I got confused seeing three hotels named Adi Shankar in one place. Later I had lunch at Adi Shankar Hotel located between the three. Food was good. Although the amount of mutton curry seems low to me for the price.

Very good food. Top class Bengali food available. Excellent Hisha fish (vapa, fry, masala curry with mustard sauce available. Other varieties of fishes and different Bengali style vegetarian preparation available. Excellent mutton curry available. Food is little costly compared to other restaurants / outside. Behaviour of staffs and front desk personnel is good.

Price is a bit higher but the food quality and taste will satisfy ones taste buds.

One of the best restaurants in agartala. You get hilsa fish here and the kind of hygiene they maintain is worth mentioning. However food is really expensive here. Hence it is advisable to ask for the rate before you order your food. For example a plate of fried hilsa cost 720 rupees per plate.
