One of the very few places in allahabad that are consistent when it comes to quality of food and service. Staff is courteous and warm, menu has something for everyone right form Cafreal to khao suey. Places is pretty spacious which ample sitting options and a beautiful rooftop for chilly winter evenings. If you're visiting allahabad, this place should be om your list to try.

We visited the Old School Cafe a few days back and were amazed by it's amazing interiors and the variety of food that it offered.
It is located in Civil Lines and easily reachable. It's uptown interior and modern decor truly sets your mood for a fine dining experience. The ambiance is comfortable to have your food. It also provides a rooftop seating arrangement, which is equally nice and enjoyable, with a scenic view.
In the starters, we tried their Paneer Chill Dry and Veg Dimsums. The Paneer Chilli Dry was delectable and hands down one of the best in Allahabad. The spices were so well balanced and the paneer was fresh too! The Dimsums were okayish and could've been better.
In the main course, we ordered their Punjabi Kukkad Chicken curry along with Tandoori Roti. The curry was very good in quantity and the taste was delicious! One plate of curry had four chicken pieces, which were amazing! Overall, we really liked the balance of taste in the curry.
We were also pleased with the courteous service of the staff members who were very friendly and helpful.
It's truly an amazing place if you want to have a good dining experience or for small parties and get-togethers. Really enjoyed my time there. Highly recommended!
So everyone wants to find a place which they can call "their place", the one where you can sit for hours and talk about life, or where you can go just to make pamper yourself, or where you can just create a lot and lot memories. Old School is my place. There is nothing to not love about this place. The food, ambiance, staff, music and crowd. Everything just seems perfect. I have had almost everything from their menu(vegetarian) and every dish is worth the money. I highly recommend this place to people who wants to have a good time with great food and soothing music.
Nice Place to chill out and dine in for couple, single or family. U can also opt for meetings too.

Everything was delicious. Not even a single thing I could say was not appropriate. Accurate amount of spices well cooked, kudos to the chef.
The service was great and even the cleanliness. Also, I missed the vibe because I went in the afternoon and it was bit empty, but from the setup I could say the evening would be lit. 🔥

The most perfect place for having a lively time both if your are alone or with family and friends. The outside seating is amazing for small groups or even couples and you can smoke outside too. Food is top notch and the prices are as per that. They really take care of small details which is why you will find this place always kind a crowded.
Weekends and evening do expect a waiting time.
Prompt service , continental is good, quantity or serving is good, ambience is ok, u really have to find ur way up to the restaurant, there is a sitout on terrace and with a slight nip, it was a good place to sit outside, orders non veg pasta , noodles, veg pasta and chicken burger, blue lagoon too, it is a chilled out place once u reach there, for a city like Prayagraj it is quite ok

The best place for good food, the ambience there is good. Services are also good... Well decorated cafe.. Well maintained... Very cozy. And appealing to the eyes... The prices of food will be w little on the higher side. But that's alright... It's not over expensive... Couple friendly, family friendly, 👍
