Looking at the restaurant from the road gives you a good vibe. The atmosphere was good the light is a bit low but not bad. Service was satisfactory only the attendants needs to know about the food. Please don't go blank when asking about the food.
Now the part everyone wants to know about the food. I ordered dawat-e-khas chicken which was flavorful. Lachha paratha was too dry. The fried rice was tasty. The portion of the food was quite promising. Overall the visit was quite satisfactory.
The menu contains a wide variety of Veg and Non-Veg Food.
I tried their Veg menu. Which consists of
- Paneer Kaleji
- Sabz miloni
- Sunahari tikka
- Mushroom salt and paper.
- Asst. bread basket
- Phirni
- Shahi Tukda
*The food taste was really good and their ambiance is beautiful too. Definitely worth trying.

I recently visited Dawat-e-Khas, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The restaurant's name itself, Dawat-e-Khas, translates to "special feast," and it truly lives up to its name. The ambiance of the place is inviting and pleasant, creating a warm and comfortable dining atmosphere.
If you live in BLW or Manduadih locality and you were searching for a fine dine family restaurant then this place is the answer. This place has both Veg & Non Veg options plus the ambiance is classy and minimal. The food here is also good and the service is fast. So you can give this place a try.
A good small Mughlai restaurant serving Hyderabadi Mandi only in Varanasi, Nice atmosphere.
1.Tandoori Chicken is good for Starters and also Dawate khas Murg k Sholay
2.BBQ Chicken tasted like a finger licking dish
But the quantity was less as per the price
3. Cryspy babycorn was also nice
4. Paneer Kali mirch taste was good
5 .Dawat e khas special in main course is must have
6.Chicken Biryani was superb must have dish.
7. Chicken Mandi was also good .
Overall a must try place but one should order as per the recommendation some items are very goods some are just so so.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Dawat e Khas, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From their amazing Mandi special thali to their delightful ambience and impeccable service, this restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way!

The best place in Varanasi for fine dining. The food is delicious and the portion size is too good! I recommend trying the Sunehri Kebab and Mutton Raan.
Also the ambiance is great and you truly get the feels of being in a Mughlai Restaurant. Overall great experience, definitely on top of my list now!
