It's a lovely place for both family and friends times, the food is awesome and the staff is very polite.
I have been a regular customer to this place and its been almost ten years now and they are still as kind as I found them on my first day there. The food, the ambience, the staff everything is now familiar to me. Recently the manager got to know about us as we wrote the reviews on given receipt when it was my fiance's birthday and he called us to personally thank us as we had been a regular customer from years.. I must say that this place has everything and I love going there as the food is always light, tasty and sufficient in quantity. If you want a place to chill and talk or ho with family, friends or your lover this one is a perfect place.

Very nice place with a lot on the menu that you'll love and will come back for ordering again. The chicken lababdar is a real delicacy. Do try it. The mutton seekh kebab is superb.
Tandoor has been a favorite since childhood. Their butter chicken and sweet corn chicken soup is something I relish even till now.
Recently I ordered their Paneer Pasanda and black daal. The paneer had a very decent quantity and it was delectable. Also, the daal was delicious.
It was a nice experience being there....I just love their food...and mostly I love their biryani.....its just awesome....and I like most of their non veg dishes..they are delicious

Tried so many things here bt this time when I tried their chola bhatura...chola was good bt less spicy and bhatura was not warm....
But the best thing after 3 pm on chola bhatura & dosa... You can get offer of buy one and get one free...

I recently visited Tandoor Restaurant, and despite its old-world charm and reputation for great food and service, I couldn't help but notice that the interior is in a dilapidated condition. While the dining experience was satisfactory, it is evident that the restaurant is in need of some much-needed renovation.
Let's start with the positives. The food at Tandoor Restaurant is undoubtedly delicious and lives up to its long-standing reputation. The flavors of the dishes were authentic, and the variety on the menu catered to a range of tastes. From the tender and flavorful tandoori chicken to the rich and aromatic curries, the culinary experience was delightful, leaving our taste buds satisfied.
The service, too, was commendable. The staff was attentive and accommodating, providing timely assistance without being overly intrusive. They were well-versed with the menu, and their recommendations were spot-on. Some of them are there since I've seen them back in 90s.
However, the interior of the restaurant seemed to be stuck in time. The furniture appeared worn-out and lacked the comfort one would expect from an upclass restaurant. The decor felt dated, and the lighting was dim, which affected the overall ambiance negatively. A much-needed renovation is essential to restore the restaurant's elegant atmosphere and maintain its status as a top-notch dining destination.
Despite the interior's condition, the quality of food and service has not deteriorated, which is a testament to the restaurant's commitment to maintaining its culinary standards. However, I believe that investing in a renovation would elevate the dining experience to new heights and attract a broader clientele.
I have visited here a lot of time with my friends. I'm impressed with the service and tasty food in affordable price. We ordered Fried Rice with Paneer Chilli, Spring roll, Cold Coffee and Ice Cream. All were good in taste. They served dessert or icecream in the end. On showing the student id card 20% percent of discount is provided.
Loved the food, delicious starters Paneer Tikka is better than Delhi, Dal and rotis were fantastic.

Probably one of the best restaurant in Civil lines( Allahabad). Food is good with decent pricing. It has two flors. If you are student of Agriculture college (SHUATS) you will get discount by showing your identity card and on your birthday, mentioned on id card, you with get complimentary dishes and may be discount.

Old restaurant with great taste! Good in many dishes. Specially the staff. They are since the starting of restaurant. They served quite well food. Their speciality is Chilly chicken, kadhai paneer and mutton rogan josh! They serve good soups. Recently they started a new outlet which serves roll icecream! They prepare infont of you which makes your mouth watery.. they serves family on first floor and ground floor is for small families or singles or couples..One must visit this place to have their butter naan.. per person it will cost you around 250 to have a mouth full meal! They takes quite long to serve food.. sometimes you have to wait a bit longer.. No complimentary juices or drink..
