Have been here several times over the years for breakfast and have always liked their food. The South Indian breakfast menu is good and you can order anything and not be disappointed for sure

Haven't tried anything apart from the dosas and idlis. But I can definitely recommend this place for anyone who is around the station and wants a quick meal!

Masala papad

And the food was served quick and hot

The only thing is if you want A/C room the have your food then you have to have thali

We were little late
Many restaurants got closed till then

At Jay Vijay we stopped by
And thought punjabi thali is something that we should try

They served us all those things
That you can see in the pics

Except the buttermilk
As it was by foodside

Well the soup was ok
But rest of things made us speechless

Be it hygiene, taste or staff
It was just perfect

Money what we paid
Gave the best return

We went famished
Came out with big burps

Super hit.

@150 they given half Gujarati Tiffin..

Due to time limit I have packed the the half lunch..

We are 3 at home so its sufficient for us..

They given 2 farsan & 1 sweet.. Gulab jambu fresh and soft love it..

In farsan they given patra and samosa. Both is good in taste..!!

Restaurant is spacious and if you eat over there then it's good for family also.. Price are reasonable.

All the subjis taste is good.. Mug also not sweet so I like a lot..

Worth it and try it another time for sure 👍😏

Being a South Indian I was very skeptical about trying gujrati thali here. Wasn't really sure if the sweetness of gujrati food will impress my South Indian taste buds.But luckily this food joint turned out to be really good and decent.
Food - Traditional Gujrati cuisine with bang on perfection of spice and sugar.
Service - Quick and decent with great hygiene and cleanliness.
Kadi and moong dal no sheero was perfect.Not to forget the sweet samosas which were amazing as well.

Totally cost effective. 120/- Bucks for an amazing decent thali in an ac seating area that too with such tasty food .We couldn't ask for more.We very very satisfied with the food as well as the service.

Verdict
Next time I am in Ahmadabad I surely know this is the place to have amazing food

It’s situated in front of railway station. One of the best places in Ahmadabad for Gujarati Thali. The thali cost @120 per person. A service is fast and taste is good.

I had tried Gujarati cuisine in Ahemdabad. But this one is the best till now, and the one that wouldn't cost you a fortune! The food is tasty, pocket-friendly and staff is customer-friendly.
I had thali and half tiffin too. And Hal-tiffin has a whooping quantity that can be enough for four people (costed only 150 INR)!
Must visit this one if you're looking for economical and tasty Gujarati food near or in Kalupur.

Had Gujarati Thali Unlimited. Was good enough for the price. one of the cleanest and hygienic hotels in amdavad near the station that i know of. they also offer other veg options like punjabi, chinese. Good place to have a quick lunch.

Food tasted good 👍. Packing of food is also good. Had Masala Dosa, Curd Rice and Butter milk 🥛. All items tasted good.

This is a good place for dining, situated within 1 km from railway station. We had Gujarati Thali which was unlimited for 190. However, Gujarati Thali is not available in packing to carry away. Card payments are available for large payments. Gujarati Thali is served inside in another cabin, outside they serve Punjabi Thali.

The restaurant is right opposite the railway station and is very hygienic and pocket-friendly. The service is quick and efficient. Gujarati thali is served in an AC section. Other food is served in a non-ac section. Not your high-end, aesthetically pleasing place but worth the money. Just felt the food lacked some spice but that can be blamed on my North Indian taste palette. Yet, it wasn't at par with other Gujarati thalis I've had. The variety was limited too. But what more can you expect in under Rs.200 per person. 💁

I was in Ahmedabad for 4hours . During this duration i was hungary so i searched for resturant and i got suggestion about this resturant . So we visited the place. And we ordered mushroom and dal along with some roti and rice. The combination was really appreciable and taste was awesome. Later on we tried dessert which was also good in taste. The place is really clean and hygenic . Also child friendly . And pure veg resturant is the main cause for my visit.
