Another place at Assi that I personally like for grabbing a quick bite and Coffee.The ambience is decent nothing too fancy. But this small place has good food too offer.

Sparrow cafe is a cafe located near assi ghat. The ambience is beautiful and nice. The service is quick. Its a good option to chill and hangout with friends and loved ones. The food is average and the coffee is good. You will like you are at home. Its cozy ambience will make u feel vouch for this place.

Food: This is a real cafe with great coffee and appetizers. I have ordered a cappuccino and some french fries, and they really serve amazing aromatic coffee, freshly grounded. The french fries were prefect, perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned and I really liked their idea of serving fries with a side salad and a mayo dip. Overall food was delicious.
Ambiance: This cafe is a very cozy place with beautiful hanging lanters. They have a outdoor seating, an indoor chair table seating and another indoor floor seating which was my favourite. Everything seems so organic here, you will get such calm and positive vibes from this place. They even have a good collection of books to read.
Service: Service was good, they personally take care of your likes and dislikes and they makes sure of it before serving. Places like this is meant to relax and calm, so don't be in a hurry while ordering.
The place is very calm and composed. Recommended by Nat geo, it's a very small and cozy place. Wonderful coffee and a great place where dogs roam around freely. Wide variety of brunch and breakfast options available.
I recently tried the omelet at Sparrow Cafe and it was absolutely delicious! The omelet was cooked to perfection, with a fluffy texture and a great combination of flavors. The filling was made with fresh vegetables and cheese, and the dish was served with a side of crispy potatoes. The cafe had a great ambiance, with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff at Sparrow Cafe were very friendly and attentive, and the service was excellent. The cafe also had a great selection of coffee and tea, which paired perfectly with the omelet. Overall, I highly recommend Sparrow Cafe for their delicious food and great service.

The food was awesome
But here is the catch ..the food is expensive
Don't get fooled around by the fact that it is recommended by NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC...but that is just the hype ..that should not drive you to go there

Banaras and Bliss couldn't be complete without these small places that pop out of nowhere and make your journey complete. The cafe is small but full. It has got a naturistic tinge-vines, plants, wooden furniture and if you are a dog person, you have hit the jackpot. My favourite place was the table on the Verandah where sun fell just right. I liked the food and warm service.
The workers were really nice to us. The food was very delicious and it was all fresh and not prepared in advance. The ambient is really nice, it feels very “homey”, and people do treat you like you are in their home. It was a great experience!

One of the best Aesthetic & Authentic Cafè in Varanasi. The best thing is homely atmosphere, peace of place, flowers around & calmness of the place. This place offers some off - stereotypical menu & the food you order is freshly prepared slowly cooked & warmly served. Red sauce pasta is the one of the best pasta i had. You can try café special "Curry Mojito". Blueberry malt is something you can drink anytime. The place offers you books to read while they prepare your food. One of the best place to visit in while you're around assi. Something offshore Something Classical Something different.
