome, mouthwatering starters n main course, must visit for chicken lovers.
Service is also fast n staff is humble too
Best Rajasthani food in vadodara.
Starters are good, especially the afgani tandori one.
Mutton roghan ghost is my favourite.
It takes time for the order to come, but its worththe wait.
Also, do not forget to indulge into DAAL BATI🤗
This place is perfact for food craving people. Taste, presentation style, ambiance, politeness of staff and owner's hospitality let you satisfy to the mark. Must be explore more and more times!
Really amazing taste of all dishes . I have visited several times . also the management is very generous staff is also very cooperative.
Only thing they need to improve upon is their rest room it was very stinky .
Food is 5/5
Quantity as per price is little less
One word for the Non-Veg lovers its “Awesome”
Everything is perfectly blended
For the spicy one try “Lal Murg” i bet you need water on each bit. Awesome place
Being a bhindi lover, I have tried their 'Rajasthani bhindi' and 'masala bhindi'. Both of them are fabulous! However, personally, I find 'Rajasthani bhindi' more suitable to my palate. It invokes memories of my travels in Jodhpur, Udaipur, and Jaipur where I had eaten similar preparations of bhindi cooked with a blend of Rajasthani masala.
The dingy interior is a downside to the restaurant.
Their non-veg food is super delicious. The staff was friendly, polite & even suggested us some good food options. Totally recommend this place. 👍🏻
I had 🍴Murg Amrapali🍴
Roasted chicken with Rajasthani spices is the best-seller among starters. It is very juicy inside and crispy outside. They serve it with tadka-chutni.
Recommended for casual/lunch/dinner.

A restaurant claiming to serve Rajasthani cuisine; and YES they do an excellent job of preparing and serving it to their patrons. If you are bored of the regular stuff then this is the place to go. The Khamma Ghani team, right from the owner to the server are courteous and attentive. I visited this place yesterday with my family at 09:45 pm. Due to a shortage of staff, they had planned to close early. However, they did not send us back. the owner requested us to wait for a few minutes if possible as they were short staffed. We obliged. Within no time, we were given a table and the owner personally took the lead to take the order.
We ordered for 1 Papad ka Shak, 1 Laal Maans, couple of rotis and chaas. Understanding that the food might be a bit spicy for our palettes, the owner immediately obliged with a portion of dahi and some jaggery. Now that's called managing customers. Khamma Ghani even offers its customer to try a sample of their experimental dishes. Which is a great way to obtain feedback and learn. Kudos to that :-)
The food was at its best (as always). The service even better. The best part about this place: they take your feedback seriously. I, for one definitely recommend this restaurant for good food, atmosphere and service.
Yummy spicy rajasthani food. Always been a fan of this place since the start of this restaurant. Haven’t visited it in a while so I don’t know but I’m sure they are still doing a great job!
First time in my life I tried laal maas here😌 and it was super hot and yummy.. Chicken Tikka and lal maas both had flavorful ness and tenderness.. I really liked its royal themed ambiance. I am definitely going here on my next visit to baroda..
Food and place both are awesome to have a nice peaceful dinner with your loved ones😊
Was here for the first time with colleagues. The ambience is quite simple and soft. Limited seating space.
Ordered the Rajwadi Baati, Daal and its accompaniments. The stuffed baati were quite impressive and tasty. Spices added to the perfect proportion and the stuffing done perfectly. Neither too soft nor too stuff. Daal had the required consistency when eaten along with a baati.
A pretty decent place to go out when craving for traditional, heavy food.
Parking space won't be a problem and they accept Paytm.
Will definitely visit again to try other items on the menu.
Ashita Bhatnagar
Thanks to the very courteous owner, we got a table a few minutes before closing time. This is a small restaurant, with not more than 8 tables. But the service is quick and food was very delicious. Cooked to your specifications especially for spice in the food, I liked what we ate. The quantity served is very good, especially for people with a good heavy appetite.
Note: No alcohol served here.

