Very tastey and homely Maharashtrian Thali in Wai. This is full fledged authentic maharashtrian thali - with 2 veggies, one daal with tamarind and jaggery, curd, chapati, papad and pickle, chutney.
Daal is my favorite. Basic Thali is cheap (Rs 160 as of May 2023) and you can get sweet at additional 50-60 rupees. Food is very good on your stomach, since they don't add baking soda - you won't feel bloated.
Home cooked Maharashtrian Bramhan style thali (fully vegetarian). Authentic taste, highly recommend

Nice place to have food whenever I visit Wai. Just near the Wai Ganapti temple. Quick service, non spicy, good on stomach food. Sweet dishes are good as well. A small in-house store sells food items
Bandu Gore Khanaval is very good. They serve typical maharashtrian veg plate (thali). A plate costs INR 130 only. No charges for kids below 5 (my guess). Dessert (Shrikhand, Basundi) are serve by bowl, costs extra.
