If you are a kind of person who wants to experience the road side food and you are in Ahmedabad, you cannot moss Manek Chowk. This is the old Ahmedabad city and you cannot really take your car there. Park your car somewhere and then walk and experience this amazing place There are chairs and tables in open and the people in front of each stall will convince you to come to their place. The most popular foods include Pav Bhaji, chocolate or pineapple sandwich, dosa and final most amazing part is the Jamun shots. When you come here, definitely try these jamun shots. People also coke here to have "wanela gathya " and then jalebi, fafda at night time. Yes this market gets going after 11.30 pm and the good time to visit here is after mid-night. In morning there are shops loke jewellers etc. And after they close is when these road side stall take over.

Manekchowk Food Market is a place I keep coming back to, and I was there just yesterday. The variety of food here is incredible, and it all tastes so good. They serve you quickly, which is great. The only hiccup is getting there. The traffic and narrow lanes can be a bit of a challenge. And don’t even get me started on parking – it’s like searching for a needle in a haystack. But if you’re up for a delicious adventure, this place is a must-visit for food lovers!

This is a wild place. a jungle of street food joints. You will get everything from bhaji paav to Pani Puri to pizza to paneer tikka to crazy variety of sandwiched. There is so much to try that you can keep eating here for wees and still not have it all. My top picks here are: Mahalaxmi Pav bhaji Happy Hour Paneer tikka Paper dosa (try gwalior dosa only if you love butter) Italian pizza

The food was fine but I found it expensive. It’s famous for the street food but the price is equal to that of restaurant. I went at night and it was very crowded, you have to wait for the place to sit and eat. I really liked the jamun shot and sevpuri.

This is a great place to visit during good weather. Definitely a big NO during rains & peak summers. The place is 300 mtrs from the main road. The food stalls start serving food around 8:00 pm. This is the ideal time to arrive as it is easy to get an empty table. Charming place to eat at night in middle of old city of Amdavad. It’s a street food place with focus on Sandwich, Pav Bhaji, Pizza , Dosa , Fruit Shots and Kulfi. A few Mukhwas shops also in the market where you can different varieties of Mukhwas. You must try Gotala Dosa from Balan Dosa, Pineapple Cheese Sandwich, Chocolate Cheese Sandwich from Manek, Ghughra Sandwich is also very famous. Gwalior Dosa & Ashrfilal’s Roll Cut Ice creams are very famous. If you love cheese and open street food then must visit the Manekchowk..!!

Must visit! Instead of being sold things (jewelry, door Hangers, etc), it's food! All food! Good food! We had two plates of Pav Bhaji, absolutely delicious! We also had dosa, sandwiches, fruit shots and the PavBhaji....was THE BEST! SOLID CHOICE! (( I did take that big block of butter out, my fiance kept his lol))

One of favourite place to have Street food in Ahmedabad. It open around 8 PM to till 3 AM. You can find many varieties of food and some food items are unique as well. It's an open street food lane for food lovers or you can say food paradise. The prices are very affordable and the food taste was amazing according to the prices and it is a must visit place at night for the night life of Ahmedabad. The best place to visit with friends and family. Also carry cash as many vendors don't use UPI. This place is an emotion and heart of every Amadavadi.

Ahmedabad Street Food is one of my favorite places to have street food in Ahmedabad. Its was my first experience in Ahmedabad at manekchowk and it was really amazing. It's an open street food lane with a wide variety of food items, from traditional Gujarati dishes to variety of cuisine. The prices are very affordable and the food taste is amazing. I highly recommend the ghotala dosa, ragda pattice, and dahi puri. The ghotala dosa is a hearty dish of mashed cheese, vegetables, and spices, served with a buttery pav. The ragda pattice is a savory patty made with mashed potatoes, chickpeas, and spices, served with a sweet and sour chutney. And the dahi puri is a crispy fried puri filled with yogurt, chutneys, and sev.