Service is deadly slow - any item ordered would take at least half an hour to serve. Plain drinking water is not available in order to push overcharged Mineral water bottles. Items are tasty , but portion is less than what it should be. A very small amount of steam rice, not properly boiled was worth 120/-...unfortunately
We were there on a friday evening for dinner after reading good reviews for the place. Following are my observations:
Pros:
# We ordered Lalmas, a famous dish of this restaurant along with few other items. The Lalmas tastes superb and I would surely go back to this place for this!! The nan was also good and soft.
# The ambiance is nice and seating is comfortable.
Cons:
# The quantity is quite less for the price.
# We were the second family to reach the restaurant. The place was almost empty. Yet there was no parking place empty before the restaurant. There was neither anyone from restaurant to guide our parking.
# There was some initial issues with the bill which was later corrected.
I have visited the place many times with friends. The food is excellent and price is reasonable. Restaurant may not be big but the ambience is well set and staff is great.
The food here was gud to the taste buds. For people who can't eat spicy and at the same dnt want to miss out on yummy starters go for Cheese chicken tikka. The Maharaja special curry was also yum. The ambience was great.. the service could have been faster. Overall a decent place to try out non veg food
One of the best places for authentic non vegetarian food. Great use of spices in every cuisine. Have been an avid patron of this joint since 3 years
Excellent service, nice food. Lal maas is a must try, just be sure that you can tolerate loads of ghee. I loved the shorbas and the desserts. Looking forward to try chicken daal baati next time.
Love this place. Unlike any other. Especially a fan of non vegetarian baatis with minced meat fillings. Hope this one stays in Baroda considering how often places shut down here.
Amazing food, especially the Lal Maas. Loved the Dal Baati too! But the churma laddoo had Ajwain in it, which made it taste a little ok. Overall, a good place to be with really good food.
A very pleasant experience altogether. The Dal bati was great, lal maas dry was spicy but seasoned well and their special for the day chulha chicken was equally fulfilling. A very authentic experience indeed. Would definitely visit again. Recommended !
Unfortunately not clicked the food pics as we were so indulged and deeply involved in having one of the best rajasthani meal with fantastic touch by its garwali chef. Paper rolls, pahadi pander, palak shorba in starters r to die for.....papad sabzi, dhungara paneer with smoky flavor, all types of daal are just yum yummmm. Owner Mr. Sanjay is offering one of the best hospitality. It was my 6th visit and just planning for next....must visit place. Also recommended for non vegetarians.
Yummmm
Decor is awsm..first impression.. Awsm...food is also authentic Rajasthani...price is also moderate..(Veg. Food)..overall great experience..
An authentic Rajasthani resturaunt in Vadodra. Hospitality is good and located in a nice area as well. Taste varies with different dishes but then every dish can't be good isn't it? According to me must have dishes would be
1. Dal Bati (Veg/Chicken/Mutton)
2. Dal Khichidi (Chicken) [though I feel quantity can be more]
3. Chicken Angara & Shikari Chicken
The daal baati is awesome here at Khama Ghani. Really a Good place for this item and papad sabji. Gatte ki sabji had only gravy and hardly any gatta.. the ambiance wasn't all that great. There were kids crying loudly in a small place. Not their fault though !
Best place for typical Rajasthani food. Their taste & collection of delicacies is originally from Rajasthan.
Dal batti, Rajasthani kadi, with rice are the most famous to have it here.
The way they attend their guests & make them feel welcomed & the warmth is really commendable.
The name itself for customers is enough to attract them & check this place out, that is,
Khamma Ghani - Welcome ( in Rajasthani).
The first thing that hits you when you enter this place is the rustic Rajasthani ambience. We were at this place for a friend's farewell party.
Quick take: Grab the seat on the left side of the door if it's available! Those low lying cushony sofas were both comfortable and "Rajasthani"! :P
The food both veg and non-veg was better than most restaurants in Vadodara.
One can go here if you are finding a place for Rajasthani food!! Though I know this restaurant only for Rajasthani food but still one of the best in this category......
