I had a certain impression for this hotel since i had been to the same one in Mumbai. Turned out the Ahmedabad version of this hotel is better than Mumbai version. I've been there twice with family who eat Jain food.Ambiance and service is quite decent.
Though the chain is famous for taste of pav bhaji both the times we ordered punjabi and south indian food.Since I had liberty to eat both jain and regular food,I could try all the dishes. Idli and Masala Dosa (Jain) were really average(3.5).In starters Hara Bhara Kabab and Paneer Tikka (Jain) was no different from any other place(3.5). Idli chilli dry (4.5) stole the show.
In main course(JAin) we ordered Veg Handi(3.5),Veg Kolhapuri(3.5) and Khoya Kaju(2.5). Khoya kaju was too sweet for sabzi. The best veg preparation(Jain) was Paneer Khazan(4) which had paneer stuffed with vegetables. For Non-Jain food I ordered Paneer Do Pyaza which was outstanding(4.5).

Well yesterday we visit this resto..me my sister & brother in law(jiju) we order punjabi food. I 1st time visit this resto i like dining , staf is also nice , coming to the food ..PANNER TIKKA MASALA was very tasty ,🙂quentity was OK butter milk was quit good.. But Naan was very dispointed for me..🙁.. It was very thik I can't eat it properly....🍽

Cheese bhaji Pav is tremendous.
The perfect taste of bombay pav bhaji can be seen here. The ambience is average and even the service is quite satisfying.
A good place to visit for having bhaji pav and bombay sandwiches.

I was there with my friends.
we have ordered Manchurian, paneer chilli and Italian pizza.

Manchurian tasted good but quantity is too less in compare with price.
Paneer chilli tasted average not too good. same for Italian pizza.
Mocktail was good.

They are serving very less quantity in compare with price.

Staff behaviour was good. Ambient place.

Shiv Sagar always reminds me of the original one in Mumbai. I was on a holiday in Ahmedabad and wanted to try out this restaurant. Quality of food was more than average and worth the amount spent there. Pao Bhaji was 85% as i was expecting. It was good experience.

It's hard enough to deliver on such high expectations and they have done it spot on. Already a massive brand in Mumbai famous for it's Pav Bhaji simple yet elegant, they have been successful in replicating same in Ahmedabad where Pav Bhaji tastes a lot different. Other items on the menu are also worth trying as they seem to be served straight from those jostling mumbai streets. I hope they keep up the good work.

Not sure about the food but ambience was good! Response from the staff was also really good... Service was quick... Didn't have to wait much for the meals...

The food here is very good....convenient for the rates...only problem is if u Wana go for date here...u won't get silence here...it's always too noisy as it's a family restaurant!! Otherwise is overall good
