New alka is always my go to place when I am in Baroda and their uttappa is awesome. I usually prefer the aloo paratha more since it is very tasty. Overall it's a very good restaurant serving dishes which are reasonable in price and also quality is up to the mark. Definately recommending it to touris

The restaurant is a family oriented and ambience is having a warm welcome.The menu has mainly concentrated on Chinese and south Indian varieties with it.the taste of the food is very good and the budgeted menu. Good option for the family outings and friends party.
Loved the foood and the service! They happily served us lunch at 4PM which is a blessing as most restaurants don't serve. Plus the owner is very friendly and we instantly hit it off with him as he also belongs to our native place.

New Alka is a great affordable restaurant to have South Indian and North Indian food in Vadodara. The fatehgunj branch is the best one among the Alka chain restaurants. Very Good for South Indian food, must try their Fry Idli and fruit salad.
I have visited this place many times but this time I had south Indian food !! That was amazing !! I ordered sada paper dosa ( INR 189/-) AND THIS dosa is enough for 2 people!!

Tried idli and sandwich here as breakfast in morning at 10. So not completely sure about many dishes but the taste of what I had is making me willing to go there again and explore more from its menu.