So this happened when we had to give farewell to our friend who's native place is Jaipur. So with out any second thought we got inclined towards this rajasthani point as the venue. For Khama ghani being a popular place, we had great expectations. The ambience was good. The lowered sitting arrangement was quite peculiar which gave it a homely dining area touch.
In starters we had delectable shikari paneer queued up by mediocre dahi kabab. Then came the main starters listing which left us crestfallen for there were a number of things which were not available. We somehow settled up at dal batti, Rajasthani bhindi and one more paneer gravy with different combinations of bread. Dal batti with chutneys was mouth watering. Non availability of malpua, kachauri and badam shake dispirited me. But nevamind I am gonna try it next time. We had rabdi in the end as desserts after which we got complementary paan shots. Overall it was a appetising dinner. Will recommend this place to try atleast once.
Classy and impeccable attention to details are something which make this restaurant a standout amongst the swarm of other premium restaurant which vie for creating a prestigious reputation in our minds.
The food veg and non veg is delicious and the ambience as well as service compliment the food perfectly. A perfect place to take your better half.
Food was nice.
Non veg is excellent. Especially that Boneless chicken kukkad (although there were little bones but was that was detectable) and chicken seek kebab.
Service is also good.
Khama Ghani
feels like royal food served here
taste is awesome,
and after having such yummy food
u feel like god and what else do u want...............

1. Dal Batti

4. Great interiors and village like feel.
5. Friendly and courteous staff

None that I can think of.
Gave 4.5 because not every food might be accustomed to spicy food.
Definitely recommend it to a fellow foodie.
I was fortunate enough to find a daal baati churma in the state of Gujarat. They also have the lasun ki chatni as an add on. Daal here was quite delicious and also daal baati was decent but not exceptional.
- Homely food , First very Courteous hospitality by the owner himself , happy to eat lal maans after a long time. It was fresh and properly cooked with perfect marination in its own way. Thank you to bring up such a variety of traditional dishes. I would like you to suggest to open up a branch in Ahmedabad too.
If you are a big fan of Rajasthani food , this is the place. The ghee fried dal baati is the best one and worth a try which is accompanied by the native lehsun chutney , without which the original taste wouldn't have been complete. The Warm Tamatar dhaniya shorba was really soothing to the throat in this cool climate. Altogether , a very good dining experience including good service, nice ambience and quality food.
A very authentic Rajasthani outlet, in the midst of the city. Have been to this little nest couple of times for the sumptuous daal-baati....... The taste of the ghee dunked baatis n daal still lingers ............
A rajasthani food place. When I first time saw it from outside my tastebuds got activated and I planned immediate weekend dinner at this place. And frankly speaking it didn't disappoint me. They actually maintained that rajasthani taste in their food. Not only in food they have given same touch in their interiors as well. If you are a daal baati lover you can get it here. Plus that besan gatte ki sabji.. I was missing it here in gujarat. So for a change its a good place.
Very good menu for veg and non veg alike. I never knew you could get Rajasthani non veg before this place. The service is very cordial and prompt. We ordered tomato shorba and mutton shorba both were excellent and spicy (which is great to find in Baroda). The Rajasthani sabji was tasty. The ambience could do with a little refreshing. Traditional music would also make the experience better.
Will definitely visit again!
Highly recommended if you are a hard core non veg fan. It's spicy and tasty food will leave you speechless. My favourite place in baroda for non veg.
I'm usually not a fan of mutton but the Ajmeri Mutton here is the bomb. They've tried their best to make the ambience feel Rajasthani. The only bone I have with this place is that they advertise that they're open till 3:30 pm but they pretty much close at 3.
It was very pleasant and nice setup. We had Lal mass and white gravy kofta dish. Taste is really good. Bati was one of the best I had till date. Later one of the week ends we chicken limda at home also. As spices are used bring out flavour taste is awesome and you will not have heaviness out of the meal.. One of food places to visit.
Must visit if you are looking for rajasthani delicacies. Food is excellent, ambience is fine, service needs to improve. Stafglf is courteous. Sitting arrangements are fine but too cramped. must eat mutton dal baati...
