This ice cream joint is very famous nowadays due to their awesome natural kulfis, we tried their natural thandai roll and tilliwali kulfi, both were awesome in taste and good quality. Became fan of their kulfis. Highly recommended.

Summer sets and I kick off it with my fav Kulfi Shoppe!!! it was my first visit to this branch I had a good service from the counter... kulfi was fresh as always and it's as good as other branches... me and my wife ordered our regular fav which our roasted almond and malai ... They are must haves !!! .. The lost 1.0 for the location as its does get a bit unnoticed from the main road ... It should be at some place more visible to attract more crowd during off season!!

One of the best places to go for authentic Indian food! I love the flavors at Viceroy and the staff is really friendly and helpful. Being Indian, I like the fact that the food is absolutely authentic and healthy (not submerged in loads and loads of oil like other places). You won't be disappointed, your stomach will be happy and your wallet won't be completely empty... take it from me, I'm a student again. I have even frequented their Lombard location for the lunch buffet when I used to work in the area and I would totally recommend the place to others. The buffet is a great deal - lots of variety.
This place is spiced just right. Four samosa's for Viceroy!!!
The creamy consistency that these guys maintain in their kulfi is so delicious and satisfactory. Their kulfi is a heavy on your belly you might crave one more but trust me that'd be a bad idea. Been their done that.

As I mentioned in the review of Girish Cold Drinks: India has its own local, home-grown drinks brand. A brand that innovated with flavours, colours, and local sensibilities to produce products that are loved by the masses and classes alike. Mostly their products include milk-based drinks which also promote healthy living and drinking. Asharfilal Kulfi is yet another example of this growing clan.
I had no intentions of having a Kulfi there but something pulled me inside -- maybe it was Gujarat's reputation of being the Milk capital of the country which obviously translates to great milk products or may be i didn't find a place that I was looking for and had no intentions of going back empty handed -- in this case --- empty stomaced.
I walked in to have a kulfi and was gob smacked when I heard the price. Not only can I have a kulfi in that place some place else, but I can also have full thali to my heart's content. But no, I was not turning back and went ahead to order the Malai Kulfi -- which a circular kulfi that was cut into small pieces and served to me.
I've had kulfis before -- and my all time favourite is Parsi Dairy in Mumbai so I was eager to see how it fared against the Mumbai legend. The Kulfi at Asharfilal was a lil too cold to savour the creamy taste of the malai. So cold that it numbed my senses to some extent. So minus points there. The 'right temperature' science has to be very very precise both for the icecream/kulfi and beer. The kulfi was as good as the Parsi Dairy one. It wasn't as creamy and malaee as I thought it would be. However, I must say that it is the best in Ahmedabad if not in India.
Considering the astron(c)omical prices at which these kulfis are sold, I think some at Asharfilal should get a reality check sooner than later. I thought the kulfis are a touch too over-rated. But that's just me.
Am I going again? May be, if someone sponsors me. The idea of spending Thali's worth money on a home-grown, desi brand of kulfi is just not my idea of chilling out late nights in Ahmedabad. No thanks. Seriously.
The place is under renovation hence have limited options but the kulfi is still the best!
Amazing place for a variety of kulfies. We enjoyed the roll ones, kesar, pistachio. It's a chain of outlets opposite Mansi Tower Vastrapur. Downside: Don't accept digital payment, cards etc. Insist on cash memo, they try to evade.
