I have been eating their icecream since childhood. For almost 20 years I have had chocolate chips. Last few years made me try their other flavours as well.

They make fresh icecream daily and that makes a lot of difference in the taste. Probably the only place in Ahmedabad doing so in this era. They are now ok Swiggy which is a boon for so many people. Up next on my list is going to be Ginger icecream (YES!! They have this flavour) to boost up my immunity in the current pandemic.
I've literally been a fan of this place. It's been there for a long long time. My parents introduced me to this place and since then I've taken a lot of friends here. I really love their chocolate walnut and variyali ice-cream.

Classic means classic. Nobody give day to day made fresh Icecream. All Icecream are approx 3 to 9 month store Icecream with full of binders .5 stare

Their ice cream are good but i prefer the jathani ice cream. Wasy more flavour and tastier and less commercialized. Please try that out rather than this one

Classic Derani Jethani is one of the oldest ice cream serving place in Ahmedabad.. Little tough to locate it.. Nothing extraordinary about ambience as it is small place with some chairs.. Also you can get ice cream packs in different quantities and flavours..
As I have been to this place couple of times I have tried some good number of options from the menu and comments for same are mentioned here:
Rose - I personally like this flavour more and hardly in Ahmedabad you can get plain rose flavour ice cream.. Good one..
Rose Coconut - Same as above.. Rose ice cream with little twist of coconut which makes taste little different as compare to normal one.. If you like coconut as ingredient in ice cream then you should try it once..
American Biscuit - So this one is famous from the menu.. Almost half of the taste can be considered similar to Cookies & Cream Ice Cream served by Havmor since long but still can be given a try once..
Chocolate, Chocolate Chips & Coffee - Nothing extraordinary.. Similar to what you can get at other outlets in city..
Overall average place to have some ice cream but can be given a try for some unique options like Rose Coconut & American Biscuit..
Tried Guava (Jamfal) Ice-cream and Blue Berry Ice-cream. They were just awesome.
Guava ice-cream was topped off with chili powder. It enhanced the taste of the ice-cream. Its a Sweet and Spicy riot in your mouth.
Blueberry ice-cream resembled to blue berry cake. Best part of the ice creams at Classic Derani Jethani is that, you get chunks of fruit in the ice cream. Great job guys. Keep up the good work. Waiting to taste the CHARCOAL ICE-CREAM which the owners promised me.
Out of many places for ice creams ...
This is one of the oldest one ... Pure ice creams with pure ingredients ... No essence based flavour ...
My last visit was almost more than a year back .. I have been visiting this place since my childhood .. I love the chocolate walnut icecream
And Ginger Icecream in winter ...
Its a very small place near residential area .. but good icecreams .. So if I have to rate them on their ambience and presentation I will deduce some points ...
But it is recommended for the good and fresh taste ..
Must visit ! Since nowadays there are new varieties of ice creams but somehow the real and traditional old flavour is lost somewhere...

Somewhere in the middle of the growing Ahmedabad, this ice cream place seems faded. And after so many years I tried their Anjeer flavour ice cream. Some basic ice cream flavours are making a spot in the menu. But surely their ice creams are worth trying.
Don't expect to get lavish sitting arrangements or super awesome service. You'll get your order and you can sit on chairs placed.
OG Ice cream, recently visited and had rose coconut ice cream which is a must try flavour and highly recommended. After a long time I visited this place. Seating capacity is less to try to take parcels.
Yummy ice-creams , tried many flavors 😋. It's in the owners' home , nice greenery around , relaxing atmosphere. Owners are nice people 👍