It definatly is an amazing place for food lovers. People who like spicy food will enjoy more. The quality of the food is at its best. Its just that, that they take a lot of time to give the food, but as it is said " sabrah ka phal meetha hota hai". Its indeed a place worth going to.
There are times when you crave for a particular preparation from a cuisine and can't resist to try out a place offering the same, no matter at what cost. The same happened with me when I craved for the most famous combo, Dal-Baati-Churma from the Rajasthani cuisine which made us land up here, thrice in Khama Ghani and the place didn't disappoint us.
The place is posh with a dash of Rajasthan flavour added to the ambience in terms of the interiors though the seating is kept pretty much conventional. One thing I found odd was the music played. Normally, one would expect the music played to be of Rajasthani folk, one with that rustic touch. Here I found some sort of English Blues or what genre playing at the back which seemed really out of place. But not a thing to worry about. It's good enough. This ends the ambience part.
Now comes the food. The shorba I ordered was tasty. And spicy, which I always look for. One thing a person should definitely try out here is Keeme ki Potli which is like Laddoos filled with spiced keema, roughly. It was purely awesome and you'd really like that feeling of the hot keema around your palate. This is one dish which stands out. My next two visits to this restaurant were for gobbling this dish down again is not an understatement. The other starter, adraki murgh was also tasty.
Now was the turn of the trio. And we were elated with what we were served. The baatis were already crushed which saved us the hard work and the daal was hot and spicy with a thick layer of ghee at top. The overall preparation was almost perfect, you can't expect more. Churma was one reason we stopped ordering more baatis and it was equally beautiful in taste.
We tried Gulab Jamun and Chicken Biryani during our next visits and they were just resplendent. I guess this restaurant follows a conventional style of cooking which was evident from the way in which the biryani was served. It had a piece of burning coal inside the biryani pot, separating it from the preparation with a foil, to get that smoky taste. So, full points on food.
The service is an area where it falls behind, though by a bit. The orders take time to be served and this is where there's scope for improvement.
When it comes to lighting your wallet, yes, sure it might be a little more expensive. But hey, you don't get such nice food everyday.
Overall, a really nice experience in Khama Ghani. For a person who's in Vadodara for a short duration, a must try out place. For natives, pin this place as the one to dine out at, at least every fortnight.

Being a rajasthani myself i gotta say...i was really pleased with the food..the host is from rajasthan himself.. friendly n knows what is cooked..what is served wont astray from what he says..so his recommendations are worth trying..actual authentic food n ambience..definitely worth every penny..a must try..
The food here is amazing.. Pure authentic and really delicious food. Each dish has a definite taste. A place worth eating at. The host is friendly and explain the contents of the food when asked. Their recommendations are worth trying. Being a non veg lover I thoroughly enjoyed Banjara chicken, Darbari chicken, Limda chicken and Maharaja chicken ????. Apart from that Dal bati is a must try. Simple but gives complete satisfaction.
We went here on a Sunday evening and by sheer luck, even without reservations, we got a place for two.
We were served with the menu and water immediately and we quickly ordered Chicken Shorba. Then we ordered Tariwala chicken, jeera rice, lassi and fresh lime soda.
The thing that one must keep in mind is that ask for recommendations. Reason being, apart from the menu, there are a few other dishes which are available off the menu as well.
Soon after our main course order, the shorba arrived. Flavourful, rich and full of shredded chicken. Quite tasty and very different from the regular soups we get.
By the time we finished our soups, the main course items were ready and served. Chicken Tariwala had a thin, rich and red gravy. It is spicy but it is not hot. So, it makes the food flavoursome while not making it burn your mouth or tummy. We loved it.
Jeera rice, 1 bowl per person would be our reco if you are having only rice. Lassi was sweet and soda was nice as well. The onions could have been frehser.
Word of caution, please reserve before you go for the seating capacity is limited and wait times can be long; and of course, please respect your reservation as well.
We would return here to try out the laal maas and koyla chicken, heard a lot about these.
