This restaurant is part of hotel Areeba. Most of the crowd in the restaurant was hotel guests only who were already staying there. Apart from the food quality was okay. I orderedbiryani and it tastes good. Though service was Lil bit slow
Restaurant for tourists. Clean, spacious, large choices of tasty food. A great address for lunch or diner. Whenever i'm going to Agra, it's always a pleasure.
The food was so good and the service was also so well good & Polite... I will surely come once again if as soon as possible. Plz come & surely taste his special dish mutton bhuna.. I m loving it.
Food was good. They served the spring rolls and the lollipops with no sauce so had to ask for some hot garlic sauce. After the Taj Mahal tour I guess the guide always bring the guests here.
Amazing place to spend time with your family or friends. Restaurant is fully mughlai themed and provides mughlai dishes along with buffets. Service is good taste is awesome

This restaurant caters to tourists, which is not a bad thing. That focus in India generally means a clean place and acceptable food. Our half-day Agra guide recommended the Taj Mahal for lunch. When we arrived at 1:15 p.m.. I saw city visitors emerging from the restaurant to enter tourist vans and hired cars. Customers remaining inside seemed to be completing their meals, so we expected good service
the simple, clean interior featured an appealing blue-and-white color theme and tables of varying sizes we sat at a table for two and received the extensive menu almost immediately. Offerings included Indian, Chinese, Western, Mughlai (combination of Central Asia and North India) and vegetarian cuisine. At least 10 minutes passed before someone came to take our order. My friend and I both chose mutton, a specialty for the region, and then waited 35 minutes, watching some diners come and go. No one came to tell us what was causing the delay. When the food finally arrived, the mutton proved to be flavorful but extremely tough, making the meat difficult to eat. I opted not to finish it. For dessert, I chose kheer benazeer, a basmati and milk pudding with cardamom and nuts, which I liked.
Another long wait ensued before anyone gave us a bill. It came to the equivalent of about Rs 1200 with tax, which is rather pricey for India but typical for a tourist restaurant.
The Taj Mahal Restaurant stands fairly close to and south of the Taj Mahal monument.
ambianceis quite good . serves indian and mughlai food . i ordered a veg briyani coz i m a rice lover . so briyani was good served with raita . all over the experience in taj family restaurant was not very impressive but its was not bad.. its a good restaurant one can try it.
Beautiful restaurant and we had here Indian food , ambience was good , staff was friendly, specially chicken tikka masala was awesome and tandoori chicken also good but was very crowded .

Had Linch With family at the Taj Mahal Resturant yesterday. The service was very good and people were very courteous and good. The quality of food was also good and worth going there. Was there with family to see Taj mahal and fatehpur sikri.
Ambience .... was amazing .. coz blue z my favourite .... service .. was good .... food was awsum ..... and prices were also reasonable .... cool place ...

Stopped by this restaurant on my way back from Taj Mahal and had a great experience. Sir Dinesh kindly served our table and, although it was not in the menu, he gave us a Thali with a great variety of food so I could taste all types of indian food. Must say, the gulab jamun that came along with the Thali was the best I’ve ever had. Definitely recommend the place and thank you a lot to Sir Dinesh to bring my trip experience to the next level!

Good place for people with food problems/ allergies!
I have 4 serious allergies:
- gluten allergy
- nut allergy
- fruit allergy
-carrot allergy
If I eat this I won't be able to breathe and I'll have to go to the hospital. I made this clear upon arrival and our waiter Sudhir and the team in the kitchen did their best to help me. I had a lovely meal. This was the first time in India that I actually dared to empty my plate. thank you!
My parents and I absolutely loved the food here last night! The service was amazing. The main server was so delightful and spoke English very well. Would highly recommend this place! Definitely try multiple things on the menu they’re all delicious.

Shahid is an amazing host and owner of the Taj Mahal restaurant in Agra. I had the Indian Tali dish which was a great way to try out the rich variety of Indian cuisine. Everything was phenomenal in terms of how fresh the food is, the service and a warm atmosphere. You wont regret coming here for the price and experience. I will be back next time I'm here in lovely India!
Very good food, made fresh to order. Spice level customized for us, especially for our daughter who doesn't like spicy food. Great service - they ended the meal with tasty local petha! Highly recommend!

The place has a really good ambience. The service is also nice. Now about the food, the portion size is very small and it's a bit overpriced. We order some paneer tikka, veg biryani, tea and lemon shikanji, aloo paratha and we spent 1600 Rs. For a good 3 star restaurant with this much cost one can expect big portion size and tasty food. Here the veg biryani didn't taste like biryani and the paneer tikka portion was not much. The service was nice though, they customized the paneer and made it less spicy.
They claim to be halal restaurant so I we went there taste was ok service was good
