Review Mumbai Zaika - Vadodara

Excellent food and interior. From starters to deserts everything they made with great care. Kabab and tandoors were truly delicious. Stuffed cheese kulcha was awesome. Interestingly, all the gravy tastes unique, which is rare. Caramel pudding was also good. Service was excellent. Price is reasonable. A must visit for mughlai cuisine lovers.

Today also i had visited, i tried murgh platter and murgh matka its was excellent outstanding. plz do visit this restaurant and very reasonable price, one can easily afford. If u became a regular customer then the can give u loyalty card and can get discount!

Value for money, typically the bill for 3 persons was around 1200 but it was worth it , the atmosphere was good too.n btw ya dont order chicken lollipops if u want buy more dishes cuz the size of lollipop is litreally like a finger!

We went last night with group of 9 and I must tell you the view from top is awesome you can get really good picture. Coming to food it was finger licking. We ordered Murg tandori zaika and Tandoori afghani as a starter the chicken was soft and the masala flavors were mild one of the best in town. Then in main course the gentleman suggested me raan peshawari with gravy which was enough for all 9 of us and i must tell you that dish was finger licking meat was so tender just mind blowing. I will suggest this restaurant as a top priority specially for occasions.

Mumbai Zaika is fantastic place for Non.Veg food lover. Every single non.veg food is really very tasty. Clean restaurant. And customer service and food service are brilliant.

I visited this place yesterday with my family n friends...very upset n sad to see such a restaurant exists...we entered the restaurant..first the table was set very awkward there were quarter plates turned upside down.which meant chance of dirt falling from the ceiling was evident.the fans were on for other empty tables but not ours. there were empty tables set up with plates n spoons n forks but we had shortage of them on ours. Thirdly the starters came but were stone cold. Fourth there were different waiters serving so they themselves had no clue who was serving what n what was ordered. The captain only took the order but never once did I see him coordinate the waiters,or see what was served n how..for the main course the parathas were missing for a long gap. There was no pantry stock for whatever drink we asked of their own menu..the cherry on the cake was when the waiter served food by rubbing his elbows on my niece everytime.. which means women are treated like dogs here...I visited their single washroom for women n men n I believe the sulabh suchalaya is more hygienic. Women came out of the dirty stinking washroom n changed in the open passage..so sickening..I m surprised there is no health department checking such places n shutting them down. Truly the employees there don't want to work n the management does not want business or are never visiting their own restaurant.. or possibly they live the same way..I did not want the people to see disgusting images so have not uploaded photos...forget going to this place I will never even order home delivery from such a unhygienic n disturbing place.

Food was tooo oily rice and chicken not cooked fully very bad experience, didn’t like the food at all ,rice quality is very bad feels like rubber

I do not recommend this place at all.. Soup was served cold, bland and it had some peculiar smell. There was no butter in butter chicken but only oil.. Chicken lollipop was not cooked properly... Not worth it..

I landed in Vadodara on the 14th of December and being received by a friend and hearing a lot of praises decided to visit this joint for dinner straight from the airport. We were informed upon arrival that the management had changed, and decided to give it a try anyway. We ordered a chicken tikka starter of 4 pieces which was decent and a butter chicken with butter naan which was also pretty good in taste. However, while digging into the salad, I came across a piece of chicken bone in the veg salad and informed the waiter and the manager about it. They were quick to apologize and courteous and offered us a complimentary soft drink. We were pleased with their attitude and hope they can be more careful with their quality check next time :-)

Mumbai Zaika is started with new management... new option with great services, hygienic food and mineral water... its murg musallam, mutton handi, fish currey and prawns masala is one of the best dishes.... kindly visit once there and enjoy food @ very reasonable prices...

I have ordered via Zomato with discounted offer from Mumbai Zaika. Surprisingly, Quantity is very low as compare to MRP price... Food quality is also not so good.. This restaurant needs to improve by comparing with other peer restaurants.

Food is average. But what they lack is ambience. It's eternally hot there. Very few ACs for a big area and those also do not work. There are flies. And dirty table cloths. You just can't enjoy the food even if the food is good.

Had been for lunch today. There was a one crowd with family around 20 people. And the noise they were making was very high for some 30 mins. Informed staff to tell them to reduce and overall ambiance was disturbing.<br/><br/>Taste is good, but it is hotel management to maintain the ambiance in control. Ambiance matters a lot.

I have heard that Mumbai Zaika has Chefs from Mohhamed Ali Road, Mumbai. Mohhamed Ali Road is very famous street for its Mughlai & Tandoori. So, obviously the expectations from Mumbai Zaika are very high. They have fine seating arrangement. This is the place for Non-veg. people; but yes, Veg. options are also available. Kabab is speciality of them & yes, Kababs are really appetizing there. They have many different dishes on their menu those you won’t find anywhere else in Vadodara. But, the same time availability of many dishes from the menu is very uncertain. The prices are quite higher than other places; it will cost 450 – 500 ₹ per person for good ‘Zaikedaar’ meal.<br/>#Rating: (1) Ambience - 3 / 5.  (2) Food – 3.5 / 5.  (3) Price – 2.5 / 5.  (4) Service - 3 / 5.

Best and really great Food in vadodara. Taste was really great just like eating in Mumbai.Different taste and service also fast.i personally prefer all to visit once for non veg lover.

The food was good. the interiors were also good. but the menu had very less variety like the number of items on the menu were pretty less in number and the major issue here is that there are no drinks available apart from drinking water.

Two visits till now.<br/><br/>Located close to 7 seas mall. Its in the second floor of a queue of restaurants. Yet their name plate is big enough & well lit from outside. So easy to find out.<br/><br/>Decor is very simple. Dont miss the dabba lights on the ceiling. In both my visits I tried taking seats by the glass window.<br/><br/>Now once seated begins the confusion. The waiters will be so busy that you have to repeatedly ask for water & menu card.<br/><br/>When kind or atleast after 7-8 mins usually we get them. <br/><br/>Food is served hot and fresh.<br/><br/>It comes in approx 20 minutes. Its of course better if they can make their service a little faster.<br/><br/>I recommend their Chicken Kulfi Kebab. <br/><br/>Biriyani (I tried mutton) smells good and is tasty.<br/><br/>Grilled pomphret is a good try.<br/><br/>Quantity of each dish is just sufficient for two.<br/><br/>Once I had a mutton gravy preparation which had exactly 4 medium pieces.<br/><br/>Good choice when around the 7 seas mall.

Excellent food and service. Value for money. Highly recommended, but prompt services from taking the order to serving. One of the few place serving very tasteful food. We ordered murg makhanwala along with tandoori roti and butter naan, and surprisingly the naan did not go crisp, AT ALL!

I loved this place . excellent food and service in a great location.the most enjoyable meal of the holiday. a real passion for food and oil . friendly place seriously loved it.

Though this restaurant has a good variety of non-veg food in the menu and also its quite cheap still it requires areas of improvement. I ordered a pomphret fish for starter and the staffs created a mess over it and finally i got a small piece of pomphret (a plate consists of 2 pieces) and half plate of fish tikka. They didn’t charfe for it though. The mutton quality also needs to improve.

Heard of this restaurant from a friend and decided to give it a try,so went with my another friend and we ordered SWEET CORN CHICKEN SOUP and TANDOORI FISH, the soup was horrible,the chicken chunks in soup were not fresh,corn was not properly cooked,it was like having a nightmare,the fish okay not worth the money.I would not suggest anyone to try this shitty restaurant.Peace out.