We tried rajwadi dal bati. Bati was stuffed with paneer which was very unique and tasty. They also provided churma along with dal bati. The whole plate was sufficient for 2 people worth 400rs. I would recommend this restaurant.
Ghani Khamma has recently shifted from Jetalpur to O. P. Road. It shifted exactly opposite to Tomato's restaurant.
Talking about food, we ordered Mutton Nallika Shorba and Koyla Murg. Both dishes felt totally homemade, tasty, lip-biting and very bona fide that we loved it the most.
Later, for experiment basis, we go for Chicken Dal Bati. It is Chicken keema stuffed in bati and there are small shredded piece of chicken in dal too. The taste of Chicken Dal Bati is so delicious that we cannot resist ourselves.
About the staff, the owner and staff are very good, polite and friendly. They give quite well suggestions for dishes as per our taste and it really works.
About ambience, the restaurant will definitely give vibes of traditional and authentic Rajasthani culture.
For any bad breath, they offer Pan juice which is of the level above clouds.
I suggest giving it a try for Lal Maas in the main course.
In short, it is a must visit place for some delicious and savoury dal bati and other Rajasthani dishes.
This place has amazing food!
This will be my stop every time I visit Vadodara. We tried Rajasthani paneer and non veg food. We took suggestions from the owner, he didn't disappoint us.
The hospitality of the owner and employees was next level. The owner was sincere and present and actively working and interacting with customers. THIS IS A MUST PLACE TO VISIT!!
My all time favorite "Ghani khamma".
Firstly open this restaurant at Jetlpur area and was very famous at that time. During lockdown they closed for some months.
Now they reopen at new place with same delicious food and taste. They served most of nonveg dishes with rajasthani taste.
I am sure whenever you visit this restaurant you will sure enjoy your food which is very mouth-watering 😋
I absolutely loved the food and the service. As someone who doesn't eat spicy food the owner really took very good care of us and made sure the food wasn't spicy and just perfect to my liking. I loved the experience. It is a must visit. The menu is unique. A must try for non vegetarians!
One of the finest and the best Rajasthani food I ever had. The food is super delicious and the service is superb cherry on the cake is the presence of the owner he was there whole time assuring everything is perfect and as per our taste. This place is highly recommended
The food was good, owner of the place is also humble and understand the tastes of the customer. Service was fast and hygienic.
As we went on Monday so not at all crowded.
Dining place is small for parties but sufficient for 15-20 people.
Must try - Koyla Murgh
I tried Chicken Shorba, Chicken Koyla. Chicken Koyla was really mouth watering. The owner and his staff are very polite and well behaved. Will visit again for Laal Maas.
Good Ambiance. Easy to locate. As the name suggests they do serve an authentic Rajasthani food. Must try extremely spicy lal maas, koyla chicken/ mutton, nallika shorba. Rajasthani kulfi tastes amazing.. pure kulfi and not an ice.. little overpriced.. but if you are in Vadodara then you must go here.
Great place to visit with family. They offer veg/non-veg. I had Shikari Chicken Tikka at ₹230/-
Quality 5/5
Ambience 5/5
Service 5/5
Gud place for quality food. Staff very polite n friendly. Very different taste typical rajasthani flavor
He reminds me of the chef from "The menu" movie. Excellent person cooking by himself and feed us with love and care! Visit his cozy place and taste his passion.
Excellent food quality. Period.
The best place in Vadodara to have quality non-vegetarian food. Authentic Rajasthani taste in food. Blend of aromatic spices in the food is remarkable.
I ordered Darbari Gosht (Mutton) and Butter Roti for my main course. Darbari Gosht was above par. If you're a mutton lover then Ghani Khamma is the place of must visit for your.
Fantastic food.. non vegetarian dishes are awesome.. quality is good and quite unique taste as compared to other restaurants..
The authentic Indian taste. This is our favorite restaurant in Vadodara. Everything done perfectly and fresh. The owner is a true connoisseur of Indian spices. Great food and great service. Sometimes the chef experiments with new stuff and lets us try a few things (for free)
The food and service was just amazing. Must visit place especially for non veg Lovers.
